  1. If we go by T-ara's tradition short hair means she will get a push in popularity (remember Eunjeung & Hwayoung before their signature short hair?).. I hope I'm right cause she really-really deserves it..
  2. OK I might be crazy, but here is another hint of CCM pushing Qri... Have you seen the Sexy Love Trailer yet? QRI GOT SHORT HAIR!!! If you know T-ara history.. all of the members always get a huge popularity explosion whenever they cut their hair short... Case in point: - Compare Eunjeung during Lies and Eunjeung after TTL... - Hwayoung with long hair? Naaah... Hwayoung with short hair? YOWZAA! - Hyomin gets to be a leader.. what does she do? Cuts her hair...
  3. Ok CCM.. the song & choreo is damn fine.. please, please don't mess the MV up with bad editing.. Btw.. wonder if part two of Day By Day will also be launched..
  4. Yes they have been overworked to death by CCM, and yes their stage performances have sometime suffered due to fatigue and injuries.. But what I always love about T-ara members is that they seem to really really enjoy being on stage (especially Hyomin, when she does her many suprise adlibs or uses props ).. their faces are just so full of expression compared to the blank stares & fake smiles of most other groups.. some might say its because they are all such good actresses but I think they genuinely love performing live & they get energized by the audience... So for me as long as the performances are in moderation (I hope CCM would learn something out of all this fiasco) and the audience show support (which is a bit tricky), starting up a new promotion could actually be good for their health. Soyeon herself once said because they are so used to be overly active it is actually frustating for them to just lay around and do nothing.. they need to occupy their minds on something positive, remember its the idle celebrities that usually do the unthinkable.
  5. "On the 28th and 29th, tweets were sent from T-ara and Hwayoung and caused a crazy bullying controversy that confused the public and fans. They have since apologized and wish that fans can continue to support them in the future.." I like how this article is written... unlike what the press were writing in the past few weeks, it seems that people are beginning to understand that the problem was the confusing tweets and not bullying.. hope that other news outlets are also adopting a similar tone.. even allkpop have started to tone down and now using the word "alleged bullying" when talking about T-ara's trouble.. I fell a change in the wind is coming. PS: Anyone know were I can get a hold of those T-ara dolls? PPS: Concert in Indonesia? Dear god, yessssss... please
  6. If the rotating leadership system is still in effect, isn't it Qri's turn to be the next leader? Its about time for her to step up.. Although for me Soyeon is a perfect leader for T-ara, I am really looking forward to Qri's "Shiny-Shiny" era of leadership.. All hail Her Royal Bling-Blingness Queen Qri!
  7. I love you T-ara but this should be a lesson for all of us... NO PERSONAL MESSAGES ON TWITTER!!! God created SMS for a reason..
  8. To hell with the Antis.. for me the letter is targeted to the fans and general public who have misjudged T-ara. As the true fans will always support them, my concern is the Korean public in general, I hope by reading this letter at least they will accept the fact that none of the T-ara members are actually the she-devils that the Antis would like to portray them as. Several prominent people from cultural observers to PDs & celebrities and even the Korean Entertainment Management Association and Korean Actors Labor Union have defended T-ara... while the accusers are nameless netizens hiding cowardly behind anonymity or fearful entertainment & advert execs who are afraid that they will loose money just because haters write angry comments in their message boards.. Who would the man & woman on the streets of Seoul actually believe? In a sane society, where people are judged by verified facts (not false accusations by those who don't even have the guts to say their own names), this should quickly go away.. but judging by the last few weeks, I can only say lets just wait and see..
  9. Its so refreshing to hear a rational voice once in awhile during this whole ordeal... I wished the decision makers in KBS, SBS & most importantly CCM had such sensible maturity.. but a lot of men in high places just grow older not wiser.
  10. Seriously KKS you should just concentrate on T-ara concepts and creative side.. leave the strategic & management thinking to someone else.. If you are bored and want to "tweak" things up just play with all of those action-figures in your office or buy the 'Idol Master' video game, T-ara members are not vynil dolls, you god damned megalomaniac man-child...
  11. They need to take some time and really really prepare for this comeback like their lives depended on it... It will be a make or break deal for T-ara.. If it flops can you imagine how the antis will gloat over T-ara's "inevitable" demise?
  12. Brave move from Hwayoung (though I've would've prefer that she done it sooner and I agree she didn't have to be so vauge) I hope CCM would use this momentum to at least hammer down Hwayoung's message by letting the T-ara members talk & defend their selves in a public forum.. If this is too much for some of the girls, let the parents read written statements (KKS should not go anywhere near the mic)... apparently right now in Korea keeping silent means admitting that you are guilty, which is what the Hundae Lovers PD was saying when she criticized CCM (lying makes stuff worse, KKS you idiot). I always thought that people will ease off this issue since the evidences were so bogus but I guess somebody from T-ara needs to step up to the plate and face the media storm (I vote Soyeon as spokesperson since she handled the Chosun Ilbo interview so deftly with the rest of the members there for support)..
  13. If the T-ara troubles didn't have happened this summer: - T-ara would be basking in their national wide spotlight from being showcased in Star Life theatre~right before Super Junior (I only remember SNSD getting such honour as an idol group before) - T-ara would have had a successful Japan concert in Budokan and aiming for a bigger one at Tokyo Dome - T-ara would have a succesfull sold out concert in Korea with (which is rare among idol groups) - T-ara would have got #1 on the charts with Day By Day (it clinged to #3 position even during the worst period of the storm) - Sexy Love would've been released on August and I have no doubt will continue Day By Day's momentum. - Three members of T-ara will be on TV dramas in the same time (Even the top girl groups can't claim this achievement) Basically, adding their Japanese and international success to the equation, in their third anniversary T-ara would've move to the next level as a girl group leaving the upper mid-card groups level and joining the top tier groups with SNSD, Wonder Girls, 2NE1 and Kara.. Since TTL not a single T-ara promotion has tanked, which is an amazing achievement, even though they are not from a big agency like SM, YG, JYP or DSP... it just makes you wonder if any of the K-pop old guards or jealous struggling agencies helped in fanning the flame of hate... well, that's actually just a baseless conspiracy theory from me (don't take it seriously). But I bet a lot of agencies are happy that T-ara got sidetracked and CCM got derailed in their struggle to join the top brands (pro-tip: get a new CEO & decent PR expert if you want to do that..)
  14. Finally.. someone who is willing to put his name behind a news fact (Korean Actor Labor Union CEO Han Yongsoo). Hope the Labor Union and KEMA are really going to go all out on this, though I am not sure that Eunjeung should even reconsider going back, this drama is already getting bad press and I'm afraid she will get blamed if the drama tanks, an apology and repatriation of her reputation is enough... to me the show has already lost four fingers with only the middle one left.. But isn't it ironic? The previous post are correct... SBS kicking out Eunjeung was probably as much as a bonehead move as KKS kicking out Hwayoung.
  15. Guys just heard that there is also going to be a talk show on Echannel called ‘Special Press Conference‘, a talk show where 14 news reporters will discuss ‘Reporters reactions to T-ara’s bullying incident‘. AKP said (I don't know why I keep going back there ) reporters voiced their opinions on the incident saying, “Idol groups are the driving force in K-Pop, and this can be a main factor that can set Hallyu back. No one knows what really happened, but I think we need to also examine the actions of netizens who take things too far.” Which is actually well said.. despite the fact that I also love other groups and hallyu stars, In the past weeks I actually have been wondering if I will still have any interest in K-pop if god forbid the Antis won and T-ara is gone.. Besides T-ara, my favorite thing about Korean entertainment was Kang Ho Dong and MC Mong... and most of you know what happened to those two. Hope that someone can translate this when its out.. thanks
  16. It's really brave of him as a drama PD to say that a major TV station is doing "despicable things"... This guys shows great principle and judging by the article on the Korean Entertainment Management Association on the matter, apparently he is not alone..
  17. Since T-ara & CCM is in such a bad press position & SBS can easily spin the T-ara story to what manner of reporting they would like in their TV entertainment news + ban CCM from their shows, it won't be smart for CCM to make a large fuss (like launching a law suit) over the unilaterally unfair action which I guess is what the TV station is counting on.. So I am really happy that at least some people outside of CCM (which often make matters worse) are actually fighting for Eunjeung's reputation and realizing that this type of prosecution is really not healthy for K-pop in general.
  18. Wonder if this is considered as a breach of contract or not... if so I hope Eunjeung & CCM can at least get a xxxx load of money as compensation for damages incurred from this shitty TV station.. if not then CCM needs to make better contracts to protect their talents.
  19. You know if you read all of the news regarding this subject, the articles specify that "it was revealed...." and an "insider said..." or "an associate of the producers said..." or "one side says..." All of this is piss-poor reporting from the media. I am not saying that Eunjeung will or won't be canned but the only side who is making an official statement is CCM. Haven't we learned from all of this fiasco that you can't really trust un-verified news sources? If SBS is really canning Eunjeung, then lets hear their official statement and move on.. its really a shame and not really fair but its their loss anyway. If SBS isn't really dropping Eunjeung, then all of us just got riled up again by yet another false rumor. Seriously, its really surprising for me to see how the Korean press relies on rumors instead of asking statements from someone who actually has the guts to be quoted by his/her name. Basing their stories on facts digged up by random netizens instead of investigating the issue by themselves. Summing up articles with comments from message boards which anyone with an access to the internet can write in instead of contacting real experts of the industry. BTW.. I don't mind heated debates and differences of opinion. Its always good to hear from another prespective but.... I think we have a troll in our midst (note the repetition of certain words that are meant to rile up negative comments).. I would've suggest just "ignoring the ignorant" since trolls thrives on any attention but another solution is you can also report posts that you think is annoying.
  20. If they are afraid that the good ratings this drama has been getting will drop due to Eunjeung's apperance.. I think they are hugely mistaken. Almost everybody and their grandma already knows about T-ara's issue & that Eunjeung will be starring in it.. yet they still watched Five Fingers. Let's see if changing the actress will actually boost or sink the drama... I for one won't be watching it anymore.
  21. Eunjeung showing up on ep.5 is quite natural.. Actually this happens alot in K-dramas (Man from Equator, Glory Jane/Man of Honor, Baker King Kim Takgu, The King 2Hearts etc.).. they always show the characters' early years in the beginning episodes before the main actors appear "X years later..." in the later episodes..
  22. Although Jokwon and Gain was the most funiest couple to watch, for me Woojung was the best believable WGM couple ever.. They seem so natural without any awkwardness, still one and a half years is a solid record despite the writers strike. Anyway I hope they keep in touch & at least stay as close friends even after the show..
  23. Even her little sister is taller than Boram.. she is totally a SD-idol
  24. The left most words sums it all for me.... Thank you for posting the picture. I really support Eunjung & Hyomin's position during the interview.. for me Soyeon has told T-ara's side of the story (not CCM's) in her Chosun Ilbo interview, no more words are needed, its up to each individual to decide for themselves what do they believe or not.. The only way to shut up the antis now is to show that T-ara members are no longer easy targets for their type of cyber-bullying and the way to achieve this is not through words (it will only inflame them more) but through action. I don't think T-ara should release any singles and do live performances yet, but what they can do is do really-really well on their respective dramas and show that they are still high-rating earners. As mob mentality goes, when the antis who actively spread malicious rumors and write despicable comments on message boards figure out that the general public (not niche market K-pop fans) are actually into T-ara dramas, I think there will be a sharp decline in the number of the actual active antis (the guys who take the time to actually make/fabricate things up) as it won't be that easy anymore to harass T-ara. Bullies are cowards who prey on the weak (which is why I never believed that someone with a strong personality as Hwayoung's would ever let herself be bullied for 20 months).. Now is the time to show how strong T-ara really is.
  25. There's an article circulating that Soyeon will film on the 15th.. Although I'd like to kick KKS in the balls like most of us, at least I hope this means that Soyeon's injuries wasn't as bad as it was feared.. I had a traffic accident once and the EMT gave me a neck brace & put me in the ICU overnight just as a precaution even though it turned out that I didn't get any serious injury.. I hope & pray this was the case for Soyeon also.
