Company's probably at hard financial times (and has been for quite a while I imagine) since T-ara's effectively slashed away from the K-market and likely to be so for a pretty long time.
But yea, it does look like a pretty cheap gimmick (and as someone mentioned, probably a copy-move of what KARA did with their members' solo material). I mean heck, CCM's got SPEED promoting and Co-Ed to make a comeback soon despite both went through numerous member changes and a very long period of inactivity up to the point they're hardly any different to a typical rookie group that most people wouldn't really give much interest about.
Seems like T-ara's revenue has fallen quite short overall. Wouldn't count too much on an MV though, assuming costs of producing one there are more expensive, which goes to say how terribly low-budget the Japanese version of LD looked. For their music, it *should* be more higher quality, somewhat. CCM's been relying far too much on Shinsadong Tiger for the majority of T-ara's big hits since 2009.

Thought this would eventually come about, since Korea's a no-go zone for them at the time being. Since it's all being released on March 20th, that's just 6 days away from my b-day and about two weeks before I'm off to basic training for 16 weeks lol. Plenty of time to see it up in 4shared
Looking at the track list, it looks like the underdogs of the group (Boram and Qri) are finally actually getting something to do on their own rather than looking like backup dancers all the time and doing one-liners.
Hopefully at least some of the stuff is worth listening to (assuming that Shinsadong Tiger or any other Korean producer isn't involved since this is being made in Japan - case example is SNSD in which their J-stuff is a lot worth praising than their Korean ones) because their debut album was honestly quite a letdown being full of remakes and only two original songs that felt rather empty and filler-ish.
As robbe said - why on earth can't it be just in one CD for each editions?

Shindong as an MC? O.o Lawdy hell, I'm well aware of Kim Shinyoung being a very capable MC on her own (along with Yoo Jaesuk and Kang Hodong), but Shindong? I'll buy earplugs
Anyways, just a question - does Eunjung have any experience as an MC? From what I can tell, this is probably her very first time as an MC since her experience in major shows in TV seems quite limited (and it doesn't help T-ara's not very well known for variety, Soyeon being an exception). With the K-public still not so welcoming, the PDs are putting quite a bit of risk and everyone else will probably have very high expectations on her too.
Eunjung's looking at a very potentially stressful situation there, guys and girls.

The promotion technique is clearly just a cheap ploy for CCM to make money, if we're assuming that fans will be willing to buy all the different versions, so I'm a bit torn, because at the same time I'm happy the girls are finally promoting original material in Japan. I do hope the production quality is up to par with their Korean music, especially when they decide to shoot/release an MV. And the decision to make a comeback in Japan is amazingly brilliant, because I thought for sure CCM would (stupidly) try to tackle the Korean market again, even with all the bad press T-ara's still getting.
On another note, I guess we should all start saving up now, huh? Unless by some act of God they decide to release ONE album with all the songs. (Oh, and because it's CCM, I won't be too surprised if that's what they end up doing months later anyway...)

If anything, what should be the bigger concern is exactly WHO leaked the conversation in the first place. WHO? Doesn't this get to anyone here? That's the biggest iffy issue to me about this.

While I'm understandable of netizens' vocal shouts in T-ara's previous scandals and agree with them to an extent (what, with gambling, bullying and having a boss that's about as smart as a bloody doorknob), this one is extremely unwarranted for.
I'm no girl and would say that the nature of the gossip isn't exactly a really nice topic but for Christ's sake, it's pretty stupid that Soyeon's the only one getting flak. What about the other two? Are they somehow magically excluded in the minds of a few vocal crazies who are so efficient in brainwashing the sheep?
Probably yes. Everyone gossips about crap behind others and idols are no exception - whoever disagrees otherwise is a delusional prick that needs a good whack in the head.
What I'd be more concerned with about is HOW a KakaoTalk conversation got leaked to the public and WHO actually released it.
KakaoTalk and KakaoStory is basically like a smartphone version of MSN chat in function - which means, only the user has access to his/her own chats, unless some whackjob got paid to hack it, which is pretty unlikely (and with CCM's irrational claims that the girls' Twitters got hacked, no one would believe it anyway).
Judging from the strict privacy nature of KakaoStory (and being a user of it myself), the only people who could have leaked this to the press are the either of the two others Soyeon was chatting to or someone around their circle. I'll suspect Sua the most - since in the pic shown, her name is clearly shown at the top left, which would indicate that the chat is seen from her KkStory account.

Even if this isn't a publicity stunt (seeing the money amount, it's goes to show CCM's up with its typical antics and overexaggerated crap again - not even other agencies go on bragging about stuff like this), it all goes to show that the ones who made the offer don't realize or care that they're potentially putting an even larger pile of work on T-ara's shoulders.
This tour can wait long after the one in Japan's finished. Not during or before it. That's just overkill.
Sidenote - anyone with even a hint of geography would know that China and Taiwan are not SEA countries, nor are they even considered part of SEA itself. Fail of geography there.
Mate, how are you sure this money is going to go to T-ara, or even a majority or fair share of it?
Chances are CCM will probably take the bulk of this money and leave the scraps for the members (which will also have to be divided in between 8 members, assuming this tour takes place after Dani's in), considering T-ara doesn't decide where to promote or how much money is distributed between the two.
If you're going to favor increasing their workload while putting more risk to their mental and physical health after all the hell they've gone through in the past months, then I suggest you take a strong reconsideration. Promoting overseas as a long-term substitute for promotions in Korea isn't going to cut everything as with the majority of Kpop idol groups, Korea's always the most important source of income, followed by Japan. T-ara ain't SNSD.
The validity of CCM's claims aren't even reliable and known to be full of outright lies and contradictions too.
Well, with CCM known to be the most notorious and incompetent (not to mention unreliable) agency in Kpop, you can't expect people in the Kpop community to give them an easy nod.
From the Nam Gyuri incident in mid 2009, KKS's unwarranted opinion of KARA's lawsuit against DSP, T-ara being overworked with visits to the hospital, new member additions over unjustified and illogical reasons and now the scandal back in July, 5dolls' bullying scandal etc, I don't think it's difficult to wonder why people heavily dislike CCM and won't hesitate to drop crap on it.

Look, stop being a KKS apologist. He obviously has a problem with the talent defying authority, which is why he acted like a gigantic douche about the Kara controversy.
    http://www.allkpop.com/2011/01/core-contents-ceo-wants-the-kara-members-gone
    http://netizenbuzz.blogspot.com/2012/08/netizens-catch-on-to-kim-kwang-soo.html
The reality is, idols are treated quite poorly. They don't seem to be paid very well, they're constantly being overworked and because these ones (Kara and T-ara) happen to be female, they get further discriminated against because Korea is a conservative, patriarchal society. This latest episode just seems to me like KKS is doing all he can to take a jab at Kara because he's afraid that his talent might get upset with him one day and leave, like Kara tried to. He isn't a fan, he's a very unscrupulous businessman. He knows that dissent amongst idols spreads, hey, if a big girl group like Kara can have issues with their management and try and revoke their contracts, maybe T-ara will try that!
This is a classic diversion strategy. "Oh, but Kara did it too, so why are you blaming T-ara?" Well, they didn't. And even if they did, does that absolve T-ara from blame? Not that I even think T-ara deserve "blame" for doing this. They don't, they're mostly adults, they can advertise whatever they want without netizens getting on their back. But dragging Kara's name into this was low. It definitely smells like he still has a grudge.
What BUGS me is that KKS and CCM are once again both lying, AND making idiots of themselves, at the expense of T-ara. All they had to say was "it's our group, our company, we can promote however we want, shut up." Why bring up other actors? Why bring up Kara?

This gives me a bigger suspicion that the alcohol CF deal was likely just a lie for PR - a terrible PR tactic, to be precise now that the timing is considered.
I agree with klee95 and iAmEd here.
People need to goddamn see that while netizens can be a bunch of whacks, the damage they do can be ultimately recovered from through time and laying low. However, damage from the agency is just asking for trouble to brew up if it's not fixed ASAP and looking at CCM's record, fixing internal problems is next to impossible for it.
These guys are burning T-ara down to the ground and it seems like their management tactics/strategies, excuses and all that are becoming far more pathetic for every dumb public announcement they make. I don't see ANY way T-ara can recover from CCM's sheer idiocy in the long run.
Anyone wondered why DBSK split? Internal issues between the group and SM. Not exterior ones like antis or netizens. The way I see it, idol groups seem more frail to internal damage than external.
"Hallyu actors and KARA have also done advertisements for pachinko machines."
I don't know about actors but KARA is massively big in Japan. T-ara pales in comparison. CCM seriously needs to stop dragging other groups in articles such as this. It's stupid and childish.
Hell, it even looks like CCM still has some sort of bitter hatred towards KARA simply over a lawsuit way back in 2010 that didn't even involve CCM itself in the first place. Again - stupid and childish. Full stop.

And yet another instance of CCM being inconsistent coming back to haunt them. Can't they make up their damn mind and stick to it? I admit netizens are probably looking for stuff to be annoyed about, but seriously CCM - either promote both, or none at all. Also, I agree with @iAmEd. I just hear this line "Hallyu actors and KARA have also done advertisements for pachinko machines" as being said in an unbelievably annoying, whiny voice .____.
And yes, apparently pachinkos are often used for gambling purposes - seems like they're pretty much the Japanese version of slot machines. Direct gambling for money is illegal, but you exchange the balls for prizes and then can exchange that for money at a separate vendor so...basically, gambling.

NO TWO WORDS ABOUT THIS but now, T-ara is getting more money from abroad(showcase) while they couldnt have proper promotions in Korea for SL.
Yet, they promoted SL in music shows for well over a month. I don't see how they suffered from those performances, unless you count negative reviews from netizens, Boram's shoking weight loss and that alleged black ocean they got but that one is debatable. Much of the money they earn from group activities doesn't even go to them anyway.
Even if they earned a decent amount overseas, it's not a healthy long-term substitute over promotions in Korea - this is clearly seen by the fact that CCM plans on making SPEED and Co-Ed do a comeback early next year while also refusing Davichi to leave on their own, despite that chances are very, very few people are going to give a damn about the first two I mentioned since they went dead for months at the least. As far as I'm concerned, it looks pretty darn clear to me that CCM's gone desperate and realized that T-ara's income alone is not enough to sustain itself.
The only girl groups capable of lasting overseas without making a comeback in Korea and still remain successful and relevant for months are SNSD, 2NE1 and Kara.
"I never said that fans(Queen's) should buy everything what T-ara throws. what i'm trying to say is if we know or think that T-ara is wrong then we shouldnt follow them. I mean, like why should we follow something knowing that its wrong to do so... and trusting T-ara with all of our hearts isnt wrong but following them knowing that they are wrong is DELUSIONAL."
First of all, who's 'we'? You're talking about tens of thousands of people here and secondly I don't see anything harmful about being at least skeptical about the group in public announcements and news - and frankly, what they say cannot be trusted much anyways because CCM's notorious for constant lies and making the group lie too, not to mention the typical 'oh, our group turned down this offer etc' crap has been played so many times that the legitimacy of it is highly questionable.
Trusting everything what they say alone with all your heart itself is already one step towards being delusional.
"Confession always doesnt refer to confessing about bad or unhappy things. T-ara never claimed that the confession was about scandal. No no. It was assumption own our own account. They did confessed and that confession was about how happy and glad they felt for being Queen's along their sides through out the scandal. Just because you wished them to speak about scandal and how it didnt go your way doesnt mean that it cant be a confession. It was confession about the happiness they felt from Queen's support and by no mean the confession episodes had caps like" about scandal or bullying"
The show's purpose was supposed to be about what exactly occurred behind the scenes in regards to that incident, if I recall and the timing of the show itself can't be considered coincidental either.
I even remember a lot of people here commenting that they hoped that the members would clear up whatever misunderstandings and mistakes occurred between them before the show was aired - and there's a bloody good reason why a lot of people were disappointed that nothing was truly confessed in detail. Everything about that incident was completely vague. Hell, I even gave a general translation of the summary of what they were talking about and if you want me to provide you that, don't hesitate to ask because I've got a copy of it available. I'm not making up stories here, mate.
Confessing about how happy they are from fans' support can be done anytime, anywhere during their activities. I don't see a reason for a whole show dedicated to that since they've admitted they're pleased with fan support countless times before.

Recently CCM just said that Eunjung will not appear in any drama's or movies because she will have no time due to the Asian Tour and promotions abroad.
If Eunjung, who is experienced doing dramas & movies while keeping up with T-ara's schedule, doesn't have time for dramas & movies next year, how the h does Dani??? (if she has alread debut with T-ara this dec)
Have they decided to just have her debut as just an actress & not part of T-ara first?
Or are they planning on having her try to keep up with an acting schedule and T-ara's already full schedule, right from the get go.
I'm afraid, they're gonna break that poor girl.

Scatter_88mil got a reaction from staroceanp3 in [12.10.24] T-ara reveal their lunchboxes, Jiyeon "fruit diet" vs. Hyomin "meat diet"
"Their agency said, "T-ara eats and diets according to their varying types of bodies. They don't go on extreme diets, but they all choose to diet specific ways. Often times they get tempted to eat from each others lunchboxes."
Yea, that's rich. So why did Soyeon recently say in "T-ara: Confession" that the girls were starved by an extreme diet so badly during the BPBP promotions that they even grabbed leftovers after performances and ate them at the toilets to avoid getting caught?
Even Hyomin has confessed about being poorly fed on TV before, where Hyuna joked to her that Hyomin should move over to Cube because the latter feeds its idols decently.
And if they're chosen to diet specific ways, then why does Boram look like she's been released from a labor camp?
CCM, if you're gonna lie, at least make it believable or don't say anything at all.

Scatter_88mil reacted to @Eunjung4eva in [12.10.27] Video - T-ara's "Sexy Love (Japanese ver.)" music video
though I'm not sure but I'm saying this based on my assumption!! All the shooting/filming of "SEXY LOVE" and "DAY and Night" must have been completed before August(with Hwayoung in it).Sexy Love was fixed to release on 14th of August while it was moved to 3th September due to controversy!! hwayoung was removed from group on 30 July!! So T-ara had merely about 33 days to refilm "SL" and "D&N" without Hwayoung together with Songs in Japanese Version!! All of this must be completed before Sep 3rd because it's D-day.. Later our girls have had 2 showcase and they were busy Abroad!! Domestically they many not have much schedule but that's different for Abroad Schedule... So if they had to film and record Mirage in both Korean and Japanese with in 33 days only, of course it wouldnt be much effective like previous ones!! So C'on people, go easy on them!! If Queen's themselves say they dont like the song and complain then who will support them. Being disappointed is one thing but this time, they had their hands full so... they will probably bring us good music like they have been doing.. So keep up the HOPE and be Proud that they are still working hard!!
'Bout the release of Jap Version now, KKS sure doesnt know how to manage at all. Just because T-ara is creating Headlines(being in news for long time a.k.a publicity) doesnt mean that Physical Singles and Album sales will increase!! Rather he should have given proper time to this album and created new MV for SL then "COPY & Paste"...
