sleepystudent reacted to kkyc222 in [12.10.24] Director Cha EunTaek speaks about T-ara & Eunjung
[12.10.08] Director Cha Euntaek talks about T-ara & Eunjung in an interview with News 2 Day

"The T-ara incident made me detest even more the way Korean society does not tell right from wrong"
Reporter: Recently, you've supported Eunjung through twitter and this became a hot topic. You didn't expect that right? What are your thoughts about the T-ara incident?
In response to the question that the reporter asked mindfully, Director Cha Euntaek surprisingly gave a calm and sharp response. Because of his message of support to Eunjung, Director Cha was also criticised by some netizens. Director Cha was the director for T-ara's MV's like Lovey Dovey, and so have known Eunjung for a long time. He understands Eunjung more than anybody else and truly feels sad and worried about Eunjung.
"Although my message wasn't left simply without thought nor was it left simply just to cheer her on, it still represented my worry and care for her. When she knew that she was casted for "Five Fingers", you wouldn't know how happy she was and how hard she worked in preparation. If I was a member of T-ara, I might have hidden away somewhere because of the pain. T-ara being ostracised by the public, this has made me really detest Korean society. I really detest those who, after someone's mistake, add insult to injury without first determining right from wrong. To be honest, I thought "Should I gamble my career in the entertainment industry and just say it all [and argue]? Just say it all on twitter?" I was really angry at the time."
"I've watched them grow since the T-ara members were still trainees. They are kids who have worked hard to become singers, and I was really hurt to see them criticised like that. Eunjung's message on twitter was actually really simple and pure. They cannot go out and play like other teenagers, but have to practise with all their might, running around to complete their activities. They cannot live like other kids of the same age, but are constrained by their work. They are kids who are more simple and pure than others of their age."
"At the time, I was really very upset. To see how the public, without understanding the circumstances, became so sure that there must have been bullying between them. I don't understand, there have been incidents in the past that were much worse, idols who have done illegal things, but why only treat T-ara with such harshness?"
About how his message of support for Eunjung caused a stir amongst netizens, Director Cha said: "Although we should criticise acts that are wrong, but to see people carelessly criticise and condemn acts that are right simply because of their own subjectivity and bias, I really could not carrying on living pretending that I did not see this in our society."
"Eunjung ah, you have to live with strength"
"I always talk with Eunjung, and she told me 'Because of Director-nim, I've gained a lot of strength." She cannot clarify everything that has happened, simply for the reason that they are all very close. In reality, their relationship is not what outsiders have portrayed it to be like, and they do not want each other to be criticised or blamed because of themselves. Because of this incident, they really cried a lot. I really can't bear to see them cry like that. I tried to find ways to comfort them, but I couldn't come up with any good ways but to say to them to live with strength. After Eunjung was forced out of "Five Fingers" I had once worried that she would do something stupid."

Really hoping that those people would just drop it already...
Right now, I don't care what the Korean netizens think or say anymore. Like what Bender would say "they can just kiss my shiny metal a**!"

I guess the saying "all talk and no action" is what T-JinYo really is.
They only talk big online, but when it comes down to offline, they can't even do shat~
The fact that most of its members are teenagers makes me think that T-JinYo is just a bunch of anti, depressing, loserville of emo kids that gather together with the purpose of making themselves feel good and have a sense of community by bashing T-ara.
I highly doubt it's due to lack of preparation, more like they don't want the general population to know who they are, therefore these suppose boycott and protest will never go through.
Sorry if it seems like I dislike T-JinYo, but from what I'm gathering, T-JinYo is a anti-T-ara group right? Or am I wrong?

Honestly I'm not one of the 'all' you're talking about. When i first heard the news, I refused to believe it.
Or rather I thought it was rather ridiculous. Sure, I might be a blind fan but I mean, there was no actual solid proof that it had really happen. It might, it might not. But we'll never know. It's only for T-ara, Hwayoung and CCM to know and for us to never find out.
"why do we speak so badly about others." -- I guess I haven't been on in a while, but are you saying that there were some of us who spoke badly of T-ara? Well, I'm not surprised. Everyone has their own opinions, and it's very unfortunate that there are people who don't use their common sense (or their brains for that matter) to actually look at it instead of believing everything the media throws at them.
These netizens don't realize that what they are doing is also considered bullying. But meh, what can you do with immature, hot-headed, arrogant netizens? It's just one ear and out the other for them.
This news if very unfortunate. It seems T-ara will not be remembered for their awesome music but the fact that they were involved in a bully controversy

sleepystudent reacted to maknae23 in [SPAZZ] Rant your frustrations
Again, I was trying VERY VERY VERY hard not to post anything regarding this nonsensical twitter war but I just can't. Before I start my rant, I would like to say sorry if I were to spew out foul words or inappropriate language and yeah I'm willing to accept some warning points. I just want to speak out whatever that's on my mind for these past few days and I'll be glad if I can get all these rubbish off my chest.
Are you angry? Confused? Disappointed? Speechless? Clueless? Don't worry, I am too and I'm sure a lot of Queen's are sharing the same feeling. When you woke up on the 30th, you couldn't believe your eyes when you saw the headlines that Hwayoung will be "kicked" out from T-ara? Yes, I couldn't believe it either. As I reminisced back what I thought the announcement will be i.e KKS getting married to Qri, Soyeon/Qri/Boram getting married, Ji and Hwa doing subunits or Qri being the leader, I can't help but laugh at myself for my idiocy, stupidity and naivety. So much for being positive thinking and this is what I get from the person who claimed that he has the Midas touch or whatsoever, the brilliant KKS.
So after reading that freaking "announcement" and all the obvious rubbish evidence, I was thinking whose side should I take? Hwayoung? T-ara? or should I believe in whatever sh!t that was given by KKS/CCM? I don't know. But trust whoever you wanna believe in. I know I am in no place to say this as I've known T-ara for only about 6 months while some of you followed them since debut. Yes, call me bias, call me delusional and call me a stupid fan but I believe in T-ara. I'm not saying that T-ara is not at fault and are completely innocent but till now, I have no idea how the bullying issue started with a small harmless (at least for me) tweet and ended up in a term called bullying. What is bullying then? Does tweeting something as an encouragement/advice (at least for me it is) amounts to bullying? I don't know.
Before I get some hate for my comments, I'm not going to say whose fault it is as I will never ever know the truth behind what's going on. Blame it on Hwayoung, blame it on KKS or blame it on T-ara itself, it's all up to you. What I wanted to say is I am very confused and a little bit disappointed. What happened to those laughter, those hugging and those smiles when T-ara was with Hwayoung? Were those interactions purely for entertainment purpose? Were they really faking those moments together? Did Jiyeon mean it when she was "insulting" Hwayoung in SLT? Whatever it is, I can conclude that all of them deserve the award for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actresses.
It's no doubt that all these have taken its toll on T-ara and its members especially EunJiMin. Things will never ever be the same again. It's such a pity. In a blink of an eye, the tears, sweat and blood for the past 3 years just went down the drain. People start giving you malicious comments which pierced your heart even as a fan. If I as a casual fan (crazy will be more appropriate) feel the hurt from these comments, I can't even imagine how would it feel to be the person receiving them. I hope that T-ara and Hwayoung will be strong enough to overcome this unfortunate event and I hope that they won't do anything stupid.
I am still blinded by the "fact" that T-ara did not bully Hwayoung. Shoved me with some blatant evidence and I still wouldn't believe it. I like T-ara for their music and I love T-ara for the members. I will always do. Thank you for reading and I shall end my rant here. Feel free to post your rant, I like to read essays.
If anyone of you would like to sell their T-ara collections, feel free to PM me. I'll consider the price. Please don't burn those cds cause you will be contributing to the addition of greenhouse gases in the air. T-ara love.

I'm not saying I completely believe the article, but it does bring to light a bit on why T-ara members were tweeting about determination. And Hwayoung saying that alone is not enough.
So if I look at the article, and the tweets, I'm guessing maybe T-ara and/or staff wanted Hwayoung to perform even though she was injured. So the conflict might of been about that?
If so, then this isn't really them bullying her, but having a fight/disagreement. Because it's T-ara (except Qri) vs Hwayoung, it looks like they're bullying her. My point is that I still don't think T-ara ever bullied Hwayoung....I just can't see it.
About Hwayoung acting like a top star...I just can't see that either. Who's wrong...who's right, I won't make any judgement now, and will still continue to support them both. But....this is really turning ugly.
