  1. Hello fellow Queens'

There has been a lot of questions directed to me in regards to attending music shows for T-ara in Korea.
So I'm here to answer your needs.
Requirements for all music shows are the same unless they are concerts.
(e.g. SBS The Show that usually records a concert instead for which you will require to get a ticket instead)

There are 5 important things that you must have, and to each I will try my best to guide you on getting it.
First and foremost, Queens' membership card.
Secondly, signing up for the event on daum cafe.
    Thirdly, album
    Fourthly, MP3.
    Fifth, Ringtone.
If you have all 5 items, then good for you, you will be ranked cat 1.
And for each missing item, your category will drop.

Queens' membership card, will be given to members who have paid to be on the daum cafe.
(Registration is already closed so your only option is to wait till next year or ... )
DO NOTE, for those members that have yet to receive their cards, you must print out the receipt/ notification page, that indicate that you have paid to be a member.

Signing up for an event on the daum cafe, DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU to have a QUEENS' membership card. You will just need a daum account which can be easily obtain via these few easy steps here.
One/few days before the event, the registration for the event will opened up. All you need to do is to follow the instructions fill in the particulars as accordingly, and lock your posts and you're considered signed up.

Album is by far the easiest step, whereby you will just need to purchase an album of the current song that they are promoting. Assuming the album that they are promoting is currently unavailable, then you must bring the album they were promoting previously unless stated otherwise whilst signing up for the event on daum cafe.

MP3 is slightly difficult as you will need a credit card to purchase the song on iTunes. Assuming the song is not available on iTunes, then you will require a Korean to help you purchase a song on the music sites, notably Soribada or Melon. ( What i did was to get my hostel owner to help me purchase the song on my behalf instead ) After buying the song, make sure you PRINT out the screen capture of your receipt. You MUST PRINT it out ( i.e. No showing of the image on your tablet/phone)

Ringtone will be the most difficult of them all. There are two ways of getting it. The official way is to get a ringtone via the music sites and then send it to your phone, however this means that the buyer will have to send you the ringtone ( Since music sites requires a Korean ID, it will be be difficult for us to sign up for an account there. )

. Now the other unofficial method is to make your own ringtone, which is highly unrecommended, because i'm not sure of any repercussions. What they usually want to see is a ringtone with 30secs and the album jacket on the ringtone. I.E. they will ask you to play the ringtone on your mobile phone; the display should have the album jacket as the image and the ringtone should be 30 seconds long. Hence for those going during the comeback week, it's recommended you bring your laptop along so as to be able to make your own ringtone at your own convenience.

I will be explaining how the categories work now.
As mention earlier, without an item, you will drop to a lower category.
So even if you may arrive very early to the address of the music show, but if you're missing one item and the next person in line has more items than you, he/she will be placed ahead of you instead. Upon arrival at the timing indicated for the event on daum cafe, the fan managers will then request you to take out all the necessary materials. Obviously, those that arrive early will get priority first. So for example, one that has all the items and is the first to arrive will be marked 1-1, and the second in line will be marked 1-2. Hence, there's a first come first serve basis involve as well.
( 1-1 is usually impossible to get as there are some REALLY REALLY PASSIONATE fans that will queue really early)

The fan staff/manager will mark on your wrist or on a paper of your choosing, to indicate what category you're in.
After you're marked, stick around the area for a bit to see what else the fan manager have to say, then after which, you can go for a toilet break after he/she is done aligning the rest of the fans.

Please don't make a fuss over small issues, such as you've queued for a long time but can't get in due to the number of tickets given blah blah blah, because ultimately, you're in another country and it will be wise to put on your best behavior as a fan. You do not want to give them a bad impression that you're a black sheep. The fan staff/ managers as far as I know are pretty nice, so long as you don't piss them off.

There are times where by the number of tickets given by music shows to the fan managers will not be enough to let all the fans in. Hence, it will be best if you get the highest possible category to guarantee your seat.

Locations of music shows and timing to be there will be indicated on the event page of their daum cafe and you can google how to find the place with not much of an issue.

Last but not least, enjoy the show and cheer loudly for your idols whenever they come on.

If there's any questions, you can leave your queries on this thread or tweet me @CornOppa instead. My advice is to do both since I won't come to TD often and that other folks here may have the answer for you as well. If I don't reply to you on twitter either, pester the hell out of me, because I'm too lazy to respond sometimes.

There's a first for everything, so I hope I help you guys enough to make your first trip to Korea enjoyable. 뿡뿡!

  2. Hey there!

First up, I think we can have further rewards (Apart from first dibs on subs) for the nice folks that have been helping out in forum activity,
be it in donation projects, just simply subbing out videos or moderating forums.

This will not only entice more people to join Diadem as a donor,

but increase our forum activities as well.

Then you might be thinking what kind of reward is CornOppa thinking?
This idea came from how the dot admins work, they have close up photos and videos for those that have donated/ posted enough to gain a high level in the website.

Well, we know that Diadem is an INTERNATIONAL community.
So we literally have fans from everywhere.
Wherever the girls go, we have peeps taking photos & videos of them.

Recently Robbe uploaded two videos of the girls at the Hong Kong airport from joseph ,also known as Hinces on diadem,

And I was thinking that this can be a way of rewarding the donors

They can have special access to all these fancams provided by Diadem.

Rules for these fancams provided is that
It cannot be taken off the site ( Since it's for the donors, it should only be meant for the donors)
It cannot be shown to the public
(Dot admins will blacklist anyone who gets too close with the girls, and I , for one, does not want to be blacklisted)

Comments and feedback would be much appreciated.

Ignore this, just realised that we have exclusive contents section.

  3. Now guys you've seen my guides on how to go to CCM

    http://www.tiaradiad...cm-by-cornoppa/

And how to go to Eunjung's Mum cafe

    http://www.tiaradiad...fe-aka-cafenne/

Now it's time for Music Shows,

I will describe about each one.

But before i do, you must know about the prerequisites.

You will need 5 items before getting in line as top priority.

First up is T-ara Membership card from their T-ara Cafe Daum.

Next up is their promoting album.

Third is an MP3 download receipt.

    Fourth is the Ringtone.

    Fifth is the Caller Ringtone.

For Foreign fans, the last two are irrelevant as they understand that you don't need a phone in Korea since you're staying temporarily.

However, the first three are a must for you to get top priority.

Signing up for the membership is easy as describe in another topic but you have to pay 10kwon iirc to be the first Queens and im not sure whether the sign up is already over.

As for the album you can get it easily through another music stores in S.korea so that's not a problem either.

Third is the MP3 download receipt. You must have this because from personal experience, they nearly didnt let me stand near front because i didn't have this. They are very anal about this.

You can get this MP3 download receipt from Daum/Soribada/Melon/Naver.

Purchase the promoting song and print out the receipt.

This will be very difficult for a foreigner as we don't have a Korean ID to sign up for the site.

I got my Hostel manager to buy the song for me, but he didn't manage to print it out.

When i was waiting in queue at SBS inkigayo, they told me to print it out, else i wouldn't get to stand in line. So i had to run to a PC bunk to get it print out. So troublesome :/

There's another thing you need to note.

This is about Pre-recorded performances and Live performances.

    I will explain the difference.

Some performances are pre-recorded then PDs will broadcast it during the liveshows(To make it look like it's live).

The celebrities will continue to perform while the pre-recorded are broadcasted. Then the PD will signal to them to indicate it's time for the next performer to be prepared to be on the stage.

So sometimes, the performers will just leave nearing the end of the song.

The next performers, most probably Live, and the crew will then have ample time to prepare for the Live performance and the stage settings.

That's why we have live and pre-recorded performances and that's why you get to see the drastic change in stage settings after each performances.

And the thing about pre-recorded performances is that they will do it a couple of times to get it right.

Thus some fans are lucky that they get to see the girls perform 8/9 times.

Whereas i only had the chance to see them perform twice on the same day...

    Ok moving along!

First up we have KBS Music Bank :) (Personal Favourite!!!)

    KBS MUSIC BANK!

    Ok, so first up.

    If you're taking a cab,

Here's the exact location. Just show it to the cabby and he will get you there.

    KBS Music Bank 뮤직뱅크

    서울특별시 영등포구 여의도동 18

    Seoul, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Yeouido-dong 18

    Alternatively,

You can take the train and reach National Assembly Station Line 9.

From there, you can take Exit 6 or Exit 4.

The image below indicate on how to go to Music Bank.

    http://imageshack.us/a/img152/5585/img0652.png

Black arrow refer to Exit 6.

Green arrow refer to Exit 4.

It's preferred if you take Exit 4 first.

From Exit 4, you will be able to pass by GS-25 (A mini mart) and Holly's Coffee where you can get some food for yourself.

Check out the row of trees/lamp posts outside the entrance of KBS for queue lists for fans.

Try to walk yourself in to the building/follow other fans.

    You will find yourself here!

    http://imageshack.us/a/img802/3318/img0225ul.jpg

Take a chair and relax while waiting for the show to start.

Or you can wait outside Exit 6. as Exit 6 is the one that the celebrities will come through.

Reason why i say KBS Music Bank is my favourite is because it's the only music show we can communicate with the girls.

Managers will park their vans outside while celebrities will walk in.

Thus i have the chance to do this :)

My opinion on the schedule is like this.

They will come around 9am to get the schedules right and etc. so this is your first chance.

Then they will leave the building for lunch so this is your second chance.

When they come back for the pre-recorded performance, this is your last chance. I will explain why later.

Remember about the prerequisites i said early?

Now after you see them for the last time, you will have to go queue because there's when the fanstaff/leader will come out and help us arrange the queue and etc.

The staffs of the music show will only speak with the fanstaff/leader. With this, you need to prepare ur items to show that you're worthy to be at top priority.

If i'm not wrong, admins of the various fansites like jingdot will take turns doing this. so yupps. do watch out for them :) as they will help you out in a long way.

After that you are all set and ready to go for the pre-recorded performance.

The staffs will tell the fanstaff to get ready and bring us into the waiting area of the building.

Then we will go in according to the queue no. and the priority and take the seats.

Once inside, the girls will come out and we can start cheering for them :)

Cheer loud for T-ara please :))))

Then after the pre-recorded performances ended, we will head out so the next performer and their fans can come in.

So we can wait outside the Music Bank to see if there are any spare tickets to get to see the Live Show. But the chances are really really low. So yupps

Now after Music Bank is over. They will leave via the same entrance. But this time round the vans will be able to enter. So the guards will not allow any fans to enter. Chances of seeing the idols are relatively low as compared to the first three chances but you can still try.

And that's all there is to Music Bank :)

I will update on Music Core and Inkigayo later on whenever i'm free.

  4. HELLO! Apparently from what I've gathered, Cafenne has switched hands, so there's... lesser chance that the girls will continue to go there *since EJ's mum doesnt work/own there anymore. BUT i will leave this here in case anyone's still interested. *Bbyong* And i heardddd~ that the girls will continue going there. since it's near CCM and all

Hihi all, today I will be sharing on how to go to cafenne ( Eunjung's Mom cafe)

First of all, you all should know that Cafenne is in an optimal location such that if you head down the alley on the other side of Cafenne , you will able to find the place where SM artist and Cube Ent do their makeup, and you will be able to find LookOptical (The Spectacle Shop that T-ARA used to endorse) Main Branch which is a 2 storey building.
If you continue walking down a seperate alley, within 20mins you will be able to reach CCM which the directions is indicated on a different page.

    img0625e.png
First of all, from wherever you are, head down to Apgujeong Station.
Take exit 3, (Follow the red line in the picture)and walk downwards on the main street and turn left and continue walking down until you see a Cheongdam CGV (RED coloured) on your left as indicated on the GoogleMap.
    Black Cross marks Cafenne.

    img0172ir.jpg

(Cheongdam CGV is the red-coloured Circle building)
(The white arrow is for people interested in SM and Cube Artiste)
You are the blue man, you will be walking on, until you see the traffic light at the green man (Use the traffic junction later).

    img4312z.jpg

Ok now back to Cheongdam CGV, if you look across the road, you will able to see a Chinese Restaurant with a big signature display board as Ho Lee Chow on the second floor of the building across Cheongdam CGV. (And i pray that this restaurant havent close down yet)

    img4306a.jpg

Now cross the street and walk towards Ho Lee Chow.
Walk into the alley just right besides the building of the Ho Lee Chow.
Cafenne will be located one building after Ho Lee Chow in the alley.

    img0174wu.jpg

It is the stylish greyish/black building that's roughly three stories high in the picture.
First and second story belongs to the coffee shop, third story is a hairdressing saloon and that's where the toilet is located too.

    img0175gm.jpg

Do note that you can also exit from Gangnam Office Station indicated in the GoogleMaps Pic, walking the green way instead, but I rather you walk from Apugjeong Station as it will be an uphill walk from Gangnam Office Station to Cafenne.

Eunjung's mom will be in the shop most of the time as I've seen.
Else she will be sipping coffee with her friends on the second floor.
The coffee shop will provide offers/discounts to T-ara fans if you purchase their latest album and brought it to the shop.

Im not sure if it's still available, but for 100k won, Eunjung will sign a mug with your name on it.
The waitress will take down your name and pass it to Eunjung's mum.
You will need to fix a date to come back and collect the mug.
Do note that, fans often drop by Eunjung's mum cafe so you may have the chance to see the Korean fans chit chatting there as well.
    Sample of receipt :
    img0213bm.jpg

Funfact, for those who are interested into where SM and Cube Ent Artiste do their makeup,
follow the white arrow in the picture indicated above and go into that alley,
You will see a Homestead Coffee and the third/fourth floor is where they do their makeup a.k.a Red Carpet.
If you walk further down that alley, it will be the Main Branch of the Look Optical Shop where T-ara used to endorse for them.

Now that I've shared such important information, it's a must to credit me/diadem/tarasg if you ever take this out. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you have a fun trip to Korea~ Note to self : Juan 8 (pal) -dong Nam-gu, Incheon
