  1. Their maknae Areum? Whatever happened to Dani lol. Somebody needs to tell them you can't have an adult-version of a MV, several MVs that have a handful of violent scenes under your belt and then try to play the all-ages friendly card. Does not bother me one bit. I actually buy Chum Churum cause it has Hyori on it. Otherwise I stick to more conventional drinks.
  2. You can never please everyone. Never. I am curious and a bit hesitant to watch whatever this is. Really trying to enjoy my T-ara without the drama though...which has been quite rough still.
  3. LOL this is why she's my favorite. Fight the power! I hope she wins, this way other companies won't jump the gun with their contracts and stars.
  4. I think he meant Kqueens as a moniker for overdramatic Kpop fans. Queen, diva, princess, daddy's girl, etc. are other similar terms to grow on that. Now if he did mean to throw a jab at Queens...LOL. Though I think Queens still have the right to chant 'Hwayoung'. It also takes a ton of courage to perform in front of a disapproving crowd. Glad none of them teared up or anything. Props to T-ara.
  5. As asked earlier, will this be the same one as the one released not too long ago? Sounds like it'll be from the same photoshoots at least. Let's hope for a reasonable price. All I know is there better not be a black rectangular box in group photos where a certain ex-member should be.
  6. I normally don't like retro/vintage stuff too much but that cover is pretty cool. Hopefully they conclude the Day By Day MV drama.
  7. What part of "Dead it right there." and "If you want to continue, I am available by PM." did you not understand. Do you or do you not realize that you still continue to insult me, misinterpret my posts, and pretty much lie through out your post. Normally I don't mind having some back and forth with members who share opposing views but you come off as a troll and disrespectful where uncalled for AND do so to other members.
  8. This lady deserves a Pulitzer's...or a Korean equivalent. Preach sister. Finally an article where someone makes some sense.
  9. That's modern day society. You're more likely to be wronged by a man in a business suit than a man in a ski mask. BTW that sort of termination is quite common. I feel so bad for Eunjung. It's not her fault.
  10. Wow where do I start. Am I flattered to be quoted multiple times or should I be upset that you not only butchered my points but then threw words in my mouth? -Nor is calling the public a bunch of mindless, delusional, easy to manipulate, zealots is a good thing either. Agreed? Your words, not mine. I'll have my opinion on the general public and you your's. -And as I pointed out, the people, including those who dislike/hate T-ara, requested an official statement from the members. Soyeon, being the leader of the group and member, "officially" spoke about it, and guess what, the group of people who dislike/hate T-ara simply "DID NOT BELIEVE HER ONE BIT!" Which inevitably made them contradict their entire views and beliefs, and then continued their dark crusade against them, all because they didn't get the answers they completely believe in, which happens to be false. If people who dislike T-ara didn't believe the interview, that is their issue. Sorry where in my post did I ever say I doubted her? Soyeon was one of multiple parties involved. If there was a fight among 2-3, do you take one person's word and make conclusions from that? Don't answer that, I fear for your answer. -About that name calling again? And her statements clearly said that they were disagreements and polarized point of views amongst the members, and definitely "not bullying", because they didn't want to go that far, nor have Hwayoung removed at all. It was the 19 statements by the staff members that changed all of that, not the members. Soyeon clearly stated that they all wanted a solution to resolve their differences from another point of view. How does all of this "solidify" bullying or even prove that the members were bullying each other? If disagreements are defined as bullying, then that means both you and I are bullying each other right now, right? Do you feel bullied? Don't be offended by me calling you delusional. That was more to give you a hint to see things from my point. Which I guess you're trying because you've made some opinions for me which I don't recall having. Good effort, bad execution though. I won't get into a pissing match between words because you and I definitely haven't watched the same interview. And no I don't consider this bullying. A member came at me sideways, called me an anti and picked apart my post and butchered any point I made. Don't think I'd let that slide. -Is there proof that this "really happened"? Witnesses? Better yet, show us this "crazy stuff" and it's "specific hidden location". The media is hungry for anything, so what. You use a lot of "quotes" and you sure use them "wrong." Example of crazy things CCM has put the lid on? The Jiyeon/webcam thing, T-ara's initial criticisms by media for bad attitude, outfits and sporting a rival team's color. Ok, not exactly crazy because they're old and no longer significant. Wait I think I just proved my point. Onto the next butchering... -Indeed, it is unfortunate that there are those who just can't understand the sheer gravity of this situation and take this so out of context So far the only person taking things out of context is you. Don't lose sleep on it though, we're not perfect. -Then why the encouragement to continue to go along with the separation of Hwayoung from the group? Why support and treat the possibilities that alleged "bullying" accusations are true? Why underrate the newest members without leaving enough room to prove themselves? Why must you create an inner conflict within yourself, in the first place? And here we reach the great slaughtering of my post. I never wanted Hwayoung to leave. I supported this girl from day one. Against people who didn't see the need for a new member. Against people saying she was a terrible rapper. Against people saying she was the downfall of the group. She's no longer in T-ara and it kills me. But if that's the route taken, I can do nothing about it. I've already voiced my view on the bullying situation multiple times. Not gonna bring that here as that wasn't the point of this topic nor any of my previous posts here. This thing about the new members came out of nowhere. While everyone was busy roasting them, doing them worse than they did Hwayoung, I'm one of few actually encouraging members to accept them. You wouldn't know anything about supporting other fans though, would you? Seems like all you do is instigate things. But yes this was great. I love supporting T-ara only to find someone come from left field and totally spin everything wrong. Dead it right there. IDK what sort of point you're trying to make. If you want to continue, I am available by PM. I'm sorry if my post rubbed you the wrong way. But as I stated, calling me an anti and then picking apart my post, you're stirring up something you shouldn't.
  11. Slow your role, keyboard warrior. Calling anybody an anti won't do you any good. Like I said, the silence did nobody any favors. That interview came out what, like last week sometime? Near two weeks of deafening silence from T-ara and guess what? The issue is still unresolved in the public's eyes. Don't be delusional, that interview solidified the bullying issue as unfortunate as it may be but bridges can be rebuilt. CCM pulled some miracles sweeping some crazy stuff under the rugs, but this is a hot issue and the media is hungry. The fans, rather I, just want all tension, if any, between the members to be squashed and things to go back to normal [one can hope, right?]. How's that for an "anti's" opinion. You think I enjoy T-ara going through this BS? As my favorite group by far, I've always held T-ara to a higher regard than other groups, and I will continue to do so.
  12. See that silence did nobody any favors. They not only paid the price with a halt in group activities but it pretty much trickles down to each member too. Why nobody lets the girls address the issue publically so everyone can move on, is beyond me.
  13. If this is of her own will, I support her decision. However if the show's producers are making her leave because of the potential bad publicity, that's pretty F-ed up. Honestly she should focus on music. Lol I'm tired of minialbums and repackages...we need a full, AFA/BH caliber album.
  14. Is anyone surprised? The girl was involved in a serious car accident. She must feel like absolute crap and her ramble about returning asap to filming was the pain meds lol. She's in a world of hurt, I just hope the doctors gave her the good stuff lol.
  15. That's a great way to burn them out and turn something they enjoy into something they despise. T-ara took a bit of momentum before they started getting noticed and getting more fans. The thing is CCM abandons most of their groups if they don't become successful right away. How such an established company does everything so wrong is beyond me.
  16. It's not just Soyeon hurting, it's T-ara. Within the past few weeks, we had one member terminated from the group, the remaining members torched by media and management, members risking their individual activities [EunSoHyo and their dramas], one member in a serious car accident and lost a decent percent of fans and the rest confused and frustrated. As someone who's more familiar with western music culture, an artist going on hiatus for months, years, even decade+ isn't so strange to me. So when the term "comeback" is used in Kpop for groups who released an album a few months before, I found that to be extremely ridiculous. With that being said now would be the time for T-ara to just ghost for a few months, maybe even a year. They need the break and management can use the time to reevaluate things for the better. Though it's nice, we don't need T-ara on stage 24/7. Us fan won't go anywhere or forget them. I originally posted this somewhere else, but found it more suited for this thread. However when I deleted the original post, I forgot to copy the message lol. I think I covered most of it.
  17. Hospitals generally ask to turn cellphones off. At least the one I work at does, there's a sign pretty much in every section. Not too much of a stretch to think it might even be against hospital policy to take photos. But that's just me rambling. No car crash is fun but it seems like it flipped onto the side and didn't fully roll over. So she has that to work with. However in the few times I've seen idols in vans, they usually don't have seat belts on. A neck and back injury is pretty serious so I hope she actually gets some decent time off. Another blessing is it looks likes she's conscious enough to rest her arm like that and she's not hooked up to monitor vitals. So it looks like the road for recovery for her. A bad sign would be if she was just sprawled out and hooked up to several machines. Peace of mind I guess for whoever reads this.
  18. It's probable that Hwayoung had a decent chunk in the new song....so I hope KKS had the courtesy to keep it in. It sounds like an upbeat song so I don't want her last song to be a sad one lol. Even if it makes all the stage performances a bit awkward.
  19. Good he's finally letting them go out for some fresh air and sunlight lol. Though it's one by one.
  20. Last I checked, any of the girls had the means to clear up the rumors themselves. Straight from the source. Instead they were kept unreasonably quiet by someone. Sure it happened over a period of a day or two but for us fans it felt like eternity to hear anything unravel about the situation. While we fans waited for clarification, netizens took this time to make their own conclusions out of the littlest of details, as some of us did too but time did nobody any favors. Even now I believe it's not totally resolved and honestly, much worse. KKS/CCM failed to address the issue in time and the damage is done. The people that paid the price in the end were T-ara, Hwayoung and their fans. Nobody else really cares. Even if they directly bullied Hwayoung and ostracized her, a simple and quick apology would've definitely left the good in a better state than what they are in now. KKS you dun f-ed up.
  21. Never doubt a bored or dedicated teenager. They have the immaturity and free time to conquer all lol. Spoken from personal experience, I've wreaked havoc when I was that age and would find myself regularly part of internet flame wars lol. Now I'm too old and tired for that stuff. I'll drop a tongue in cheek comment here and there.
  22. T-Jinyo has the right idea of getting the truth about the situation out. However it's unfortunate that it's mostly composed of casual Kpop fans who only joined in for the heck of it or to stir things up. It's a mob mentality. Join a cause just because. And such mentality has very poor followup. At this point IDC about the truth anymore, we won't ever get the full facts. As long as KKS has a hand over T-ara, anyway. Even long after T-ara is irrelevant they'll prob still have to keep it in secrecy. What does matter is that the girls are on good terms with one another.
  23. I don't blame netizens or the media too much as they were on the receiving end of info and took it as they wanted to. I point the blame at KKS. The whole point of management is to diffuse any issue the girls could run into as quickly as possible. The dude dragged it on for what felt like forever. He concentrated more on protecting the CCM name, revealing dirt on Hwayoung AND at the same time trying to "protect" her, and keeping the members of T-ara [Hwayoung included] as quiet as possible. He didn't spend one ounce of his effort to save T-ara. Now T-ara has to carry this incident with them for the rest of their careers. Korea doesn't forgive and Korea doesn't forget. It's mind boggling how many bad business moves this guy makes and still can be successful. Just the power of T-ara, I guess. Every one says it's the netizens, media or even the group members that let this become what it is. However the fans know where to point their fingers to.
