  1. Nope, but Hyoyoung did. She tweeted a message simply saying that Hwayoung will not respond any further as it would put both sisters at risk. Believe what you want, but KKS is infamous for digging up dirt on his trainees, his active idols, and his retired ones. A lot of people think that Jiyeon's webcam scandal was orchestrated by KKS himself to keep her in line as she had been acting out. He probably does have dirt on Hwayoung, and more than likely Hyoyoung as well. It's a sad, sick situation. Furthermore, now there are reports surfacing that T-ara didn't even know that Hwayoung was to be removed from the group...that it was, in fact, a wake up call to the members that not only could he take any of the other girls out at will, he would do so without their prior knowledge. The man is lying through his teeth right now about so many things that it's really hard to know what's fact and what's fiction with him.
  2. Honestly, and I hate to anger Hwayoung fans, but this whole story fits together much better than any bullying theory I've seen so far. It's still far-fetched since it seems so out of character for Hwayoung, though...but who knows. All I know is that Hyomin LIVES for the stage. Had she known in advance that she was going to have to do Hwa's rap she would've had that sh!t memorized and ready to go, because she's a whore for the spotlight. That she not only had to use cue cards to get through the rap but messed it up (poor dear seems to be having a time with on-stage gaffes lately) tells me that something wasn't right.
  3. ALSO keep in mind that the article states she normally displayed this kind of behavior, if this article is to be believed. In other words, this was not a one-shot temper tantrum. She made a normal habit out of acting like a diva. If, BIG if this article is actually based in some sort of truth. Who knows at this point.
  4. People trying to deify Hwayoung should probably stop. Supposedly there's an article being translated right now by Diadem that's probably not going to cast Hwayoung in the most sympathetic light. Not saying her expulsion from the group is justified by any means, but it may be time to stop ranting and just wait to see if we actually do find anything else out.
  5. That's fine. You've chosen to believe what you want, and there's no point in trying to convince you otherwise. Go right ahead and go if that's what you want to do. Nobody's stopping you. You know where AKP's at, you'll fit right in there with that mentality.
  6. Screw it, I'm already crying...and I'm a grown man lol. I didn't want it to be like this, not at all. I wanted them to come to an agreement and stick it out. I love you Hwayoung, and I hope you find success wherever you go. You deserve it, you've pretty much been the star of the Day By Day era.
  7. It's all but translated at this point. According to the source it was stated that there was no bullying taking place, nor did Hwayoung feel like an outcast. It was a mutual agreement on both parties. Take from that what you will.
  8. I never said there wasn't a way to do it, but really, is it that important? Hwayoung is gone. This is what we all feared would happen, and it happened. This is a dark day for T-ara and its fandom.
  9. Hwayoung has been released from her contract. She is no longer a member of T-ara.
  10. That's not evidence though, that's stuff that can look wrong when presented in the wrong context. I saw ALL of those instances in their original context, and not ONCE did I ever think "Hmmm, Hwayoung sure does seem to be getting a lot of flack from the others." This is a case of a few people having entirely too much time on their hands and nitpicking. Just as much evidence can be found to the contrary, like Hyomin and Eunjung helping Hwayoung put her shoes back on after the Thai concert, or Jiyeon feeding Hwayoung during Flower Boys, or Boram playfully messing around with Hwa at the Idol Olympics by gently hitting her umbrella against hers. Yes, that last one is one of the current ones that has everyone up in arms, and it's complete and utter bullsh!t. Do NOT buy into the netizen's bull, they are out for blood and are looking for every last bit of evidence they can to back up their claims while refuting/ignoring everything that shows they may just be grasping at straws. This is NOT me being a delusional fanboy, this is me be calm and rational, and I'm begging you to PLEASE wait it out until the announcement.
  11. There are rumors going around that it will be an apology, plain and simple, and that nothing will change schedule-wise. Business with T-ara will go on as usual. I wonder if that's going to be enough for people...
  12. This is very, very true. Hyoyoung may not be relevant in the K-Pop sphere but inside CCM I'm sure it's a different story. Personally I think the primary person at risk of being booted from the group right now is Hwayoung, for some reason I have a feeling that she's not as innocent as she's letting on. Had she been a little bit more discreet and not tweeted all of those bids for public sympathy I probably would've fully agreed that she was probably being ostracized from the group, but there's so much info available that points to the exact opposite...she HAS bonded with the girls to some extent, they were getting along, and something must have happened that pissed everyone off. Anyways, I digress. If Hwa does indeed get her walking papers, I'm sure Hyo will be right behind her. After all, it was Hyoyoung that was meant to be a T-ara member anyways, she kind of pushed KKS to put Hwayoung in the group instead and opted to go into Co-Ed. If she's that selfless then she's not going to stick around anyways if Hwayoung gets the boot. Not that she might have much of a choice, CCM and GM may just wash their hands clean of both of them entirely to be done with it. Who knows? It's still all speculation, so if any Hwayoung fans are reading this, don't get upset, I'm just throwing ideas out there to pass the time for the next hour, lol. I still like her and want her to be a part of the group, I just can't believe that the other five are all guilty of bullying her when both Hyomin and Eunjung have both proven just how much they like her in the past. Something's just not adding up.
  13. Yeah, the Tablo thing was ridiculous, I'm just glad that at the end of the day he was absolved of any wrongdoing. It's just scary to think of how much power netizens are given over an entertainer's career; they can make you, and they can break you. As far as the whole Nickhun scandal goes, you probably just answered your own question. There's a theory going around that this whole mess got blown out of proportion by rabid fangirls solely for the purpose of protecting Nickhun. When I first heard it I thought "That's ridiculous, I don't think they'd go to THOSE lengths to protect their precious oppa, would they?" Then I started to think about the idiot girls who sent letters written in their period blood, and the death threats they make to female idols who dare to venture too close to oppa, etc., and I realized that this is EXACTLY something that they might do to take the heat off of Nickhun. What probably would've been a minor controversy that would've blown over easily has turned into a massive clusterf*ck because of these fangirls, and no doubt a good majority of them are Hottests who are hoping that they can divert enough attention from Nickhun to blow the whole thing over. The saddest thing is that I don't think whatever issues T-ara has are nowhere NEAR as severe as the f*cktarded move that Nickhun made when he decided he was going to get into a car while intoxicated and put other people's lives at risk. I don't care if he was at fault or not, it was still stupid. Then again, that's the difference between fangirls and fanboys. Whereas most of T-ara's fanboys are either expressing their disappointment in the girls in a (mostly) calm, rational manner or waiting for the announcement before they pass judgment, all I saw when the whole 2PM/Nickhun scandal broke was "Oppa didn't mean it!" and "Nobody was seriously hurt, let's forgive and forget!" It's these same girls, though, that are calling for T-ara's disbandment and are pretty much hoping and praying that this stays news long enough for Nickhun to kind of slip back into the picture without much fanfare. It's sick and twisted, and one reason I try to stay as far away from the majority of fangirls of male groups. They are deranged, and far more delusional than I could ever hope to be.
  14. Yeah, I do think Johnny is Korean, and you're probably right that he's just doing what he knows to do regarding delivering the news, but it would be nice if something in K-Pop could be "fair and balanced." Maybe I'm asking for too much, lol. And I know what you mean regarding T-ara's family getting flack over this mess. I know how crazy anti-fans can be, I just hope they don't do something stupid. I'm already fearing that the stress of this is going to end up putting one or more of the girls in a psych unit due to a nervous breakdown. I swear, do people ever learn? It was only a few months ago that one of the members from Block B got hospitalized for I think schizophrenia after they went and did something netizens perceived as unforgivable, going so far as to threaten the group member's family members and petitioning for them to commit suicide. I just don't understand people. Even if T-ara was bullying Hwayoung that doesn't make all of the backlash they're receiving fair or right. Punish them in other ways, you know? Don't buy their records, let them know how disappointed you are in them as a fan, there are a million ways to hit it home that what they did was wrong, and you never, EVER have to stoop to the lengths that these individuals often do. But the sad thing is that we don't even know what's really happened yet, all these netizens are going on is speculation, and look at what has happened thus far. I'm starting to think it's because society as a whole needs to get laid more often. No joke. Lol
  15. I actually think that the reason Hyoyoung isn't mentioned more often is a case of her relevance...or, in this situation, a lack thereof on her part. She's not a member of a popular group, she's more known as Hwayoung's twin sister, if that makes any sense. She just isn't important enough for people to give a damn about (sorry Hyo fans, but she really wasn't a very popular member in 5dolls or Co-Ed even WHEN they were promoting, much less now). But yeah, if she were more popular, she would probably be playing a much larger role in this than she currently is, if that makes any sense. And I agree 100%. She should know better than to blindly start pointing fingers without knowing the whole situation first. I understand that Hwayoung is her sister, and as such she's inclined to side with her no matter what the situation is, but ultimately she is the one that initiated the controversy, which is a downright disappointment as she was just recently in a very similar situation, and I'd like to think that by now she would know how to handle it, especially after Eunkyo and Chanmi's hijinks basically ruined Soomi's career (and their own in the process). Hyoyoung is playing a dangerous game, not only with the T-ara girl's careers, but her own, namely because she chose to be a little bit more blatant about pointing fingers than ANY of the T-ara members were (if, indeed, they were even pointing fingers). It's an odd, odd situation.
  16. It is absolutely disgusting, especially considering that they really had to reach to tie this into T-ara's recent issues. If anything it just seems more of a way to keep people interested in the situation by grasping at straws. Johnny Noh (the owner of AKP) is a pr!ck who also just happens to be a 4nia, and part of me thinks he's taking some pleasure in possibly seeing T-ara get taken down a few notches so that his bias group can get some leverage (not that it'll help them). Okay, I'm being a d!ck now, I need to stop lol. Well, they've succeeded, big time. T-ara gave them the headline they've so desperately needed, that site's been going down for months since they went and utterly screwed up their forums. Most people defected to Hallyu8 and the majority of people left are idiotic pre-schoolers who have no business being near a computer in the first place. Oh, trust me, I'm braced and ready to hear the worst. I just wish the man would hurry up and do the damn thing, I can't believe I still have to wait five hours and forty-five minutes to hear this mess. And screw AKP, I cannot BELIEVE anybody's actually citing that pathetic excuse of a website as a source for anything. The only interesting reads were the Op-Eds done by TheProphetBlog as he's the only one with a modicum of writing talent, but beyond that their articles were about as dull and useless as Dara on stage when they were trying to be "good."
  17. ^No problem, and me too! I agree. Avoid AKP like the plague as they have done nothing but post misinformation since this whole debacle started (they're even stooping so low as to question whether or not Hwayoung's wardrobe malfunction from earlier this year was actually INTENTIONAL).
  18. I agree one hundred percent, the netizens are the worst perpetrators in this situation right now, they're basically committing the exact same crime they've accused T-ara of. It's basically the Salem witch trials, T-ara-style right now, and right now the only one who's been absolved of any wrongdoing is Qri. Hwayoung, Jiyeon, Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, Boram, and even Areum is receiving a good deal of hate right now, but none of it has approached bullying in my opinion. I could see how it might be construed that they were trying to convey the message that they weren't thrilled with Hwayoung about not performing at the Budokan, but how in the world does that get turned into "ZOMG, teh T-error gurlz be bulleyin' da Hwa!!!!1!!!111!"?
  19. 1:00 P.M. Korean standard time, about 7-ish hours from now...that is, if KKS doesn't troll us like he usually does lol.
  20. Okay, here we go... On the 25th five of the girls made a series of tweets on Twitter after their performance at the Budokan. At first nobody paid any attention to them as the messages seemed to be fairly innocuous in tone and even seemed to be very encouraging. The messages were all basically going on about determination, selflessness, manners, and working hard. Then Hwayoung tweeted a message saying that sometimes determination simply wasn't enough, and that there's a reason for everything that happens; that's when things started getting messy. Hyoyoung (Hwayoung's twin sister) jumped in, saying that she hurt for her sister and that Hwayoung should still be treated like a person, even if she was physically hurt. She went on to make another tweet about how being pretty on the outside has no value if you're not pretty on the inside as well. Then Tarae (Hwayoung's rapping coach) joined in, calling some unknown people "bitches" and remarking that they needed to remember that, at one point, they were nobodies as well. Both Hyoyoung's and Tarae's tweets are thought to be directed at one or more members of T-ara; Tarae went on to rescind his original tweets, claiming they were actually aimed at Nicki Minaj and Beyonce, oddly enough. It's about at this point that netizens caught wind of the situation and the whole thing spread like wildfire online, with many speculating that the original tweets were T-ara's way of "bullying" Hwayoung and questioning her dedication to the group as she was unable to perform at the Budokan due to her injury. Soon people were putting together elaborate conspiracy theories that speculate that Hwayoung has ALWAYS been bullied by the other T-ara members, even going so far as to compile collections of gifs and pictures that show that Hwayoung has been neglected this whole time; some of these examples are really, REALLY reaching (they've also simultaneously chosen to ignore the pics and videos that show Hwayoung getting along fantastically with the members, but that's another story for another time). Furthermore, CCM has made the mess even worse by stating that the tweets were, in fact, insults, but they claimed that surely the girls wouldn't have made such hateful comments, so what do they do? They claim that five of the girl's Twitter accounts were simultaneously hacked. Highly unlikely. So, since this situation has only become a million times worse, it's now been announced that KKS will make an official announcement regarding his stance on the issue on July 30th, 2012 at 1:00 P.M., Korean standard time (roughly 8 and a half hours from now). People are speculating that members will probably be kicked out, and at the very worst the group may be disbanded. It's gotten bad enough that people are calling for Hyomin, Eunjung, and Jiyeon's heads (especially the latter), and to a lesser extent, Soyeon and Boram's, who ultimately ended up deleting their tweets, and now there's a petition on Daum requesting that the group officially disband. Anti-fans and casual onlookers are just having the time of their lives watching all of this happen, and none of the comments are very pleasant to read at this point, so it's probably best to stay away from general K-Pop forums like AKP or H8 for the time being. So now all we can do is wait to see what happens. In any case most people have thrown their support behind Hwayoung, while openly bashing the other girls without proper knowledge of what's truly happened. The whole ordeal just keeps getting messier and messier, and nobody is stepping up to clarify anything or take a stance. I've actually heard that now people are wondering if Hwayoung is as innocent as she's making herself out to be, so even she's starting to get a bit of negative attention for the role she's playing. Right now it's basically a jumble of rumors, theories, speculation, ambiguous, vague Tweets, hurt feelings, and people throwing the word "bully" around a bit too liberally. No doubt that there are problems in T-ara but I doubt that it's a case of bullying. It's a sad situation, to say the least.
  21. Typical netizen f*ckery at its finest. In any event, I wouldn't lend too much credence to that ridiculous petition...the majority of the people signing were either antis to begin with or were casual fans who are seeing what they want to see and believing what they want to believe. And let's face it, people are always going to pay more attention to the bad than they will the good. I'm sure there are some people who were true fans signing on to it, but this whole mess has given all of their haters the chance to come out in force. They can pretty much say and do whatever they want, up to the point of getting away with murder, and they'd be championed for it. At any rate it's amazing at the levels of hypocrisy I'm witnessing from all the bashing going on. These people are supposedly outraged at the bullying that took place, yet the comments I've seen in response are far nastier than anything the girls have allegedly done thus far. I can understand that people are upset, but at least be mature about it. Anyways, I guess we'll see what happens, but I have a feeling that this story is far from over...
  22. I don't think a disbandment will happen either, but I think the possibility of a member leaving/being replaced is VERY likely due to all of the craziness going on right now. I fear even if this was a huge misunderstanding that someone may have to leave simply because right now, it sounds like netizens are calling for certain member's heads and I'm wondering if the situation has simply reached a point where saying "Sorry, it was all a big misunderstanding" won't be good enough. I feel the only way that may work is if the girls in question take a break from the group for a bit, and I don't see KKS putting T-ara on a hiatus of any sort, sadly. They need one in the worst way, but I just don't see him giving them what they're probably hoping will be their punishment. I am very curious to see how this all works out. We all know that if a member leaves then someone will be brought in to take her place to fulfill KKS's ridiculous ploy of going up against SNSD. Anyways, good night fellas. I feel a million times better after talking to some of you, so thank you for that. But life calls, and I work tomorrow. It's now 2:52 P.M. Korean standard time, meaning we have roughly 22 more hours until D-day (that is, if KKS doesn't trolly-poly us like he usually does, lol). I suggest you all spend that time doing things non-T-ara related to keep your minds occupied. It'll help time go by faster.
  23. I think some Queen's are simply upset and venting their own frustrations and thinking aloud right now, so don't get too upset. It's not that people are questioning their loyalty to the group,it's that all of the uncertainty is causing stress and they need a chance to talk out loud and not feel like they're going to be considered a bad fan for doing so. Bear with them (and me, I've been doing it), everybody deals with crises in their own way. Let them talk and don't tell them they're a bad fan for being upset, the fact is that they're probably scared and they channel that into anger. It's healthy, it's normal, and it allows the person to decompress. I'm already feeling a bit better, and it's because some other fans have given me the opportunity to talk and just say what I needed to say. Let's let this be a safe place, and a forum where we can just say what we need to say without questioning each other in the process. The fandom is already divided enough, we need to try to hear everyone's POV and support each other. Haha, it's so funny that you mentioned White. I had just finished watching that a few days ago (damn good K-Horror btw), and ironically I was thinking to myself "Eunjung is a damn good actress to be able to portray this kind of infighting with other people since things seemed relatively sound within her own group." A little bit of fridge brilliance at work as now I'm wondering just how stable they were even back then... But yeah, part of me believes that KKS is deserving everything that's coming to him right now. Gangkiz has turned out to be a total bust, Co-Ed/SPEED/5dolls have been utterly neglected with serious issues of their own, and poor Davichi, while digital queens in their own right, can't sell an album for sh!t. I just feel horrible that T-ara is receiving such a huge backlash from it. I never, EVER in a million years expected it to go down like this, but this is the price KKS pays...his "Midas touch" faded long ago as evidenced by his recent flop groups and his micromanagement of a group that was, for all intents and purposes, set to enter the upper echelons of K-Pop...had they just been left alone. All he's doing is leaving the door wide open for Sistar (who's recently come into their own with their past few comebacks) to steal T-ara's thunder, and they're doing just that. SME, YGE and JYP must be ecstatic. Lol, if that was the case, I'd laugh my ass off simply because that would mean that T-ara picked a day of the weekend to basically troll the hell out of KKS. But I don't think it's the case, from what I understand the man is a workaholic and as such is always busy doing something. It IS very telling, though, that this all blew up while he was out of the country...he's away from them for a matter of days and this has happened. That's what I'm thinking regarding T-ara's current situation...if they do in fact disband, it will be the first disbandment of a majorly popular girl group since the Hallyu wave first started, and it will not leave a pretty mark on K-Pop in general. It will force a lot of people to open their eyes and realize that the Korean pop music scene is not as pretty as it's made out to be. I'm just sad that it might be my bias group teaching that lesson. I really, REALLY hope it doesn't come to that. And yeah, KKS has always seemed to have a soft spot in his heart for Qri...there's the rumors of the way in which she was recruited, how he fawns over her on their variety shows (watch T-aradotcom, you'll see what I mean), etc. She's a bombshell, I guess I really can't blame the man, but it's always come of as creepy as hell.
  24. Oh, I'm sorry...I'm just on edge right now. Thank you for the support, and it's nice to see that the fans are being understanding with each other. We all just need to lean on each other like I see so many doing, it really does help. Again, thank you.
