  1. Despite criticism of some people.. I really applaud Hyomin for not taking the reporter's bait. I bet she is just dying to be able to finally defend herself and scream out her side of the story. However, the interview was not about Hyomin & T-ara, it was about the drama. It won't be fair to the other cast and crew members for her to take all of the spotlight.. If Hyomin even open up a bit and gave a short sound byte acknowledging the question then she would've open up a floodgate of follow-up questions which will derail the whole press conference.. I also would also just like to thank Min Young & the others who once again provided us with more info beyond the press.. you guys rock..
  2. The translations may differ a bit from site to site but I think the gists are the same... would be great if there is a Korean speaking Diadem that can verify.. still what is most important is how it is accepted by the Korean public in general. Anyway, Soyeon has led the way and earn some peace and quite to heal, its now up to Hyomin and Eunjeung to stay strong and speak up during their interviews..
  3. Thanks for the trailer.. Hyomin was really good in 'Gumiho' (I still remember how cute she looked with the black cap she used to wear on and off the drama during that time) can't wait to see her in a larger role!
  4. If that's what you think.. then hey I'm sorry since you are entitled to your opinions. But seriously, though English may not be my first language.. when I hear the word Karma and a bad accident in a single sentence it just saying to me that somebody is implying that the victim "deserves it".. and I think we both agree (or at least I hope we do) that nobody deserves the misfortune that Soyeon and the other girls are having right now.. sorry mate not questioning your fandom, just how you express it..
  5. Thanks so much for the translations (still would be grateful for a full one though)... Personally I feel her sincerity, she didn't try to spin a fairytale about how perfect the relationship between the members are, which is just natural since even loving siblings and best of buddies often argue, tease each other and even fight, it doesn't mean they hate each other or intentionally would like to hurt one another. It must feel like being stabbed in the back, when she saw so many 'fans' that she has sacrificed so much for, just turned their backs in under a weekend and actually create such editorialized lies.. She even was actually sorry that Hwayoung and her family got hurt with this whole ordeal and took some responsibility for the situation as an unnie and leader. That's not the easiest thing to do when people are calling you a bully.. I hope that this interview will at least calm the Korean public a bit, because she desperately needs some peace and quite right now to recuperate..
  6. My prayers for her. I really hope the neck brace is just a preventive measure... but its really sad to hear her in pain. I also can't believe that someone here even mentioned the word "karma".. What? Do you think bad things only happen to bad people? Is the universe trying to punish T-ara for past & current mistakes? That's a load of bull and an insult to anyone that gets hurt while sweating blood and tears trying hard to pursue their dreams.. I'd understand if a clueless attention-crazed anti on AKP will say that, but please not here..
  7. Really proud of her for stepping up first and being the leader... she doesn't shy away from criticizing her management for taking it too far by firing Hwayoung and even admitting that as a group of ambitious teens & twenties living together, of course there are fights and conflict but then you apologize, make up and grow closer.. It such a pity that she had the accident just after this difficult interview. Anyway, allkpop has a partial translation... which actually has fueled comments from antis..
  8. Thank god she is alright.. this incident just makes me realize how less beautiful the world will be without anyone of the T-ara members. Oh yeah.. Soyeon just had an interview Chosun Ilbo, would be really really grateful if someone can please post the translation here, Allkpop has it but I don't trust their translation so much (they always seem to 'forget' certain paragraphs)..thanks
  9. Is this the 'mysterious' techno tune that you can hear during the Making of the Day by Day MV? + add the lyrics that Soyeon was recording during Star Life Theatre... I'm not sure if it was my favorite lyrics and sound but I really hope that T-ara proves me wrong and make this into another mega hit..
  10. The heck with Antis and their xxxx.. I'm watching Music Bank now and DAY BY DAY is still #3 on the K-chart!!! (after B2ST & PSY) There's no stopping these girls Damn... if only it wasn't for the scandal, T-ara would've dominated the airwaves on August with three dramas, variety shows and a powerhouse of a song..
  11. Hope this drama gets a good viewers rating.. every cloud has a silver lining, so I hope with all the media circus at least people will pay more attention to this drama and get hooked since Eunjeung is such a great actress.. (Absolutely adored her in Coffee House, hate the fact that the focus changed from her character half-way through the drama..)
  12. "T-Jinyo is spreading Malware! Save your PC fromT-Jinyo" Was it malicious software or just plain maliciousness?
  13. Brave girl.. hope the presscon will stay focused on the drama & doesn't turn into a public trial for T-ara..
  14. A good chunk out of the 340,000 members would also be the same people using multiple IDs and fake emails.. I tried to do the same tactic at the T-ara support petition on change.org but they have a mechanism to protect against such abuse This actually reminded me of a friend of mine who didn't sleep for two days since she was busy making new accounts to support Big Bang in an online popularity award or something..
  15. How about some info? Was it live, recorded, etc? Thanks..
  16. Yes.. thanks for the post! But is it just me, or does Soyeon looks really tall in this Drama..? Hope this will get to be aired in KBSworld!
  17. I'm repeating myself from another thread but who cares (sorry moderators)_: A bit off topic but: Enough with all the gloom & doom.. finally some good news!!! Instiz Chart Singles Ranking for the first week of August: ============================================== 1. PSY – “Gangnam Style” – 42,080 Points 2. SISTAR – “Loving U” – 19,065 Points 3. BoA – “Only One” – 18,669 Points 4. Davichi – “Do Men Cry” – 18,244 Points 5. 2NE1 – “I Love You” – 13,835 Points 6. CNBLUE’s Lee Jong Hyun – “My Love” – 12,521 Points 7. PSY ft. Sung Si Kyung – “Passionate Goodbye” – 10,773 Points 8. T-ara – “Day By Day” – 10,208 Points 9. B2ST – “Beautiful Night” – 10,108 Points 10. PSY ft. Park Jung Hyun – “What Should Have Been” – 8,949 Points Yeah!! despite it all... our girls are still clinging to the charts.. also Soyeon's "Haeundae Lovers" has aired and..... Soyeon's recieving mixed reviews for her acting... I'm taking this as a good news, its her first try, the drama is still ongoing so she still got time to improve and atleast people are commenting on her acting and not threatening to burn down the TV Station for airing a "tainted" T-ara member.. I always thought Soyeon was much better in variety shows anyway, hope this all scandal will not reign in her sassy sharp wit that I love so much...

  19. What I get from this whole dibacle, especially from articles regarding parents protesting about T-ara's bullying, is that bullying is a serious problem in Korea right now.. its a problem that needs to be adressed and then along came the T-ara controversy.. T-ara was the perfect target to be made as an example that "bullying" is wrong.. its a high-profile group which has rocketed to stardom in just a short time but not considered as a "national level" group since its fanbase is not that established yet.. Its a group with a huge gap in popularity and workload among members.. Its a group with an agency that has a lot of bad reputation in the past and present. They aren't the best singers and dancers and yet they get hit after hit after hit, including much love in Japan and even nation-wide spotlight in shows like Star Life Theatre (ahead of Super Junior I might add).. T-ara was just too perfect of a target.. My fear is that the public would think that since bullying is such an important issue, "what's the harm in sacrificing one idol girl group, no matter if their guilty or not, as an example to others that bullying is wrong?"
  20. Don't know if this airing is a good or bad thing for T-ara's case but, I always wonder why the Koreans put so much interest on people commenting on message boards... I mean every article ends up with "Netizens said this.." or "netizens said that.." The netizen could be a clueless 13-year old with a chip on her block and thinks Jiyeon & Eunjeung's bitchy drama characters are real.. or a lonely 15-year old boy with multiple internet IDs and a hunger for any attention..
  21. Now.. if he only would resign.. but first get a real PR expert, hold a press conference, make a video presentation to compare "the evidences" vs. real truth, and clear the air.. then get a talk show appearance for the girls or documentary show to seal the deal..
  22. Well the Antis.. are eating up this story again in AllKpop.. I don't know why I even go there anymore.. I'm such a masochist
  23. I totally agree... Allkpop did more than just translate.. they "picked & chose" articles that they know will fuel the fire and during the heat of the firestorm did not translated any that were the voice of reason.. The only good article wasn't translated news but actually an Op-ed wrote by an English speaking writer. Only now that things have calmed down a bit, AKP is starting to post one or two articles that atleast show support for T-ara but lets see if it lasts..
  24. Wow.. if you really are TheProphetBlog.. I would like to humbly bow my head to you sir for the awesomeness of that article...
