  1. Ain't nothing wrong with that. Appreciation on good sir!
  2. Qri is always effortlessly chic and stylish when it comes to airport fashion. She has the best fashion-sense of all of them.
  3. Damn. Our Areum's airport fashion has improved tremendously. I wonder which unnie has been guiding her?
  4. Now i'm confused. Not sure if T-ara's Effect is the aforementioned Japanese album or the Korean comeback album...
  5. I still remember Areum having to lay down for awhile during their Bunnisuta Tour in Japan - that's a clear warning sign that the girls were hitting their red limit. With the non-stop performances, appearances on variety/talk shows and, I do believe, countless behind the scene hours spent on rehearsals, the health of the girls are just going to deteriorate even further. I wonder should Diadem work together with other fan groups and write a joint letter to CCM and let them know of our concerns and plead that the T-ara be given some time to properly rest.
  6. Wasn't it supposed to be called "T-ara Effect" or something? Really looking forward to the girls performing as a full group again.
  7. I do believe it was a pre-recorded performance. But I may be wrong.
  8. I'm still pessimistic and am putting this down as nothing more than an expensive meet-and-greet that CCM hopes to use as PR material (whatever it's worth). Unless senior management from CCM accompanied the girls and will be meeting Brown's reps and his recording label's executives for genuine business talks, nothing concrete is going to come out from this "exploration". Perhaps KKS will be satisfied if this publicity event helps to sell a few more thousand records in the home country and brings T-ara to potential consumers' attention in other parts of the world.
  9. I hereby dub Kim Kwang Soo the Grand Superinflator, Blowhorn of the East!
  10. From my own observations, I do believe KKS inflates his figures by a factor of ten. At least.
  11. More likely than not it's an exaggeration by CCM (we all know KKS loves to inflate his sales, fans and attendance numbers to the point of hilarity). Maybe someone from Brown's management knew Dani was part of this Kpop act, gave her a backstage pass to meet and take photos with Brown, and then Dani showed him the MV when they were having the short meet and greet.
  12. Going by the standards of other Kpop groups, I don't think T-ara has much input into the song writing process nor decision to collaborate with other artists. The company engages professional song-writers and even image-producers (though Hyomin does play a bit in this with her zest for fashion and image coordination) for them and it's the job of the girls to accept whatever's put on their plate. So this so-called meeting and "talking about music" is more likely a) an opportunity for Chris Brown to ogle and make the girls really uncomfortable and B ) a short easily forgettable picture publicity moment that unless backed by something concrete (say management level contract talks with Chris Brown's recording company), has not much benefit. How recognizable is Chris Brown in Korea anyway? As posters above me have noted, he's got a really rotten reputation, not really huge in influence nor talent in the industry, and so association with him is something a typical Kpop act shouldn't.
  13. Thanks Higara for posting the translation. Mucho appreciated!
  14. If you think the sub-group's going to be giving a full-expose on this one program then I think you'll be pretty disappointed. It will be more likely than not, as you have put it, "sorry-assed" again. And that's going to be the problem. Guys like you would be left disappointed and wanting more while T-ara marketing nose-dives even further than we thought possible because old fiasco gets churned up again. By the end of last year, I have already made my peace and buried my dead; from the looks of it, we will never ever get to know the real truth and the full details from CCM and Hwayoung. That being the case, I agree with the rest of the thread that it's better to move on then to dwell on the issue. And if my understanding of your post is correct, that you insinuate that CCM may have a hand in dredging this thing up from the depths again (after all i'm sure the limits of interview must have been prior agreed to between CCM and the show producers), then yes, it truly is a really really risky move to pull. More liable to backfire than not if the audience is teased but not fed enough.
  15. I love her laughter - it's husky and cute. I'm hoping the movie is a success and she gets to act in more feature-films.
  16. I can't wait for the delivery photos of the gifts we got her. Hope she'll like them.
  17. Party in limo concept has been done before by Madonna (featuring dah Ali G!) in "Music" so that's nothing new. And why is it that I feel like shouting "Gangnam Style" while bobbing my head... I need to listen more before I can make up my mind.
  18. It's a daring and interesting concept; i'll give them that. Image-wise it's either going to be a hit or they are going to be viewed as desperate hip-hop wannabes. Now to hear the song it self.
  19. Damn straight! Agreed on all counts. Hyomin looks more like those prog rock chanteuses from the UK.
  20. The image projected by Hyomin is interesting - no hip-hop vibes at all. I can't wait to see Eunjung and Maknae's image.
  21. Eunjung is awesome. She really shines in front of the cameras. I hope she resumes her acting career sometime in the near future.
  22. That was really fast. Thanks for the upload. The Thai fans really loved our girls. Edit: Bah. i forgot it was from the Mar 2013 showcase. But still a great clip.
  23. So far has there been any real confirmation from CCM? I'll believe it only when there's official confirmation or when the new music is revealed. Really weird strategy - they should be concentrating all marketing efforts on T-ara's Effect.
  24. This has either got to be a prank or CCM's marketing division just bit off more than it can chew. Right now they should be concentrating on building up the hype for T-ara's Effect and focusing all marketing efforts at that direction to ensure maximum success. To reveal such sensational news now is only going to confuse potential buyers and the all important fanbase, and as the preceding posts above have shown, divide it into separate camps. This would effectively dilute the anticipation and hence potential of T-ara's Effect. And also the theme is questionable. YMCA? Village People? I mean, seriously?!
