Jiyeon, who had debuted 7 years ago, says she wants to travel back in time and some of the unfortunate things that had happened.

Jiyeon said in her interview with GanGee magazine’s March issue, “The most memorable moment since debut was winning first place with Bo Peep Bo Peep. The memory is still deeply etched in my mind. It was January 1st, 2010.”

Jiyeon was asked a question: personally, what do you think is the most unfortunate thing that has happened to you? She replied, “when we’re having group activities, our image is always the same. We always seem to have this mindset of ‘it’ll be alright if we just stick to our decided image, right?’ That has e trapped in just a ‘T-ara's Jiyeon’ kind of image.”

Jiyeon went on to say, “I thought to myself at some point, this won’t cut it and I’m still young so I really have a lot of sides of me that I want to show everyone. We're just starting our activities in China and I’ll try my best to show a new side of me.”

“I got really busy after debuting, but as our popularity started to drop, activities significantly reduced, that’s the reality. After suffering so many problems, I really want to try looking back on my old self once again.”

Jiyeon was asked of her plans for acting and said, “frankly speaking, I want to act in a drama. I’m also thirsty for a T-ara album.”

When asked, “you seem to be eager for a casting in an variety show too?” Jiyeon replied, “yes. It’s a pity that I don’t have much chances to appear in variety programmes that feature female stars like Invincible Youth and  Heroes, two of which I've appeared in before. I really want to be cast in a female gossip reality or variety show.”

When asked, “if you were to be cast in a female gossip reality or variety show, who do you want to casted with?” Jiyeon replied, “I’m the closest with IU and Luna. We’re 93-liners so I think the show would be very fun if we were to gather together.”

T-ara are Jiyeon are currently having a Chinese tour right now and taking a break from Korean activities. T-ara is planning to release a new album around summer.

Meanwhile, Jiyeon will be appearing on the China-Korea variety show Tao Han Guo on Wuhan TV (a network with viewership rating of about 50 to 200 million) and China video streaming website Youku (up t 1.3 billion viewers) next month.

When we first heard of Banana Project, we thought Wang Sicong ventured into the agricultural industry. We didn’t expect his first business was signing a contract with popular Korean girl group T-ara, marking his first step into the entertainment industry. Furthermore, the “discreet and low-profile but popular Internet Prince” started PandaTV, appointed Duan Xuan as his e-Sports CEO and even signed a contract with another Korean girl group EXID... attracting a lot of attention. Seems like the daily life as an “entertainment detective” can no longer satisfy Wang Sicong.
Before Banana Project was established, I didn’t have any business with Wang Sicong. But after he managed to sign these Korean girl groups, things changed. Not long ago, Wang Sicong called us and asked, “do you want a chance to raise your reputation?” That was how I decided to work with T-ara.
Following the plan, we drove T-ara to the Ren Lu Art Gallery in Shanghai. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s normal. Afterall, when we were looking for photoshoot venues, the most important factor is quietness. We were in a location that was very inaccessible so it was one of the rare times where they were not surrounded by fans for autographs and such. They were actually quite sad.
Therefore, we decided to have a quiet and calm concept - Flower & Muses. The “Muse” is a reference to the Muses in Greek mythology, the goddesses that are great at dancing, music and poetry. With 6 muses appearing in Shanghai, it is no wonder our staff went crazy over them. But of course, we didn’t travel all the way here from Beijing to go crazy over them. After our staff rushed to get T-ara’s autographs and group pictures with them, they quickly started working. The lady that was responsible for editing the pictures promised us, “if we manage to wrap up before 5 pm, I will give everyone a group photo!”
The girls were really cooperative. They tied balloons, laid on flower petals, interacted with a gold python, etc. Seeing how the pictures came out so well, the photographer exclaimed, “why are these girls so kind and capable?” Although T-ara might not be as photogenic or professional as actual professional models, they were really good in the sense that they had the charms and beauty to make up for it.

Hyomin has been revealed to be working with Ryan S. Jhun, producer for EXO, Red Velvet, Shinee and many others.
MBK Entertainment revealed, "Hyomin is preparing to make a solo comeback in March. She is producing her album with Ryan S. Jhun who has previously EXO's Love Me Right, Red Velvet's Dumb Dumb and Shinee's View."
The director of Hyomin's solo music video will be Lee Ki Baek, known for G Dragon’s A Boy, EPIK HIGH’s Map The Soul,  ZICO’s Boys and Girls, and many other artists such as GD&TOP, Gary, Lee Hyori, Park Jae Bum, etc.
Hyomin personally worked with her music producer, MV director, stylists and photographer for this solo comeback. The album will also consist of 2 songs composed by Hyomin. Beast's Junhyung was the lyricist of one of the songs.

T-ara’s Eunjung enjoyed her popularity in Thailand once again.
After receiving a lead role in Thailand movie Microlove and becoming a hot topic, Eunjung flew to Bangkok once again on January 16th. The purpose of her revisit was to film additional scenes for the Thai movie and as well attend a press conference.
A huge crowd of fans went to receive Eunjung at the Bangkok airport even though she arrived after midnight. The dozens of media personnels swarmed around Eunjung during the press conference for Microlove demonstrated her popularity very well.
Eunjung also visited the Bangkok Erawan Shrine, a place where many tourists and famous celebrities from various countries make wishes and pray. She visited the shrine early in the morning without prior notice but there were still hundreds of fans who somehow knew and huddled at the back door to see her.
In Microlove, Eunjung plays the role of Minji, the daughter of the president of a Korean software company, an elite employee and the female lead.

China’s trending topic, T-ara.
T-ara has been confirmed to be appearing on China Hunan Satellite TV’s special program for the Lunar New Year, Lantern Festival. A popular show that is broadcasted during the Lunar New Year celebrations in China.
One of the representatives said, “the director of the program personally requested for T-ara to be invited. They are a Korean girl group but it feels like they are slowly becoming a local Chinese girl group and reaching the prestige that can be matched with other Chinese celebrities.”
T-ara officially started their Chinese activities in October of 2014. During a press conference on that day, it was announced that T-ara will be actively promoting in China. There were more than 100 different representatives from various media outlets, including fans and members of the public present, indicating the huge amount of attention they were receiving from the Chinese market. Following that, T-ara received previous interviews and other schedules from China MTV and appeared on many other famous Chinese TV programs.
Just last year, they received a contract from Banana Project, an entertainment company set up by Wang Sicong, son of one of the wealthiest men in China. Furthermore, they held a concert at Guangzhou’s Tianhe Stadium and burst into fame in the Chinese market. They are already currently known as China’s top girl group.

T-ara's Hyomin will be making a solo comeback!

MBK Entertainment revealed to Newsen on January 8th that the comeback is set to take place in March. "Hyomin has recently been preparing for her solo comeback. However, the time of the comeback has not been internally confirmed."

Hyomin's side stated, "the new songs are currently being recorded. The time of the comeback will be finalized after the details have been confirmed.”

Hyomin made her solo debut in June 2014 with Brave Brothers produced title track, Nice Body.

Taiwanese media has reported that it is possible that T-ara could be stars in Jay Chou's upcoming new music video.
It was revealed recently that Chinese singer Jay Chou, who is popular across Asia, would be recording a new song as a promotional song for League of Legends and that there has been secret discussion for girl group T-ara to star in the music video. Taiwanese media website UDN reports that it may be all of T-ara or just a few members.
In October of last year, T-ara officially signed a Chinese contract with billionaire Wang Sicong's entertainment company. Wang Sicong also serves as the president of China's Mobile Gaming Agency and owns the e-sports team Invictus Gaming. Because of this, this rumor seems like it could be quite plausible for T-ara.
For many Hallyu stars, it is a dream to work with Jay Chou. T-ara were previously on the Chinese variety show "The Brain" with Jay Chou where he picked Soyeon as his favorite member.

Kunlun Games has announced today that the MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) Dream of the Three Kingdoms will be available for iOS on December 17th! Wang Sicong, also known as the China’s Husband, has engaged T-ara as ambassadors to endorse the game, which also marks his debut in the mobile gaming industry.
T-ara cosplay as ancient Chinese characters for the first time and will form a team to join the “Dream League."
Three members cosplay as the beautiful ladies of the Chinese classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms. Girl group T-ara is really hot within China, no one can compete with them. Combined with a strategy to localise T-ara's image, they are also apparently becoming a trending girl group.

T-ara had previously released a remake of China's Chopstick Brothers' song Little Apple. Ever since then, they received a love call from China and officially debuted. They appeared and performed on various TV programmes. This resulted in T-ara quickly becoming a group with a strong competitive advantage.

T-ara drove up the atmosphere further by having a China Tour, holding concerts in various cities. Members took up roles in dramas and even movies, receiving a lot of attention. Extraordinary beauty, exciting music, upbeat choreography etc, T-ara is becoming a group that is more familiar than distant to Chinese audiences through their various activities.

Other groups are temporarily promoting their performances and events, but T-ara is having a lot schedules that are actively taken up by their Chinese agency, be it individual or group activities.

Last year, T-ara signed a contract with a Chinese entertainment management agency, making them the first ever Korean group to officially step foot in China. However, T-ara have moved to an even bigger scale agency this year. Wang Si Cong, son of one of the wealthiest man in China, set up a new media agency Banana Project and signed a contract with T-ara, who can expect to receive numerous contracts in China according to local Chinese news reports.

Furthermore, T-ara will appear on various famous TV shows in China periodically. Among them is a TV programme by CCTV Spring Festival Gala Express in which celebrities, or anyone for that matter, who like spring night (first night of the Spring season) can participate in. It is the biggest-scale TV programme that is specially aired to celebrate China's Spring season. However, only those that are of certain recognition in their fields can appear on air. T-ara will appear on the Spring Festival next year during the Spring season in China.

Citing Jiangsu Satellite’s reporter from China’s Sina.com, “T-ara will be recording for The Brain - Season 3."
According to Chinese media, T-ara will be expected to appear on the show with one of the top Chinese singers, Jay Chou.
The Brain is a national variety show that explores the world’s mysteries by inviting famous professors and geniuses to test their knowledge and mind power.
