  1. Oh Jong Hyun is a badass, as he served in the ROKMC. He served in one of the reconnaissance battalions, which is pretty much one of the most top-dog units in the entire branch. Hell, the ROKMC is known for it's brutally difficult training and with an exceptionally impressive combat record that earned them respect even from their United States Marine Corps' counterparts. Soyeon must be proud of him and I'm happy for the two. Now, if only he can be let loose on CCM's building and CEO with a pair of K2 assault rifles and grenades...Vive la liberte to T-ara.
  2. Shinsadong Tiger. Again? Here's hoping that he won't make them sound like chipmunks because nearly every title track from SST has them sounding like that. They got a lot of pretty strong competition coming up to them for October too.
  3. Rationality and logic has never been one of KKS's strongest points, my friend It's pretty well-known that he has held a pretty bad grudge against them back in 2010, when he said Nicole, Seungyeon and Jiyoung should be blacklisted from the showbiz when they filed a lawsuit against DSP. The group he is from, KEPA, also sided with SM Entertainment when JYJ had their lawsuit thrown at the latter. It doesn't really matter if a lot of Queens/Diadems are Kamilias and vice versa to him (after all, it's not like he ever cared about us fans' opinions anyway). He'll find an excuse for it one way or another, that's what I suspect. If not KARA, who knows, someone else in the October schedule may end up - supposedly, Block B is also having a comeback along with Psy and IU at the same month. Not counting Psy, the two others well, I think you're well aware of the controversies they went through lol.
  4. ^ Now that you mention Hara, I wonder if T-ara's activities in October also means CCM paying Newsen more cash to slam down on the rest of KARA at the same time, just like how it happened last year during the SL promotions. Timing-wise, it feels like someone wanted to ram down the latter's reputation severely before T-ara's comeback >__>
  5. Time to save up some popcorn and soda and see how October plays out. And again, it turns out to be a mini-album. Someone should go to CCM and scream at the executives' faces there to make a second studio album, because it has been years since the first one. Are we gonna be facing more repackages along the way too? Lol. As for people wondering why Dani is being brought into the topic - it's been obvious since last year that there has been a visible opposition to her being a full-time T-ara member and do not accept such under any circumstance (myself included). It's not that hard to figure out that there are people that prefer the group to stay as 6-ara and keep it that way for valid reasons. They ain't babysitters and do not have the time and effort to be such. EDIT: On the other hand, anyone want to take a guess how long the promotion cycle is gonna be?
  6. It is an MV after all though, where mistakes can be edited and 'corrected' to look as if they're good at the job :3 She's only been in training for about...a little over a year, maybe 1.5 years now? That isn't really anything substantial even if she has improved from that mess last year + if she lip syncs, that only further reinforces questionability of how well she's actually capable in it (if she has any credible skill in it to begin with, as generally speaking, idol rappers are not even considered actual rappers) and it'd be pretty easily noticed by folks who are looking for trouble.
  7. ^ Question is, can she actually do it well live? Her live rapping back last year, to put it subtly, sounded rather....awful. For an idol rapper, she's hardly anything really special.
  8. If anyone's learning Korean and need help along the way, I'm always here to give answers :)

  9. The point is, her 'bust' in that pic is extremely over-exaggerated. I mean come on, anyone with common sense can tell it's either photoshopped or she's wearing a push-up - or both. Maybe this should clear things up a bit; Don't get me wrong - it's there, but in the 'Bikini' poster, it's waaaaay over-exaggerated.
  10. *Sigh* By the looks of it, most likely yea. Either that, or extremely heavy amounts of editing/photoshopping...or both >__> It just looks so painfully and obviously fake;;
  11. The title makes me LOL and say WTF at the same time. And the amount of photoshop/editing done in that picture is just......smh;;
  12. The MV's name makes me LOL. And I'm pretty sure Boram's chest was never that big either....(and this is coming from a Boram fan here).
  13. Hm, aren't you the fella with the same name from NB? lol

    1. sayruq

      sayruq

      Yeah, didn't realise you go there

  14. Boram, Qri (as well as Soyeon) weren't signed onto CCM until about a few weeks, if not even days before T-ara officially debuted - they were pretty much quickly-sought replacements not long after Jiae and Jiwon left.
  15. Sapphire cover is simply put, classy, just like the First Absolute Album Really brings back memories when the group were in their original 6 formation, even though I wasn't a big fan of them at the time. That is all.
  16. + 1 to this. The leadership position as a whole had been really devalued along the way (looking at Boram and Hyomin as examples, the former obviously is not leader material and the latter, from what I heard, is too much of a 'perfectionist' + was only leader for 6 months) up to the point it doesn't even really matter who the leader is now. It's like a figurehead position with no definitive authority and power in it, even in day-to-day matters. If I had to bet anything, it's probably just part of CCM's annual June-July rearrangement shuffles with its idol groups. Aside from Soyeon for whatever reason, Boram, Hyomin and Eunjung (upon debut) were designated as leaders during those specific months.
  17. Just hope it stays that way for as long as possible, or at least after the promotions of this future comeback. They seriously need a 2nd studio album, because everything since 2010 so far as been mostly singles, mini-albums and repackages.
  18. Lol CCM, then who's also going to be the next person into the group and who'll be the next to be dropped off the bat in the future? Bad jokes of mockery aside, I do kinda hope their next comeback is as six - and for once, get a badass song like TTL. Relive those old days of 6-ara. It won't even matter if I have to wait a full year for it.
  19. Well, I guess it looks like things'll be looking a bit bastardly even more into the future then .___. If she's gonna be put into N4, there's a strong possibility she could be put into 6-ara as a group too at some point, which would probably spark up quite a bit of outrage (and that's putting it subtly). Though as you say, next June/July is going to be quite a show - for all we know, one of the original members could possibly get the boot too.
  20. If it was during say, mid 2012, then I'd fully agree with her personally addressing the issue on her own but at this point, it's not really doing her much good to feed the other side considering her association with pretty much Korea's most disliked girl group, both in the short and long term. If anything, she's probably playing along with CCM's crap - though as you say, perhaps KKS did learn his lesson somewhat (though he still had reps sprouting nonsense regarding this matter). The way she even defended KKS alone just doesn't make any sense - if she was really doing it on her own free will, I don't think she would have done so (and added with that, Areum's probably fully well aware of the massive amounts of damage KKS has done to the group for years). This isn't something you'd see from the 6-ara members either, as they have shown disdain towards KKS every now and then in the past. Lol, it's great to see you too. And don't call me soldier yet hahaha. You're free to do so in mid 2015 (whacked up immigration laws here denied me entry until Feb 2015, since it's required for both permanent residents and citizens to live in the country for 5 years before starting basic).
  21. Even if true, Areum's chances of being successful as a solo are extremely low, if not even zero. 1. Popularity comparable, or even lower than Boram and Qri. In other words, she's only marginally popular than a nugu rookie idol. 2. Vocal skills. She's not even on Soyeon's level, nor is she comparable to other vocally able idols like Taeyeon and Hyorin. I won't even get started on her 'rapping'. 3. Agency. Let's be honest here - CCM's management is awfully sub-par, and that's putting it subtly. Last time they had a successful solo was Lee Hyori, and that was 4 years ago. 4. Chances are she's probably going to be added into a different group into the future as the main 'vocal' or the 'visual'. There's a good chance that CCM is saying BS here and Areum playing along with it. After all, CCM seems to enjoy rearranging its groups during June and July, for whatever reasons.
  22. Areum, the more you keep talking, the bigger the fire is gonna get and it's not gonna keep you safe from getting burns along the way. That's all I have to say.
  23. As I wrote from NB. With the exception from 2011, T-ara's had member additions ever since 2009. Jiae and Jiwon left citing 'musical differences' in June, only to be quickly replaced by Soyeon, Boram and Qri on short notice within the month. Then in 2010, Hwayoung is added for no solid or even legitimate reason. Fast-forward to 2012, Areum is added while Dani is media-played, though Hwayoung then gets the boot. Now today, Areum is leaving too and now there's possibility of Dani replacing her spot in N4. June and July is that particular time of the year for T-ara, by the looks of it. At this rate, members are probably gonna get added and subtracted every year. EDIT: And quite honestly, all these member lineup changes happening so frequently, it just goes to say that the instability and stagnancy within CCM is becoming more clearer as it goes.
  24. One can only go 'OMG SO TINY AND CUTE' at seeing Boram standing next to the woman in the black shirt
