[13.01.28] T-ara to make a Japanese comeback with バニスタ (Banisuta)!


The release of the long awaited Japanese original track, バニスタ (Banisuta), has been decided!
With the new member Areum who joined last year, big news from the newly formed T-ara!
As craved by the fans, the new Japanese original single バニスタ has been set for a release on March 20th! (Further details to be announced afterwards.)
For the first time, the Limited Edition will be 3 discs and the Regular edition will be 7 discs, in total there will be 10 discs on sale.
The Limited Edition disc will feature sub units of T-ara. In addition, the Regular Edition will feature solo music of the T-ara members. That makes 11 new Japanese original tracks!

Oh my really? "T-ara-lines" or "T-air-a-lines" hehe I'd book that.

I will say that while T-ara suffered a pretty big blow to their popularity domestically, they seem to have gained a lot of new fans the world over! 2013 looks like it will be a great year for them, hands down...Areum is getting all sorts of love, their performances at the year-end awards shows were fantastic, and given a bit of time I think that T-ara's Effect will be the comeback album that helps them put all the controversies they suffered from in 2012 completely behind them, especially if CCM allows them to release the album later on in the year instead of pitting them against the likes of SNSD and other highly anticipated comebacks.
This was definitely a year of growing pains for our girls but the light is finally at the end of the tunnel, and I think next year we'll see T-ara's star power return to its former glory if not grow even brighter!

I think this controversy is going to mark a significant transition in T-ara's career...namely, spending considerably less time promoting in Korea while focusing primarily on the Japanese market for the time being. This controversy has been much less damaging abroad than it has been domestically for the girls as evidenced by sales for Sexy Love in Japan (not a runaway hit but still comparable to their other singles in terms of sales) and the less chilly reception they have received from both the press and the general public. Netizens are obviously not ready to let this issue go yet, and I doubt that KKS or CCM is willing to give the girls any sort of hiatus, so it wouldn't surprise me if instead of releasing new Korean material at the beginning of next year we get a Japanese single first. Next year I predict T-ara will spend most of the year in Japan with maybe one comeback in Korea later in the year to test the waters to see how things go, and honestly, I think that would be their best course of action...they've outgrown Korea and have pretty much peaked in terms of the success they could hope to achieve in their homeland at this point, while in Japan they have much more opportunity for growth and continued success if they are committed to making it happen.
Long story short, I hope that this controversy serves as the catalyst that allows the girls to simply break away from Korea for a while to focus on truly breaking in to the Japanese market. In doing so perhaps they can find even greater success in that market while salvaging and repairing their tarnished reputation in Korea.

Well... All i have to say regarding this being that I'm from Europe is that i didn't know what Pachinko is nor did I care,but crying over and arcade game, OH COME ON ALL READY, WTF. When it comes to PR KKS/CCM are idiots, yes, but the Knetizens are just trying to hard right now to be noticed, grabbing on to everything they can to get attention.
If it was me (no offense) I's just put a bullet in their heads and call it a day, because idiots like this make me not want to live on this backwater of a rock, whit morons such as them breathing the same air as me (which BTW i consider a personal offense).
On another note CCM/KKS needs to learn when to SHUT THE HELL UP, and stop dragging other groups like KARA into the mix, it's like their asking to have some sort of pointless feud with DSP. AND THAT would be a bad ideea. Lucky for us DSP will probably ignore them to begin with therefore this will not escalate.
Anyway i think they should do it, it's a freakin arcade game and if they make money of of it well good for them.

I disagree with the opinion that this is CCM/KKS's fault. As much as I dislike T-ara's management at times, I don't place blame on them for every little thing the netizens complain about.
If the netizens were silent, and T-ara made a ton of money from this, I doubt most people would be objecting to CCM choosing this endorsement. This pachinko news was actually spread on Twitter more than a month ago, and no one said anything negative. So netizens now influence our opinion of right and wrong? So CCM should plan every move around what may potentially be criticized by netizens? Sounds like that's giving them more power, not a great idea to me.
I know very well the bad that can come from gambling and how it's viewed in Korea, yet I have no problem with this endorsement whatsoever. I don't think pachinko is the greatest evil on earth. I literally laughed when I saw netizens were actually trying to create an issue out of this.
Who cares what the netizens say? It's a bunch of losers competing for the most 'liked' comment. A Queen's on Twitter is even reporting the majority of Korean news is siding against the netizens on this issue. T-ara is making public appearances, has a Presidential endorsement, so maybe this isn't worth getting excited about.

Okay here's a little something for you kids to think about. If i were a real queen (which in my case i am) I wouldn't want CCM to accept this tour ( considering it's even real in the first place) because T-ara is already overworked and dead tired with all their over packed schedules (not to mention that last year wasn't any different). If this tour will go through then i want you all to think what will really happen to the members of T-ara and what will happen to their health. Plus they will be adding a 14 year old who will have to go to school in the meantime. Yes I know you kiddies want T-ara to come to your respective countries so you can see them and cheer for them squeeling your little hearts out after having to starve yourselves half to death to buy tickets (not to mention get ripped of like so many people earlier this year with not even getting a high five not to mention an autograph), but if you really like T-ara, show them some love and care and genuine human compassion by hoping this will happen after next year so in the meantime they can hopefully get some well deserved rest.
These soon to be 8 girls are human beings and they need our support not our demands. Please keep that in mind.

Um why do i have the feeling that there is some shady backdoor deal going on and that this is not Eunjungs decision alone. FOR GODS SAKES PEOPLE WAKE UP. SBS created a precedent here KEMA is right to worry, i mean they did this with EJ, that's one thing but if they can get away with it, who knows how many more actors might get the same treatment in the future. I understand EJs desire to put this all behind her but there are matters involved here that can't just be left alone, and need firm tending to. If this precedent remains unsanctioned it will encourage bad treatment across the board for professional and idol actors who are going through personal hardships, a bad time, have lost popularity or are being the subject of criticism by the public (Like how T-ara was this summer). I'm sorry EJ but i have to side with KEMA on this one, there are some things you just don't do. (That's right SBS and YEIN E&M even you have limits.)

Junggie is too kindhearted. I've always loved and respected her and she just made me love her and admire her even more.I know her parents must be so proud of her, i know i would. I'm thankful to Eunjung's parents for instilling all those morals and values- that many people seem to lack nowadays-in Junggie as she was growing up.Also thankful to god that he let such a beautiful person into this world..its people like Junggie that makes this world a better place and restore my faith in humanity.
It angers me that Junggie is blaming herself and feeling bad for the production team because of the scandal, when she was the biggest victim and took the hardest hit but this just goes to show what a great person she is..always putting others before heself , not being remorseful against those who've hurt but rather be forgiving and kindhearted..It angers me that there are others who take advantage of this..
I understand that Junggie wants to forget this and act like it never happened but these people not only violated her rights and treated her like sh*it but they also had the audacity to put all blame on EJ, most of all they have scarred Junggie's heart.Yes Junggie says she's forgotten but the truth is you can never forget , she will forever be scarred , the scars will fade with time but the traces will always be there.
I respect EJ decision but i think KEMA is doing the right thing by putting sanction and boycotting YEIN E&M to let it serve as an example to other companies that you can't just violate a person's rights and treat them like sh*t and get away with. It not just for Junggie but for other actors/actresses.Maybe this is what they mean by everything happens for a reason.
