Review: Trouble Maker – Jiyeon VS. Hyuna
On the 1st of July 2014, Jiyeon performed a cover of ‘Trouble Maker,’ originally by Hyuna of 4 Minute and Hyunseung of B2st for their debut collaboration song.

Notably, in Jiyeon’s version of ‘Trouble Maker,’ the choreography has been modified to be more general-view-friendly, cautiously performed and yet still able to bring out the sexiness expressed in the song.
Around 1.01 – ‘cat-lady’ Jiyeon scratches the back of the man and glared fiercely at the camera. Around 1.20 – floor as the prop (that lucky floor.) It’s the killer move of the performance. I don’t know how many Jiyeonians fell off their chair on that second but I’m definitely one of them.
Despite only repeating the chorus instead of performing the full song with fellow MC partner, Jiyeon and Jung Wook still manage to pull off an equally powerful performance.
Next, let’s watch the original version.
From the beginning till the end it’s a hot scene everywhere with a hot choreography. Not to mention, daring hand positions as well.
(Timeline: 0.43 , 0.55-0.58, 1.35, 1.51-1.53)
Bold daring moves in the choreography, which only suitable for a certain age, is not a problem of course.
If we were to make a comparison, let’s just do it with Hyuna and Jiyeon; keeping the guys out. It’s a Girl’s Zone for now.
Jiyeon’s moves aren’t too explicit to watch and yet despite the cautiousness during her performance, there’s still no awkwardness in between (despite her stiff partner. I bet he is stunned by Jiyeon’s charisma on stage. Who wouldn’t be, right?) As for Hyuna, adding daring moves to the choreography despite the risk of her getting bashed even more than usual is also worth to give credits for going all-out for the performance.
Both of them have their own charms and styles to carry out the performance of the same song, instead of criticizing, we should give a round of applause for their efforts to both Hyuna and Jiyeon’s team.

Hmmm,I agree with your statement. And I’m gonna add a little bit…I personally think in terms of sexiness,I think Jiyeon does it the best without any excessive bold moves, unlike Troublemaker’s original dance moves. With Jiyeon’s glares alone, she send a sexy message to all audience that was watching this particular perf, which was uncomparable either Hyuna’s nor the recent Yura’s perf. They’re(Hyuna and Yura) both sexy,I know but somehow Jiyeon’s perf was more…*phew too damn sexy~ LOL
