[14.08.22] T-ara not yet decided on a title song.. Brave Brothers vs. Shinsadong Tiger


T-ara has confirmed their comeback to be for September 11th, but they are left in a urgent situation after they decided to reconsider which song to choose as their title track.
T-ara are moving forward with their comeback, but the title song is still not confirmed. They are in an emergency before their comeback schedules begin shortly.
They received two completely different styles of song as candidates for the title song - one with Brave Brothers and one with Shinsadong Tiger.
The Brave Brothers song is a unique dance track full of femininity. It has a fresh and exciting melody, but it comes with sad lyrics. The song could possibly be sexy and revealed exciting and emotional charms of T-ara. These types of songs have success in the long run on the chart.
On the other hand, the Shinsadong Tiger song is a little bit more risky. It has a heavy club-based sound followed by a powerful melody. T-ara's best-known song with Shinsadong Tiger is "Roly-Poly" which had a cute concept, but this song has a completely different color to it. Either way, T-ara wants to abandon their cute concept and show a more fierce side of them on stage.
Core Contents Media will gather opinions on the two songs before their full-fledged comeback begins in a few weeks. It'll be difficult to decide between either song because more and reportedly very good.
An official said, "It's a very unusual situation to be in. We will utilize the reaction to each concepts and carefully review which one will have a better outcome for T-ara."
Nonetheless, T-ara will still make their comeback on September 11th!

[14.06.27] Jiyeon will continue appearing in MBC’s “Triangle”!

Core Contents Media has just revealed to Asiae that Jiyeon will continue appearing in the upcoming episodes of MBC drama “Triangle”!
Jiyeon first appeared this week on episodes 15 and 16 with a very minimal role where she played the fiancee of ZE:A’s Siwan‘s character and following her appearance, “Triangle” was able to achieve it’s highest ratings yet! Jiyeon had quite a scandalous role and garnered a lot of attention when she went in for a kiss on Siwan.
Core Contents Media said, “The producers thought that Jiyeon’s appearance would be a good fit for the role. She will continue to appear in the upcoming episodes.”
“Triangle” airs on MBC every Monday and Tuesday. Despite it being a minimal role, it’s really a nice surprise to see Jiyeon has been cast in a drama again after two years!

I think the timing for this solo will be just nice. It's one and a half weeks after Jiyeon ends her solo promotions (19th June) which means more teasers would be coming right up at the end of this week. The fans and public won't need to wait too long for Hyomin's solo either, which is really good!
Right after Hyomin's solo promotions, I think T-ara will have a group comeback like what Jiyeon said! I guess if it's true, Hyomin would most probably talk about it in her interviews when time comes

[14.06.16] Hyomin to release “Nice Body” solo album on July 2nd.. D-16


Previously we had no updates on when Hyomin would be revealing her “Nice Body” solo album and music video, but Core Contents Media has finally revealed the date we’ve all been waiting for: July 2nd!
On July 2nd, Hyomin will release for digital download her “Nice Body” solo album as well as the music video for her first ever solo single. It wasn’t specified if “Nice Body” will be a mini-album format like Jiyeon’s solo album.
In addition to the release date, Core Contents Media unveiled one new teaser image which depicts Hyomin in a navy and white striped skin-tight outfit that makes her body – with a tiny waist and slender legs – look like a classic Coca Cola bottle.
Previously, we learned that the up-and-coming rapper Loco would be featured on the title track which is produced by Brave Brothers.

this is literally the hardest thing for me because JiYeon and Hyomin are my two favorites and HyoMin solo means JiYeon promos are done which would break my heart!! ahh!! hahaha

Awww what a sweetie Jiyeon is. Let's keep our fingers crossed for Hyomin's solo debut because that will also determine future plans for the girls as a whole and the other individual members. I'm imagining Boram and Qri might not have a solo album per se but they would get other forms of media exposure, or I might be wrong: they might indeed have solos. For Soyeon and Eunjung, I wouldn't have doubts that they will be the next in line, be it starring in a movie (Eunjung ) or a solo album. I am really looking forward to Soyeon's rumoured solo song, because I'm sure she'll nail it so hard with her vocals. Till then, 화이팅 티아라!

[14.06.14] Jiyeon, "Hyomin's solo album is the best; Hyomin's is better than my solo song"


Before her June 13th Music Bank performance, Jiyeon met with reporters at Edaily and discussed her solo and gave support to her unnie Hyomin who is also having a solo debut soon.
Jiyeon said, "I listened to Hyomin's song and watched her video choreography at the same time. As soon as I saw it, I realized it was the exact opposite style of mine. You can really see it in the teaser when it comes out (laughs). But the song and dance are really good and there's a lot of aspects to it that will make the performances fun."
Jiyeon continued to say, "The boss decided the songs and styles for each of us. For me, a Double Sidekick song, and a Brave Brothers song for Hyomin. We didn't change anything from the original plan." She also said, "Actually, Hyomin's song is better than my song. My song has a dreamy and calm atmosphere, while Hyomin's song is not like that and has a song that makes an atmosphere fun."
Finally, Jiyeon concluded by saying, "Hyomin looks really good in her rehearsals right now. Her stage costumes, hair, and make-up is all very nice. Her song will be released after I finish my promotions."
Jiyeon also revealed her hopes that T-ara can comeback in Korea within the year.

[14.06.14] Jiyeon, “My satisfaction towards my solo promotions is 50 out of 100″.



Jiyeon sat with TVDaily on the 13th to express her feelings towards her first solo promotions for ’1MIN1SEC’ coming to an end.

“Even though my solo promotions are already coming to an end next week, I was [really happy] to receive a lot of support and interest [from the public]. I’m happy because I’m able to finish my promotions in a good light,” Jiyeon said as she spoke with TVDaily before a music program broadcast.

“Because this is my first time [doing solo promotions], I’m going to give myself 50 points out of 100,” Jiyeon said after she was asked to rank her solo promotions. Additionally, she says, “In the event that I’m given another chance to do solo activities, I would like to be able to fill the remaining 50 points, [to deliver a perfect performance].”

“At first, it’s hard not to worry about [going solo]. As someone who normally performs in a group, doing activities alone like this can sometimes make you lonely,” Jiyeon says as she recalls her promotions when they first started, “But then, being inside the waiting rooms and being able to promote solo along with my other unnis (Jeon Hyosung, etc.) helped me get to know them better and become closer with them. Hanging out in the waiting rooms with them was a lot of fun.”

As Jiyeon’s solo promotions comes to an end, she tells us that T-ara is working on their comeback. “We’re currently learning Chinese during our downtime,” she says, “Since we are preparing to promote [there as well], we want to equip ourselves with the basics so we can learn more about China. We’re also learning how to ride skateboards (?) for exercise.”
