@ Scatter... Again a logical comment there. Rather than throwing words all over the place, your comments has substance awlays. RESPECT here. I definatly gave some thoughts about your comment and I had second thoughts bt after after reading Emperor Ryu comments, I would like to stick to my own thoughts. The thing is, your comment and my comment both are hyoothetical. We got news from same site bt ended up making different conclusions coz we have different opinion n thoughts. Well, all the reason you gave arelogicak bt at the same time, they are hypothetical. For eg. Lets say those ppl were there to hangout n suddenly T-ara performed so they stoped by to see their performance. May be yeah. In thise case they are not fans bt jst casual viewers bt how much of that is true?? Well cant it be this way as well. They were waiting for T-ara to perfrom so they went to shopping in the first place. Agiain this may be the case as well so as long as there is MAY BE n when things are not sure.. I would like to stick to my own opinion.
@Emperor Ryu... Yeah, we definately have same thoughts, almost. When I saw your comment last time it impressed me n its no expectation today as well.. Its feel good to see that fellow Queen's believe in T-ara as much I do,may be more n we share same opinion about T-ara n being a fan. Cheers!!

We all started being fans when hearing their songs for the very first time. No different than those in that picture, who stopped what their were originally doing, and taking notice of the girls. We became fans, because we enjoy their music, their dancing, and other talents. It is not delusional in anyway to assume they hated it, because if that were true, they would continue on with what they were originally doing, and ignore the girls. But as the picture is shown, that is not the case, so it would be truthfully delusional to assume they hate the girls and are not fans. Also, I don't see how your perspective on things match to those people in the picture when they clearly are not. Here's the thing for all those people who end up listening to an entire song and then come to the conclusion that they didn't like, when normally it takes a few seconds to at the most two thirds through the song, to be able to determine whether or not the song passes. If we're talking about different degrees of liking and disliking, there's no measure to prove in the report of such in the first place, and it's quite speculative and uncertain to assume that. Because it leaves room for either like or dislike to be present in such evaluations. Thus leaving those people with a twisted sense of indecisiveness between being a fan or not. There are times when a person who listened to the song for the first time, end up give it a few more tries to be better acquainted with it, and then end up liking it. Ergo, a fan.
This site is not the only one online that accommodates T-ara, and rest assured there are many fans around the world who don't have the time to spazz online, but do enjoy listening to their music from time to time. For example, 2NE1 currently has over 10 times the amount of international fans compared to the amount back in South Korea, logically, there are way more people living outside South Korea. So again, to assume there are more fans in South Korea than our countries, is quite idiotic.
In a word, "Internet". Not very hard to catch up for new people joining the fandom.

Could be both. I find it even more strange that there are people in the fandom who just complain, and complain, and just complain some more, and offer no freakin' real "positive" solutions when a problem arises.

I do wonder sometimes, are the things we are seeing "in between the lines", really what it is, or just figments of the imagination? A better question to ask is, "Where's the proof?" So if someone chooses to remain a truly, unintelligent, half-baked, delusional idiot with no proof whatsoever who likes to sucker others into a personal, pessimistic dogma of Hell, then it is that person's own fault for getting into a losing argument, to begin with. So, the way I see it is based on the pictures where we can clearly see people/audience being very attentive to the girls. How can those pictures be interpreted as haters? If they were, shouldn't they be protesting quite physically in those images, holding up signs of hate toward the girls, and possibly throwing things at them, or inexplicably just walking and not paying any attention to the event that's happening nearby?

That's a pessimistic mental guess with no proof of that in the pictures. As Eunjung4eva said, if they didn't like it, they won't be hanging around. Since those people decided to stay and offer their attention to the girls, it would mean they are fans, or becoming fans. But there's a chance that they can pick up where they left off from the performance and continue on being a fan. We've all heard about some fans who didn't join earlier, and missed out on some of the things other fans got to experience. But that doesn't make them any less, even though they continue on with their responsibilities in their daily lives.
As for the media perspective, that is up to the reader/watcher/listener to decide which to believe, whether it be like a conspiracy theorists radio broadcasting and/or a warmongering news. And come to think of it, there are no news outlets that take a truly neutral position on issues, because they're all out to make money too with the headlines that get people's attention, right? It is common sense for a reasonable person to read about "all sides" and draw on their own conclusions. Not just stick to one side just because the other is the enemy. Heck, even in the media world, they take into account of each other and even go as far as to analyze the reporting. Which brings us back to square 1. Sure, every artist in a foreign country are visitors, whether it be on vacation, on business, or meeting up with friends and/or family, while the local people are the hosts. But that doesn't make the girls any less, nor does it make the locals haters. We all started somewhere to become a fan, and sometimes, it can be from these events, whether they be unexpected or anticipated from location to location.
Given the successes T-ara had and continues to have in Japan, doesn't make them any less from their J-Pop counterparts who share the same entertainment business. With the internet, things are becoming more global, and all artists are working together to perform on the world stage now. If some people in South Korea purchased their newest album, does that mean the girls lost their fans back home? No. If a fan who became an anti-fan, and then later on, repented, and returned to being a fan again, does that mean it's a lost cause for the girls? No. Again, "A fan is a fan."

@Scatter.. No offence to you mate, just wondering why I have never seen you happy or excited when T-ara achieve something or when news about their achievement is released. Yeah, for sure everyone who dropped by to watch T-ara's performance may not be fans or say J-Queen's bt in my opinion, if they werent fan or had no interest in T-ara, I suppose they wouldnt be there to see them. Well its just a waste of time according to me. I mean, why even bother to see the performance of those groups when you dont like them??
About the boost in their famdom, well they had the biggest controversy n the biggest publicity in 2012. Its cant be denied that they lost trust from Korean n no. Of K-Queen's decreased but it also cant be denied that new Queen's added too. If you look at the no. Of members that joined during August or Later than you will know many people became Queen's in Diadem alone, let alone worldwide. I dont find T-ara's fandom have boost in numbers STRANGE at all coz I am one of those member who accepted the Name Queen's during Bullying Contoversy.
@ Emperor Ryu.. I think we have same feeling towards T-ara n our defination of fan n being fan is almost same. At least comment wise or may be emotionally as well...

Regardless, if a person stops in their tracks to watch and listen to the girls, and take into consideration of their talents and like it, automatically, that person is a fan.
A fan is a fan, and the international numbers are quite large in comparison.
    Visitors can become fans too.

I remember Choi Jin Sil passing. Good actress, I was told. She has 2 kids, if I remember what I was told.
Having a good reason to react is one thing, but having a photo-shopped, edited, fabricated bunch of evidence is certainly not cutting it, especially when it comes to assuming what is happening behind the walls of Core Contents Media, as if they witnessed the events when in fact they did not, and never is this lame excuse on the machines worth going head over heels on either. I've asked for this before, if such claiming accusations are true about the management breaking any laws and abusing their employees, get a police investigation going. No amount of torment, let alone blackmail, for that long, is going to stop a victim who finally stands up and says, "That's enough!". Since none of the members did that, how do these antis expect anyone to take their claims seriously?
The judicial system is not just there to serve the public, but to be that example to uphold and teach that truth and justice is what assures peace and stability in the community. Not going around the internet like some digital lynch mob with an idiotic, misplaced, egotistical assumptions. If hatred is a door that swings both ways, and forgiveness is the means to stop it swinging, than the antis are the ones who want this hellish atmosphere to continue coming in and going out, even after the company and the girls apologized and took responsibility for their very own actions. Did the antis respond in kind? No. they dismissed it. Isn't it wise to say that things get moving in the right direction with a kind word, rather than a bad one? Being silent only lingers on as nothingness, nor accomplishing any sort of progression for their careers, and with technology currently, such recorded pains will definitely not be forgotten any time soon. T-ara and Core Contents Media are trying to give reasons to like them, but as those fabricated evidence are what makes it logical that these antis have no justification for their voice and that they truly are hating for no good reason at all. The antis have to back off, or they get rolled over by their own vindictiveness and live the rest of their lives finally realizing that they missed opportunities to make things better.

This is starting to get childish to continue this sophismata that Core Contents Media did the ads knowing that they were going to use for gambling, when to the contrary they did not do it for that reason, in the first place. Sure, the machine is known for being used in gambling purposes since the 1980s, but that doesn't mean the company was going to do the job because they wanted to be part of it. That's spitefully presumptuous. Especially when the fault of using them for gambling purposes are the gamblers, not Core Contents Media, nor T-ara.
Reality check here, . . . so playing cards, also known for being used for gambling, the federal government of the U.S. decided to place the most wanted Al-Qaeda members on it, a few years ago, so does that mean the U.S. military and law enforcement agencies endorsed gambling as part of its policies, rather than to inform the public to be on the look out for them? The Pachinko machine is originally a child's toy, and still used for sanctioned recreational arcade games. I even heard there are PlayStation console versions.
I'm starting to think the antis/netizens are trying to pull the Kamilias into this civil war we're still in amongst the fandom, right now. I'm very positive to believe the Kamilias realize the utter futility of this insulting gesture to start ranting like a bunch of idiots. Understanding the Kamilias, they'll apathetically decline their tasteless invitation.
Companies, including Core Contents Media, all struggle through challenges, and definitely SM Entertainment, J.Y.P. Entertainment, YG Entertainment, and many more, all have their difficult times to overcome. When these circumstances occur, it falls on everybody to decide whether to be supportive, turning into a lynch mob member, or be indecisive and do nothing. I rather be supportive of the girls and the company they're employees of, because I know well enough about these difficult times, even when the employees start murdering, literally.

Yes, but that was back then, January of 2011, if I remember correctly, and I doubt he's in a position to hold a grudge now, nor does he have any influence over the Kamilias to forsake the girls. During that time, I was surprised to hear that from him, but I didn't believe he was being an extremist about it, and still don't, because it felt like to me that he's a die hard Kamilia himself, who just took it things differently. Yeah, I know about the whole requesting to ban the 3 members from the industry, after Hara joined Gyuri. But still yet, it was not really the 3 members' fault, it was Landmark's problem with the administration under Lee Ho Yeon's wife after he was hospitalized and had to go to surgery, if I recall. Kim Kwang Soo is on the outside of DSP Media's walls and didn't have the full info on what was going on inside of it. He's like the rest of us, therefore, I didn't take his comments seriously, and only as his feelings being expressed, that's it. If anyone believes to presume he has any say in DSP Media, is downright outlandish and easily dismissive by others. I believe he knows this already and understood what happened soon after. No doubt relieved that Nicole, Seungyeon, and Jiyoung were about to reestablish themselves with little or no backlashes about it. He's passionate about K-Pop, no different than the rest of us. He has shown that he's capable of change too and quite responsibly apologetic and forgiving. So I doubt he's holding a grudge against Kara for mentioning them on the machines. It was more or less likely to point out other artists whom participated in the same fashion to better relate with them and state they're still part of the Hallyu Wave, rather than endeavoring to be the 1st group to do something new in a venue in Japan. I would dare to even say the company, in a way, is calling for support from the Kamilias and fans of the actors through the Pachinko.
Don't forget that Southeast Asia Tour offer that Core Contents Media has still yet to counter-propose on, to allow the Japanese activities to move on firstly. I believe they'll do some promotions here and there in Korea, as a reminder that they're still in the top echelon of idols, and still able to perform on stage there as well. I still hope and believe that having Hwayoung rejoin the group will improve the group's current circumstances greatly, given just how many people in Korea and the rest of the world wanted her back with them so badly back then, and even now. I sincerely hope the group will be able to venture and perform in other countries around the world as well.
I found it completely idiotic to find out that some of those antis/netizens actually believed that by destroying the company will allow the girls to have more break time, without realizing that this is their "careers", their very livelihoods, not to mention their legacy, as if changing jobs is as easy as flipping a coin in the air all the time. If majority of the fandom are indeed underage workers who believe in such a thing, than they'll learn it the hard way when they do become of age to work. Hopefully they won't have to, depending on how capable they are in their respective companies and their business is able to thrive and survive the ever changing markets.

I understand. But please remember, the netizens blow every stupid thing out of proportion. The real problem is South Korea's obsession with internet culture, and the cowards in charge who drop sponsorships when bad comments start spreading. I was sad too when one of my favorite Korean actresses took her own life over netizen rumors. And I was disgusted by the lack of support the industry gave her when the rumors were spreading. I left all Kpop for over 3 years, only coming back because of T-ara and 'Roly Poly'.Just remember their success in Japan and overseas. The South Korean entertainment industry has always had these problems, and T-ara knows this. As they've said in interviews, I think most of their sadness is from disappointment in themselves with those tweets, not from netizen comments. Remember their new President is even a fan, and that is certainly a good sign that normal people don't think T-ara represents evil!

lol I know what you mean, but who's saying they do everything right? They screw up more than any company I can think of. But then again, I can't think of any company that's been put in the position they're in now. And through hindsight, many now blame CCM for not predicting this idiotic controversy. And it's only hypocritical if they are equivalent, but to most South Koreans who know the culture differences between Japan and Korea, they are not. Isn't this all about what T-ara's homeland thinks of them? Some of the biggest stars of the Hallyu Wave (Winter Sonata, Dae Jang Geum, KARA) all had pachinko deals in Japan, and netizens said nothing. Even Goo Hara actually had a soju ad, and there was no backlash. This further proves netizens are creating an illusion of what is acceptable behavior for an idol, simply to bash T-ara. So if the statement is not hypocritical, why should CCM be blamed for it?
I for one hope CCM continues to release statements which anger netizens, all while T-ara is invited to more events and gathers more public supporters (which is happening right now). More and more people will see how deranged the netizens are, and maybe it will set an example to the industry and diminish netizen influence (not likely, but I can hope).

Yep, it's a double standard. I'm shocked so many people are actually convinced by the netizens that the pachinko deal in Japan is equivalent to the alcohol promotion.I keep seeing the statement meant they wanted to appeal to all ages. Since when? They said they didn't want to contribute to the youth drinking culture, since drinking is a big deal in South Korea.
However, pachinko is not a big deal in South Korea, and is very mainstream in Japan, so how does the pachinko thing in Japan contradict their statement of not wanting to contribute to the South Korean youth drinking culture?
Who cares about the statement? Netizens are telling us to care, and apparently some are listening to them. Even Korean news is saying it's not the same since it's a different culture. If normal Koreans are saying they're not the same thing, we are seriously going to contradict them?

Emperor Ryu got a reaction from @Eunjung4eva in [12.12.18] T-ara deny exceptional offer for alcohol CF deal so they can keep image of appealing to all ages
Underage alcoholic drinking is something that is discouraged, not encouraged.
SNSD has discussed alcoholic usage amongst them already on talk shows, if I am not mistaken. Recently this year, J.Y.P. informed us all that 2 of the members, Yenny and Yubin, of the Wonder Girls, are his drinking buddies. 2NE1's CL did a CF for Cass Beer with Lee Dong Wook. As long as the fandom realizes that they are of age to consume alcohol, it doesn't mean those who are underage should do the same. Best to remind them to wait until they are of age, then they can start drinking responsibly, or not drink at all.
I believe by now, they have a good understanding just who are trying to end their careers, and who are supporting them back home. A great many things, if not everything that is directly tied to business as a whole, are part of public relations. It's the message they are trying to convey which should reflect in what they are doing in service to the public that makes the difference. Knowing full well that they are going to have an underage member joining them soon, it makes perfect sense that they are currently not qualified to be part of this advertisement.
Correction here, we're currently living in an era when everything is getting connected to one another with people thinking more globally than before. Since K-Pop has gone "global", such news about T-ara is going to cycle through the media, whether it be on t.v., telecommunications, and/or online, which is no different when the world watches artists from the U.S. on their habits and controversies. They are still people in Korea who support them very much, as fans throughout the world. Since no bullying was found, it's pretty clear the only issue that needs addressing is what T-ara is going to do next to continue onward, like Hwayoung rejoining them.
Idols are much more than manufactured products. People without humanity do not care for others at all, which is no different than a psychopath and a lunatic on a murderous rampage.
Until there's proof that it is scripted, one can't simply claim that it is to begin with. Either archive what they say and do and understand what they're trying to do, or don't believe the hype and just step back away from it all and let go.
There was no proof that the show was suppose to be about that incident at all, just because of the title. It won't make sense though, because they already explained it in Kim Kwang Soo's Interview, Soyeon's Interview, Hawyoung's Tweets, and the T-ara's Handwritten Letter. And as I recall, not that many hoped for it from here. We can all see for ourselves that a majority were commenting just how terrible the antis'/netiziens' reactions to this, right here. So no, that is wrong already.
Scared, or trying to be mature about it? Since it was quite personal for them, naturally, they won't want to talk about it, since enough of it has been discussed, explained, and even apologized for by all of them, including Hwayoung herself, and Kim Kwang Soo. I think what some people missed in the show is the human nature to strive even harder so they won't make that mistake again. It has been already covered that every job, even a C.E.O. of a company can be fired. Again, that is completely rhetorical to go by that perspective. That show sort of reminded me how Hyomin didn't want to even talk about Jiwon and Jiae leaving the group back then. I can understand they went through a lot this year, and for those who don't believe in their explanations and their apologizes, that's too bad for them then.
Still would like to see payroll documentations and copies of their paychecks to confirm that.
If overseas promotions was not healthy, when actually they are healthy, even for the fans around the world, why expand globally then? Whose to say that isn't the only business perspective that Core Contents Media currently sees? Remember, they are not naive, especially when this is not the only huge money offer that they had turned down before. If they were so money tight on their finances, they would've jumped on every single huge offer they got, but no, they did not. So clearly, that perspective is not valid enough to consider.
As a fan, I'll include them along with "T-ara" too, as well as other groups that show potential.
And there are times when there's no plausible reason to be skeptical on, when the obvious is practically truth.
Not believing in the truth being told is already delusional and anti-socialable.
Considering the state they are in with certain fans, it is quite understandable why they did it in the first place, at the time.
Obviously, this piece of news makes the group image much more better.
I'm sure if the company were in financial troubles, the company could've allowed only certain members of T-ara in a counter-proposal, who are of drinking age, to participate and accept the revised deal. But since they did not, there's really no need to assume that the company is facing such problems at this time.
It would be much more satisfactory to have proof of such allegations, rather than guessing how bad things are. God knows, we can imagine all kinds of terrible things in literally everything. If one wants to go to Hell, that person should go it alone and not drag others along who are innocent and able to redeem themselves.
Since when was confessing to fans is a bad thing, whether it be in a show, on their CDs, music videos, in the media, online? I don't see a problem in being current with their fans and acknowledging all of the fans' support here. I believe the company looks down on illogical, whimsical, unproven, falsified, claiming opinions as if though that person was an employee of Core Contents Media, when in fact, he/she is not. As noted in previous reports back then, like that dancer.
Criticizing hatefully is what I believe @Eunjung4eva is touching on. Pointing out the faults is one thing, but adding that emotional content does in a way invalid the very nature of being a critic. One can give a thumbs down while respecting the attempt without the hubristic need to brag about it. If per se one person did something wrong and another person understood why and says something in defense for it, can it be correctly perceived as a straight out lie, or a matter of honor and duty, or even perhaps both? Does the intrinsically value truly favor a polarized position on the matter? It will always fall upon one's own belief and actions, and truly, no one can say that the company lies all the time, nor state allegations as fact, unless there is proof that is brought into the light. Surely entire organizations fall from making so many mistakes, much like criminal organizations, but is Core Contents Media that corrupt? Where is the proof of this? So far, none have come forth, nor an investigation. Which concludes that such apparatuses to be null and voidable. And one of the key difference between a soldier and an idol, . . . an idol's primary job is not to fight in wars.

If I am not mistaken, this pachinko and t-ara thing is not new. I have heard about it before.
Yes, i agree that advertising gambling machines is not good but the fact that they rejected an alcohol cf is something good rite? Hypocrites or wad. They still did something good. I am sure other artists, actors or anyone would take up both gambling and alcohol which are bad without getting any hate from netizens. Anything T-ara do, they will bash, bash and bash.
Some of the comments made by netizens are really harsh. I remember feeling very sad when i read those comments. But now, no Maybe i have had enough for the past few months to the extent that i no longer feel sad now. I will only continue to support them.
    T-ara fighting!

I believe that Kim Kwang Soo is doing his very best to help promote the girls in different venues in Japan, and Core Contents Media is helping the girls prepare for their coming promotions in Japan next year. So there might be more endorsements the girls had done along with this project already. The girls will overcome all of these hating and spiteful comments, including those wanting to end their careers by breaking away from their company, which would completely destroy everything they've worked hard and accomplished thus far in their very lives, and we won't get any sort of comeback in "years!".
As for the Kara mentioning, I do not believe there's an existing rift between both companies, especially when both group idols are friendly towards each other, even going back to the good old Invincible Youth Season 1 days. Probably mentioned them for safety reasons rather than an attacking one.

Honestly I don't think it's ccm's fault this time, they probably didn't foresee this coming...but I'm really sick and tired of netizens bashing t-ara for everything xxxxing thing, pardon my language. I hate having to see hate comments about t-ara all the time...
Note: I can't stand how some fans keep on saying that they 'don't know how t-ara will recover from all this'. Honestly. As long as we support them, what's there to fear? Don't you guys have faith in our girls? Cos I definitely do.

This I agree with wholeheartedly. We can all look here to see what the machine is about. Please note that the article specifically stated that Core Contents Media "did not" do the ads under the pretense that it'll be used for gambling. So most likely these machines will be in arcades where the balls are exchanged for toy prizes than money. If these machines end up in gambling places, it's certainly not Core Contents Media's, nor the girls' fault, but the fault of those who took advantage of said machines.

I disagree with the opinion that this is CCM/KKS's fault. As much as I dislike T-ara's management at times, I don't place blame on them for every little thing the netizens complain about.
If the netizens were silent, and T-ara made a ton of money from this, I doubt most people would be objecting to CCM choosing this endorsement. This pachinko news was actually spread on Twitter more than a month ago, and no one said anything negative. So netizens now influence our opinion of right and wrong? So CCM should plan every move around what may potentially be criticized by netizens? Sounds like that's giving them more power, not a great idea to me.
I know very well the bad that can come from gambling and how it's viewed in Korea, yet I have no problem with this endorsement whatsoever. I don't think pachinko is the greatest evil on earth. I literally laughed when I saw netizens were actually trying to create an issue out of this.
Who cares what the netizens say? It's a bunch of losers competing for the most 'liked' comment. A Queen's on Twitter is even reporting the majority of Korean news is siding against the netizens on this issue. T-ara is making public appearances, has a Presidential endorsement, so maybe this isn't worth getting excited about.

Emperor Ryu got a reaction from Alviss Lim in [12.11.16] Eunjung "Want to forget it all. Please withdraw the sanctions against Five Fingers' Production Company"
Ah, yes, redemption comes in many forms, and this is one of them, even though the punishment, in a way, fits the injustice done on Eunjung and her career. I can still remember how so many antis wanted her off this program, and successfully managed to convince them to terminate her contract for something that wasn't even directly related to them. I'm not certain how the lawsuit is progressing now, although it could be just only that which punishes that particular company. If she did request the lawsuit to be withdrawn, she is even more lenient and forgiving than I anticipated. I admire that, and hope that company learns well of their own consequences of their actions. The next time, if they unwisely repeat this mistake again, the punishment will be quite severe and long-lasting. The association will continue to keep tabs on that company, let alone any other company that tries to do the same thing, from now on. Hopefully, things will get better for everybody involved in this, and Eunjung continues onward with her acting career, despite the misfortune.
