T-ara makes a surprise appearance on KBS2TV's Gag Concert.
On August 3rd, T-ara's Qri posted "We're at GagCon (Gag Concert)!! Exciting 40 seconds~" with the photo above on her Twitter account.
On the photo, T-ara members are lined up on the Gag Concert stage as part of Gag Concert's 'Superstar KBS' corner.
Netizens commented on the photos: "You are on GagConcert! I'm waiting for that to broadcast", "The 'Superstar KBS' corner is a great corner, it's good to see something new (?)", "I wonder what song you guys are doing there", "A 40-second appearance? [11.08.03] T-ara's "Roly-Poly" makes 300M KRW in daily sales
'RolyPoly' has made 300,000,000 KRW in daily sales.
Girl group T-ara has made 300,000,000 KRW (about $300,000 US) in daily sales. It is not typical for a recording artist to achieve making this much in daily sales. This then shows the public that T-ara has become very popular.
"On August 1st, daily sales went up to 300,000,000 won," said T-ara's agency, Core Contents Media, "which makes it the highest daily revenue among the songs released in this year".
They continued, "Over the past year, T-ara has made over 10,000,000,000 (about $9.5 million USD) in just Korea. This is something that even Japanese girl groups struggle to reach."
'Roly-Poly' on its own has already sold 250,000,000 KRW overall. Moreover, 300,000,000 KRW in daily sales has set a phenomenal record. This has only been achieved from hit albums in the past.
Because of this, recording artists have a new record to target in daily sales. T-ara's 'Roly-Poly' earning this much in daily sales show that their song have indeed received a lot of love nationwide.
T-ara have also made over 4,000,000,000 KRW ($3.8 million USD) in various CFs and advertisements this year alone.
Meanwhile, T-ara's 'Roly-Poly in Copacabana' music video was released on August 3rd and topped GomTV's music video chart 40 minutes after its release. T-ara will start promoting this track on August 5th on KBS2TV's Music Bank.

[11.07.20] T-ara's Hyomin's professionalism shines on 'Show Show Show'
Hyomin from the girl group T-ara recently recording for tvN music variety show "Show Show Show" and showed her professionalism.
On the 19th, Hyomin's schedule had to be moved because she was rushed to the hospital for collapsing. Hyomin was in a bad condition but had a schedule to attend to at 8PM for Show Show Show. Despite her poor condition, Hyomin still went for the recording after she was able to get some rest.

[11.07.12] T-ara's 'Roly Poly' MV Part 2: Dominated Sites Instantly
T-ara's 'Roly Poly' MV Part 2 shows that they are really popular.
On July 11th, at 1PM the 2nd Part to T-ara's 'Roly-Poly' music video was released and topped GomTV's real time music video chart.
Moreover, the 1st Part received over 1.5 million views on GomTV, topping their weekly charts as well.
Both parts of the MV were directed by Cha Euntaek. The first part in the style of a mini-drama, and the second T-ara being on different types of stages/sets.
After releasing 2 different shots, in the music and making form, fans from 40 different countries have watched "Roly-Poly" and have shown a lot of love over YouTube. The have danced the choreography and added it into the ending of the video to show their thankfulness for them.
"After seeing foreign fans following the choreography to Roly Poly at the end of the MV, it really put a smile on my face," said some fans, "Everyone enjoys Roly Poly", "The last part was really great, it was nice to watch".

[11.07.06] T-ara's Japanese Showcase: Girl fans VS boy fans
Showcase to be broadcast in 3D
Girl group T-ara has now immersed themselves into Japan.
T-ara performed at the Tokyo AXHall on the 5th of July at 7:30PM where 1,500 fans were in attendance for T-ara's first Japanese stage performance.
That day, fans lined up for the showcase hours before it started. In Japan, there was a big difference in gender ratios in fans as compared to the one in Korea.
When you go to a Korean girl group concert, you'll see that there are a lot of male fans that end up lining up in front of reporters. However, in this showcase, T-ara's power was shown as there was more female fans than male fans.
One of the girl fans present were asked where they found T-ara and what T-ara's charm was and she said, "I found them through a YouTube video. They are able to deliver stylish, sexy, and cute performances and it's very cool. Compared to Japanese girl groups there's more professionalism."
A J-ROCK representative says, "Japanese girl groups focus on visuals while Koreans focus on giving perfect performances. Therefore, Japanese girl fans wish to follow this kind of trend." (?)
They continued by, "In the case of the male Japanese fans, rather than accessing their hearts to a perfect star, they prefer to access to girl groups who are not as complete."
The showcase finished late at night and T-ara had to return back to their hotel, but some of the girls ran chasing and screaming after them.
Japan's greatest satellite-broadcaster Scapa will broadcast T-ara's First Japanese Showcase in 3D and 2D on the 14th of August, whilst FUJI-TV "Next Channel" will display a close up view of the recording room at the showcase in the special program "T-ara to T-ara"on the 27th of August.
Meanwhile, T-ara released their new title track "Roly Poly" in Korea. They will release the Japanese version to "Bo Peep Bo Peep" in September of this year.

Eunjung of T-ara is impressed with her husband Lee Jangwoo's swimming skills.
Not long ago, both joined MBC's We Got Married and as a vacation, both went to go enjoy in a waterpark.
Eunjung has a water phobia and Lee Jangwoo offered to teach her how to swim, Jangwoo won a medal in the "Idol Athletics Championships" previously.
Eunjung really had admired Lee Jangwoo's skills as he swam in the water.

This young talent is really unstoppable.
Sports Donga conducted an interview with one of today's main idols who is both an aspiring singer and actor, Ham Eunjung (23). This member of girl group T-ara has been on many different types of dramas - from romantic comedies to historical ones and movies.
On June 9th, her movie "White: Curse of the Melody" hit theatres. The public was very interested and wanted to meet the public through a Twitter interview. The interview lasted through the course of four days because Eunjung's schedule was extremely tight because T-ara went from Singapore, to Japan, and back again to Korea for music promotions.
Fans flooded Twitter with their questions for Eunjung.

Girl group T-ara's Hyomin has revealed an admission letter/slip from the past.
On June 2nd, Hyomin updated her Twitter with the status "I found this! So much fun when I received this acceptance.. When I received this, I cried like a dinosaur~ How touching!" along with the photos.
The photos are of Hyomin's acceptance letter from a university. Through them, you can really see Hyomin's pretty face even during a time when hairstyles and fashion were different, sporting a short-cut hairstyle with a nice smile on her face.
Netizens have made comments such as "It's a little dim, but you're still pretty", "Congratulations... Oh~ (from) 2008?", and "This photo really shows a lot of proof!".

[11.05.31] Idols on 'WHITE': It's Too Scary!
On May 30th, the VIP premiere event for new horror film, WHITE went through successfully. It is a horror story involving an idol group.
To support T-ara's Eunjung, girl group T-ara attended the event to watch the film as well as other idols from groups such as KARA's Park Gyuri, 2AM's Im Seulong, MissA's Min and Suzy, Davichi's Kang Minkyung and Lee Haeri.
Other stars that attended include: Park Yongwoo, Seowoo, Hwanhee, Lee Sangwoo, Park Jibin, Ryu Deokhwan, Lee Pilmo. With the stars, the theatre was filled up by fans.
After the movie, most of the idols and actors that went to see it went straight to their Twitter accounts to tweet "That was SO scary" which in turn made the public anticipate the film even more.
2AM's Seulong said "WHITE was very enjoyable. It's a scary movie, but it's still fun at the same time to watch" with that, he even added "I was seated beside MissA's Min, and her screaming was even scarier than the film!"
MissA's Min commented that "People have to watch this film! It's going to be your must-do for the summer!". MissA's Suzy said that "It was really, really scary! It's great for the summer... But you probably shouldn't watch it alone".
T-ara's Hyomin commented that "Eunjung-unni's never been shown this way. I'm still scared,". Park Gyuri of KARA said that the film was "fun and scary" and that "everyone should watch it. I live alone, and that scares me..."
WHITE will come out in the theatres June 9th 2011.

I was just trying to organize something for Hyomin's movie, and I was talking with our friends in Korea, and it turns out, that Hyomin is filming a drama as well on top of her horror film. It's still top secret, no one knows if it's true or not, but she is filming something else for a drama of some sort for the future.
Like I said, it's real top-secret, so I can't really say anymore details... But it's a good update regarding our Girls and the drama industry once again!
