I couldn't agree any more with these three posts. At worst, I think fans should really start worrying about the possibility of T-ara taking AS or AKB-48's path. This is quite distressing really, adding in that they've been promoting far too much this year (possibly even more so than last year or at least in a comparable scale), it's just asking for another round of trips to the hospital.
Hell, they may be the most prone of all K-idol groups to hospital visits. Considering the current members are barely holding out with the amount of over-promotions, it makes no sense for someone twice as young as Boram and Qri to hold out any better.

Aite guys and girls, I just went through the whole vid (robbe_881 - thank you very much for providing the HD version ) and while I can't provide a full translation due to the length of the footage, I'll describe this out as best as I can (for those asking, I'm Korean here so the language is no barrier to me at all, though the music background could have been lower in audio so I may have not heard everything correctly - or maybe my speakers are just...well, ah whatever).
I really must say, I'm terribly sad to tell those who were expecting the girls to come forward regarding the scandal had expected too much. In fact, the first half of the video had nothing to do with 'confession' at all and was more set to their showcase in Malaysia.
When the group were altogether in the hotel room (after the ad break) where the subject regarding that mess was talked about, Hwayoung herself was not even directly mentioned and they were actually very, very vague as to what occurred and even then, spent a great deal of the second half of the show mostly talking about themselves and the group as a whole.
What Soyeon did however, admit (note - this has little to nothing to do with the scandal) is that way back in the BPBP days, the group was particularly starved and forced into something that may be seen as a severe diet up to the point that when other idols or singers that were their seniors (in terms of how long they were in the industry) usually left behind leftovers after performances, the girls actually grabbed as much as they could - particularly snacks and gimbap, shoved such food in their pockets and even ate them in the toilets to avoid getting caught.
That....is pretty darn nasty. When Areum says that what she's going through doesn't even amount to even one bit of what T-ara had to go through since debut, Soyeon then lets out that there were quite a lot of moments that the members cried.
Basically, the title of the show 'Confession' is rather quite misleading. In fact, none of the members look even willing to spill anything in detail at all - in other words, what exactly transpired. I'd even go to say it did little to nothing to actually contradict what antis, netizens believe.
And why? The most likely reason is that what they say is being filtered and monitored by a certain someone (no prizes to guessing who that is). CCM is part of Mnet Media itself (and Mnet Channel is the one broadcasting this) - there's no way they'd let anything in detail be told at all, no matter how much T-ara wants to speak out for themselves without internal consequences.
All in all, it's rather disappointing, even for me who didn't expect much out of it.

Edit: I also forgot to mention this - the members, Hyomin and Soyeon in particular, have said that they're worried for us fans as well. Whether if they actually know how divided the fandom has become or simply that they're concerned with the crap we had to pull over with from antis or netizens as a whole is debatable, as they were quite vague with this too.

Well, that's good for T-ARA but I don't really see the point of them handing the award over to Dani. Sure "encouragement" or whatever, but it isn't like she worked for that award~ I don't know, I guess it just annoys me a little bit. ^^;

MusicBank ban the girls from performing there today (I'm not sure if it for rest of T-ara's performance or just this).Although it make sense that they banned T-ara because one "incident" was said to have occurred there and they don't want any drama to happen again,I find it a complete BS for KBS to do that.We QUEEN'S are dying to see our girls and they cancelled it just like that.Besides,the whole "bullying evidences" was proved to be false and just merely from some stupid netizens a.k.a F.B.I who acted like they know everything.

I have been slayed by T-ara yet again. I was very on the fence about the hair colors, I was upset about the members, I was not being a good Queen's. But thes epictures exude everything I love about Eunjung, Hyomin, Jiyeon and T-ara. This concept, from these pictures, looks amazing. And even if the MV sucks, I am won over by the charisma that won me over in the first place.

I don't think this is a good move, though I'm not as incensed over Areum as I am over pedoparty Dani. That's because she's someone who has been training, who has been attending an art school and has been chosen for reasons, at least we can tell ourselves that. Dani was chosen for... being 12 years old and walking down the street.
People just now started accepting T-ara as a seven member unit. They just now started respecting Hwayoung once they saw her dedication and hard work. Hwayoung just now started receiving face time in their videos and performances, in fact she didn't even get much in the Japanese sapphire box thingy majig that was released. Areum and Dani are going to have to handle all of this, the pressure of being new, the awkward new choreography for their old songs, building a name and face for themselves within an established group, getting screen time. On top of all the regular work they already do. It's going to suck.
It's also going to suck to forever hear in youtube comments, in articles, in performances, in new updates, in airport photos, EVERYWHERE "I hate 9-ara go back to 7-ara/ Dani is talentless/ Areum is taking my bias time/etc" And we'll be hearing that for the rest of T-ara's career. This is a redefining of how people talk about them, it is a huge blow to their image. They won't just be T-ara, they'll be "That group that added a member then added two new members and one of them was 14". That does a lot, it will dissuade any new fans, it will disillusion any casual fans and it will be a burden on the fans that choose to sit back and attempt to give these girls a chance once we see that KKS is for real. Who wants to be a part of a split dramatic fandom? Not I.
My only course of action will be to hang on to my precious 7 and keep my eye on these two. I'll try to turn a blind eye to the destruction of the queen's and defamation they're going to receive but.. it might get tough.

Um. So basically he's saying that a child he found on the street has the vocal and charismatic ability to land herself into one of the current most popular girl groups in the business. He's saying T-ara's 5+ years of work is worth one pervy glance from an old man to a girl just walking along the sidewalk. She didn't audition. She didn't train. She didn't pursue a career in singing or entertaining. She was seen on the streets at 12 years old and approached by a man with tons of money who promised her fame and riches.
And we're supposed to respect her as a valuable member of T-ara? This is a joke and I'm not having it.

Isn't it unusual to scout someone from the STREET to an already established girl group? That seeing a child on the street made KKS think "HMM THIS GIRL IS WHAT T-ARA IS MISSING."
When you think about this, really think about it, it should dawn on everyone that Dani was recruited for nothing else except her age. If she had been a talented youtube cover singer, a model, a child actress, anything at all it would have at least been excusable. One could at least have speculated that KKS was putting thought into how he manages his top girl group. "Hey maybe this little girl shows great promise, maybe she's passionate about singing, maybe she's a good dancer, maybe her english speaking skills will take T-ara to the next level." But no. Knowing she was cast from the street at 12 years old and thrown into a 3 year old girl group just makes it obvious there was no thinking involved.
KKS literally took to the streets and picked up a random little girl, to show T-ara that he's their slave master and rub in in their face that he makes them. That their talents mean nothing. That they are his pawns and easily replaceable. He's despicable.
