Diadem just underwent some major changes as we have upgraded our IPB 3 to the very latest IPB 4. This comes with a lot of changes to the look and format.
In terms of look, we're very bare bones right now but we are currently in progress of creating a whole new theme. In the mean time, the forum's are back online for everyone to regularly use.
Couple things to note, all our content is currently being "rebuilt", so if you come across any broken links and tags, missing posts or images, etc. please do bare with us as the system does it's work, it will all be back in order very soon. Additionally, Awards have been reset but don't worry, we'll have everyone's awards back as normal. No need to make requests for what you already have again.
If anything seems out of place, worry not, we're likely already aware and are working on it. However don't hesitate to notify us of any issues, errors, etc.

Girl group T-ara received an award on a Chuseok Special TV program. Although it was a small award, they cried. People might have mistaken that they had won a huge award but there is a deeper meaning.
T-ara chose to perform a cover of Im Chang Jung's comical song 'Open The Door' on KBS2 Idol Song Contest, which was aired September 28th. They each wore old-fashioned training jumpsuits of different colors and made the audience laugh at their retro concept.
T-ara is a girl group that has been around for almost 7 years since their debut in 2009. During the recording, they suppressed their stress by only thinking of their fans, the audience and viewers at home. They showed a different charm with their comical cover performance.
The panel of judges recognized T-ara's sincerity and gave them a special award called the Hangawi Award (Mid-Autumn/Harvesting Festival award). The award surprised the T-ara's members and because it had been a such long time since they last won an award (in Korea), they felt more emotional.
Eunjung said while welling up in tears, "we've been watching the original Idol Song Contest since we were young so we are very grateful and honored to have won this prize. We will be a T-ara that will always be filial to our parents." The other members were also touched and their eyes reddened.
There is no other group like T-ara, that has been through so many ups and downs. Every song they have released since debut has an addictive melody that captivates the hearts of fans. They have also clinched multiple first place awards at music shows with their retro-concept music, but because of "that incident" in 2012, T-ara have been constantly falling.
Undoubtedly, they continued schedules and promotions after that incident. Not only did they promote in Korea, but China as well to constantly produce new music. Surely as singers, they have to depend on singing and music but they have been constantly ridiculed as "determination girl group." Of course, the members have committed some mistakes, but the malicious comments directed at them have hurt them terribly. They were so scared to feel hurt during schedules that they would not read any comments on news articles.
Although T-ara still has quite a lot of antis, T-ara's sincerity in performing well on stage has made many people that used to have their backs towards T-ara, turn around and acknowledge them. Currently, news articles about T-ara's appearance on Idol Song Contest have a lot lesser malicious comments.
T-ara is finally receiving recognition after so long. Their tears carry deeper meanings that many people can never imagine.

T-ara girl group member, Jiyeon's brother, Park Hyojoon, underwent liver donation for their critically ill father who was suffering from a life-threatening condition of liver cirrhosis.

A media source on the 10th said that Park Hyojoon completed the liver donation transplant to his father in May and resumed his duty after that.

The news was learnt from the military newspapers published in May. At that time, Park Hyojoon, who was serving in the land army unit 6 77 troops, donated 70% of his liver to his critically ill father. His father's condition was life-threatening if he didn't undergo liver transplant and upon successful matching, he underwent the major surgery.

As the news of "Park Hyojoon soldier" spread, no one knew that this soldier was the brother of Jiyeon.

Close source of Hyojoon told OSEN that "it was a difficult situation when they couldn't find a suitable match for the transplant."  His father strongly objected to receiving the liver from his son who had a bright future. Hence, Hyojoon underwent the surgery in the capacity of a "stranger" and his father knew of it only after the surgery ended. It was such a touching story.

Park Hyojoon was previously cast in Mnet's Super Star K3, where he attracted a lot of attention for being "Jiyeon Brother."

T-ara's agency MBK Entertainment recieves 80 billion won cosmetic project with Brunei
 
T-ara’s agency, MBK Entertainment , has received a 80 billion won mandated project from Global Star Marketing.

On 15th April 2015, a MBK Entertainment representative said that a "Letter of Intent for a Korea-Brunei Cosmetic Collaboration Project was signed. Over the last 9 days, the Brunei Sultan has acknowledged and signed an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) at the BEDB (Brunei Economic Development Board).”

Furthermore, “Korea-Brunei Collaboration Business was offered by the Brunei Government Minister’s Office BEDB a 16-hectare lot at Brunei Salambigar Industrial Complex. Halal cosmetic products can only be produced in a plant building, which has a 30-year lease that will be given to Korea’s IMK Group to support R&D, labor and local employment costs. State-owned enterprises affiliated with the Brunei Ministry of Finance have investing plans in the next 3 years, 200 million won each and surmounting to 400 million won,” the representative explained.

BEDB and IMK Group have signed an MOU to have MBK Entertainment’s artists T-ara, Son Ho-Jun, Kim Gyuri, Shannon, etc. to be promoters of the Global Star Marketing Project. About 80 billion won for advertising and public relations have been mandated under Global Star Marketing. A comprehensive business cooperation is also currently proceeding.

MBK Entertainment side is scheduled to use Hallyu Star marketing and IMK Group’s cosmetic products technology to explore within the Muslim’s halal blue ocean market.

On April 11th, T-ara attended and performed at YinYueTai's The 3rd V Chart Awards in Beijing where the won the awards for Most Popular Korean Artist and Hot Trend/Star Artist of the Year. Jiyeon grabbed an extra award for herself Best Korean Female Artist.

[15.04.12] T-ara, Why They Are So Popular In China
 
 
Local girl's group, T-ara, has received the 3 highest honours in China. Their popularity in China is unlike the rest. In a key music award ceremony, The 3rd V Chart Awards, they won the highest popularity award, celebrity of the year award and member Jiyeon won the award for best female singer. Particularly for the highest popularity award, it was determined by the voting of fans. Being able to defeat the rest of the well-known artists to win this award has a deep significance. So what is the reason why T-ara is so popular in China?

On the 12th, T-ara's agency announced that T-ara had won the highest popularity award, celebrity of the year award and best female singer award in the annual V Chart Awards ceremony held in Beijing.

Many of the Chinese industry reps expressed that the high popularity of T-ara was due to their songs.  Many of their songs are widely popular. Roly Poly, TTL, Bo Peep Bo peep, Like The First Time, I Go Crazy Because Of You, etc are well-liked not only in Korea but also in China.

In addition, their unique music style and their catchy tunes are also key in obtaining the love of the local fans. Due to their unique concepts, their stage performances are diverse in style and hence, they became the 1st to be considered for invitations for many of the activities. Shuffling dance and retro-dance moves that are choreographed to be easy to follow were effective in their aim.

Last year, T-ara collaboration with popular Chinese duo, Chopstick Brothers, for 'Little Apple' also helped raised their recognition in China significantly. With the familiarity of the songs, though unfamiliar faces, this activity raised their level of presence among Chinese fans.

Although not fluent, T-ara still try hard to use Chinese to communicate with their fans. Their effort put in are also recognised and appreciated, adding to their popularity. Learning and being familiar with the Chinese words/phrases to use on performance stages in order to interact with fans is the key in the eyes of T-ara's agency.

T-ara had also earlier performed for the sultan coronation ceremony in Malaysia as the main performing artists on 29 March. They performed 10 songs and along with Taboo from Black Eyed Peas, they were promoted heavily in the local promotion posters.

All these overseas activities had led to the accusations of "T-ara are focusing on overseas activities due to their difficulties in domestic activities."  If this is indeed true, their strategy has been very successful indeed.

[14.12.16] Hyojoon leaves a supporting message for T-ara
and his little sister Jiyeon
 

On December 14th, Park Hyojoon, elder brother by one year to our Jiyeon, made use of his time off from his mandatory military service to attend T-ara's 2nd Queen's Fanmeet 'Present'!

After the show, Hyojoon posted a photo with T-ara with a sweet message:

Though in the midst of his service to his country, it is endearing to see Hyojoon's continuous love for his baby sister. Fans have speculated Hyojoon's discharge to be on the 27th of September in 2015, a mysterious date given in Jiyeon's solo mini album that matches up with his mention of having 9 months left!
