  1. I don't really care... actually I don't even read a lot of those articles anymore. If you think about it, what is there to get upset about? The people that hate T-ara are clearly more vocal than most, but really, the mean comments they leave on places like Nate is all they have. Remember when T-Jinyo tried to organize a protest? And out of their 300,000 members this is how many people showed up...

If I feel any type of way towards the situation, I feel bad for the people who have that much hatred in their souls!

  2. Someone who considers themselves to be a fan of T-ara? :) That's all I can think of, really. There are so many different ways to show your support for something and it doesn't make sense to try to apply the same standard across the board. One person might buy every album T-ara releases, does that make them more of a fan than someone who doesn't? Not really, it just means they have the funds to do so. One person might run a T-ara fansite and another doesn't, which one is the "real" fan? As long as they call themselves fans, both!

But if you want to get technical, you could say a true "Queen's" is one that's registered as an official member of Queen's lol. Too bad I'm not!

  3. They weren't my first kpop group, but I heard Good Person and Women's Generation with Jiyeon and I liked them. After Wanna Play leaked before their debut I heard that really liked it too, so I decided I'd start following them. I ended up joining Diadem the day they debuted just so I could find more pictures of Eunjung. 4 years later and I'm still here :)

  4. So the first Mongolian desert teaser and this new teaser 'Can you play with T-ara' are for the same song Number 9?

How quite drastic of change is that... if true this turns our retro again, then I take back my words that ShiTiger broke his own track record with T-ara's title tracks. I guess KKS really want to make retro the signature sound of T-ara.

They aren't filming the actual music video until later this week, so at this point I'm not sure if either one of the teasers will relate to the real concept in the end...

  5. I noticed the similarities from the first time I saw Crayon Pop. I don't remember which Crayon Pop video it was but my mind immediately went to Roly Poly in Copacabana, the whole bad school girl image and the sweatsuits and everything. Crayon Pop wasn't the first group to be inspired by T-ara (even though not everyone will admit it) and they won't be the last! T-ara's impact is real!

  6. I'm ordering mine from CDJapan. Buying 8 versions (4 for me, 4 for a friend) costs $123 total including shipping compared to $143 on YesAsia. Even if I chose the fastest shipping option from CDJ it'd still cost less than YA's total. I guess since YA does the free shipping thing they make up for it by jacking up the prices of all their products. Also, my friend ordered the Japanese YaYaYa single from YesAsia and never got the external bonus photo so I'd rather not take the chance with Bunny Style since I want them all! It's pretty random when it comes to YesAsia and the bonus photos.

  7. Go here: http://gaonchart.co.kr/main/section/total/list.gaon?nationGbn=T and click on the 앨범 button on the top (towards the left) and once you're there choose the 월간 (monthy) or 연간 (yearly) button next to the little dropdown menu under the dates on the left since Gaon only releases monthly and yearly figures for album sales, no weekly numbers. Then use the dropdown menus to choose the dates you're looking for! :)

No idea where the 4 million number for IGCBOY came from. It sold 3,042,224 in 2010 which means it would've needed to sell another 1,122,553 in 2011 for that to be true. It's not in the top 200 for 2011 so it seems to be made up. I remember someone adding some fake facts like that to 2NE1's wikipedia once as well saying "By the end of 2011 it was reported that "Fire" is the second best-selling single of all time in Korea, with 5,079,597 digital downloads." they even used the same wording so it's probably the same person spreading nonsense everywhere lol

  8. No problem! :) I've added up the numbers for Round & Round's chart run as well: 421,110

Day By Day's album tracks if you're interested:

    Don't Leave: 239,270
    Holiday: 168,234
    Love Game: 99,353

    Hue: 71,475

The older songs (TTL, Lies, etc.) might be impossible to find if you're looking for the Gaon stats. Bo Peep/LTFT were released in December so they were able to chart into the next year, but the others didn't sell enough to show up in the top 200 for 2010. Back in 2009 when Gaon started they only released monthly rankings and I'm not sure where to find those since they aren't on Gaon's site, I'm not sure if they even included sales stats or just the chart positions.

  9. I've been following them since predebut. I was already a fan of Seeya years and years ago, so naturally I found out about T-ara through the news that their company would be debuting a new girl group. After that it didn't take me very long to become a fan... well honestly I was a fan of justabout every group back then  but now three years later, T-ara is one of the only two kpop groups I still care about. I don't really have any interest in anyone but those two groups anymore.

  10. This is getting silly. No apology necessary! So many of these people are going on and on about how T-ara are bullies, bullies are evil, etc. Yet places like T-jinyo with 340,000+ members, rather than using their newfound popularity and influence in a positive way like trying to educate people on the perils of bullying and being bullied, they choose to spend their time digging up flimsy evidence to "prove" that Hwayoung was being bullied (a majority of which is complete nonsense, by the way), spamming message boards to have T-ara removed from programs, starting ridiculous petitions, etc. I think that's rather telling of their true motives. I too believe there may have been bullying going on, but I'm sure that it happened when the cameras were off and I don't think it's the real reason why Hwayoung was removed from the group. These people want the truth behind the whole situation, but the only truth they'll ever accept is their own twisted version of the "truth" which they believe they already know. What else do they want? There are just as many lies and twisted facts in their arguments as there are in those from CCM. I'm sure they started off with good intentions, unlike Tajinyo, but at this point they're turning into the same thing...
