Business is business. Where the demand (and more importantly, profit) is, that's where they'd go. Even without the perception/accusation of their OLD scandal still hounding them in their home soil, it's likely T-ara (and even other groups/artists) would still expand, due to the heavily saturated Korean market (look at the ever growing number of girl groups alone). I say 'good' thing about the scandal is that they don't 'need' be tied down and not lose their initial/local fanbase. Talk about turning misfortune into (lucrative, hopefully) opportunities.

Like their recent singles/albums have less than stellar sales, would it be a wonder if they tried/moved on their hand in other (and bigger) markets, especially if they are being invited?
Another thing, less domestic projects mean T-ara need not go 300% activities in at least 3 countries. They are reputed as one of the most overworked (at which they even have a clip complaining/demanding of having no breaks since debut) I shudder what state they would be in if they are moving all around in East Asia (and other parts of the world) all the time.
I acknowledge that having a strong and loyal fanbase is important as the core, as overseas activities may only be trendy in those countries (i.e. short term), but complaining about the lack of local activities is laughable in the least.
PS: I just hope the girls further improve their language skills (whether Japanese, Korean, English, etc). Any work that requires regular interaction with foreigners (relatively to oneself), good communication skills are a must, especially in an industry T-ara is in.

It's not as if it is demeaning or degrades away on the site/forum of being dedicated to T-ara (as the site was founded even before the official debut and if it was an affront to the girls, then this tradition would have been discontinued).
But after all that was said and done, you ain't happy about it, take a break a few more hours/days, it would be back to the forum you know and love. I'm far from saying you should leave or something. Just relax.

I agree. No matter how 'risky' ST's song is, based on track record, his is the safer bet. As for the solos, I guess sound-wise, their Love Suggestion and My Sea are more suited to Hyomin and Jiyeon, respectively (with MS reminscent of Rolling, at least for me).
But who knows, we might be hit with a fast one (again), like that "poll" which song to promote, BPBP or LTFT. People voted for LTFT but BPBP is promoted. Then again, results matter, so it was a good choice to promote BPBP.
Though I speculated/wanted (in TD Roundtable) T-ara to promote a dance track (something a bit outside the cute/sexy) and with Hyomin and Jiyeon seen playing with skateboards and jackets tied to their waists kind of like little hints (or just me overthinking things).
To be honest, I really like Number 9, but a dance track is a welcome change. Who am I kidding, though. They'd still look great, I bet.
Looking forward to 9/11.

That cameo was "sneaky". No announcement whatsoever. I know cameos aren't really such a big thing (most of the time). But then, Jiyeon had such a long hiatus in the small screen (dramas), it's a wonderful surprise. I have to say smart move. No fuss, no noise. Who knows, it may be the start of something bigger (really hoping for it).
PS: it is the first role I recall of Jiyeon NOT playing a student (correct me if I'm wrong).

At least T-ara (Eunjung) has broken away from the horror genre (still wonder why all of their previous movies are horror).
If the film won't be a blockbuster, then at least it won't flop.

How is #1s being determined? Is it per instance of reaching #1 in a given timeframe? And which sites has ranked them?
Also which T-ara songs are included? I suspect it wouldbe BPBP, RP, and LD. But just to confirm which songs actually got to the top.
PS: to be fair, CCM does release consistently good songs for their artists. I guess it is a safe bet even for those who don't listen to Kpop in general to sample songs from T-ara's labelmates (or ex labelmates) - at least with those stated above.

Personally, it's a hard choice, with that Mainichi part 2 (PV shooting). I'd suspect it would be harder once the MV will be released. Enough ranting, go ahead and start voting!

Maximize promotions on two "fronts" then converge for their 2nd Japanese album then on their comeback in Korea. It seems a good strategy, like better exposure for individual members.
I hope any success or positive feedback they receive overseas will translate to better reception in SK (but that's a tall order). But regardless of the past, it's good that they are up and having activities.
Let's support the girls (in whatever incarnation they happen to be) for their continued success.

It seems nice that T-ara gets exposed in the US/world stage, but I hope it is not at the expense of their Asian activities. I could say, the US/Western market can be much more fickle, and promoting away from their usual support bases may alienate T-ara from their 'core' support.

But in any event, wish them the best. A door has been opened, so why not take the opportunity. As for those with doubts/skepticism, let's see how the whole thing unfolds. No use in spending the energy on negativity -- even if T-ara does fail, they ain't the first group to do so. And if they succeed, a bit more here and there (nothing long term for different reasons) -- my only fear for success is other groups are likely to capitalize and bandwagon on them...

PS: F-I-V-E (5) English versions? Those artists must really found something they can relate to with CSD And should we expect a much less restraint in terms of lyrics?

Good luck to the girls. And I hope they (CCM) won't force their way into the US market like other acts/agencies did. Trying to make serious attempts will just be a disaster in the making (their English skills alone would be a hindrance).

Likewise, we could also make a poll out of Queen's from individual countries and weigh each in turn, as a lot of 'international' lapped up and joined in the bashing/hating.

I thought there was something "hidden" with the MVs, which was reinforced by seeing the translated lyrics. Whether or not this POV is true, who cares. I personally thought (and wanted) T-ara to do something (okay, ala gangnam style) that just show they don't care with any of the negativity thrown at them. They finally did. In style.
The news didn't overhype about this (possibly) being bigger than GS, but not because of the music or choreo or even the concept. It's the message and the attitude. Likely will overshadow any international event (ala Olympics).
PS: would this be a sign T-ara would be returning to Twitter/SNS again?
