I could be mistaken but just check out the camera time allotment of Jiyeon vs Boram during their Japanese TV performances.. (and she doesn't even have that much lines to sing...)

Afterschool had a live stream on youtube for their concert in Japan.. I would really love if CCM would do the same thing for T-ara

Really guys, I don't think that this was a flop.. T-ara is still new in Japan and you can't expect them to pass the top 5 mark every time they debut a new song.. being able to get a #1 for Bo Peep was an extraordinary astounding accomplishment (which why they keep on mentioning it whenever T-ara guests in TV shows there..).. it was a historic first time for a foreign girl band and not something you expect to repeat every three months or so.. Even at #9, how many other acts from Japan, America, Britain, and even Korea did they they actually surpassed in the charts? Hundreds! To give it a bit more of perspective they even beat fellow CCM act: Supernova! (at #8 with Stupid Love) And those guys have been in Japan for years and have a serious fan base there.. 19k sales (just for the debut.. its still selling) without the expenses of producing, choreographing, wardrobe-ing, training etc. a new song still equals a heck load of moolah for our girls.. They haven't passed SNSD and Kara but still light years ahead of 4minute, Secret and Rainbow (which debuted earlier) in Japan.. I am also not really worried about T-ara not using original japanese songs yet since they still need to introduce their unique sound to the J-public. SNSD's Mr. Taxi was awesome (which is why they brought it back to Korea) but I really don't like any of Kara's Japanese songs and I am worried that T-ara will also get similar J-duds.. can't wait for the new album for the girls to prove me wrong... My real gripe about T-ara's promotion strategy in Japan is that they are known for being the "chameleons" of K-pop.. you got "Lies", "Bo Peep," "IGCBOY" "Like the Begining" "CryCry" etc.etc. they go from cute to sexy to cool concepts. But for Japan? Bo Peep followed by YaYaYa followed by Roly Poly followed by Lovey Dovey.. thats cute to cute all the way... And I would like to shoot the guy who put the K-version of Roly Poly in the Yayaya singles CD just months from actually releasing the Japanese Roly Poly single.. PS: Anyone else think it would be AWESOME to see Supernova and the girls get back together for a Japanese version of "Time to Love (3?)"

Oooh.. reading the explanations I'm slowly getting to accept QUEEN'S... for all the fan boys out there it's not that bad.. just think ourselves like the Queen of England's Queen's Own Regiments... We will be the regiments of fans behind our Queens and we shall be legion..... although it probably make more sense if the fan club is called QUEENS' (apostrophe in the back)

I'm confused... isn't the fan club called 'Queens'? Tarathenas sounds better (since I'm a guy) but I agree its a bit long and not that catchy..

You know what's funny? The T-ara girl's are probably the only idol group that have fans rooting for them to have 'less' activities instead of more apperances It just shows you how popular our girls are and how much their fans care for them..

You know out of the dozens of CCM and LOENT staff at least one should've noticed that it's "Day One" and "Day Two" not "One Day" and "Two Day"

Was amazed on how Hwayoung looked so tall in this picture.. then I noticed that she was the only one wearing high heels..

You know as much as I hate the CEO, CCM is not just one man.. One thing that makes T-ara shine over other girlbands, besides their natural charm and talent is that they have great support... All of the struggling girlbands would've killed to get their hands on T-ara's song writers, producers, choreographers, promotion conceptors. wardrobe and make up stylists and even that big teddy-bear like manager of theirs... not to mention the busy marketing team that could make those superhuman scheduling (dramas, events, cf deals, variety shows) even possible... Like it or not that's CCM. If they change their agency, T-ara will be totally different and it won't be just the number of their members...

Well the silver lining in this whole ordeal is that Soyeon finally gets to lead a 9-member girl band again after resigning from proto-SNSD years ago.. (It would be hilarious if all of this is actually part of her secret evil master plan.. )

An allkpop article mentioned that this maybe targeted to compete with SNSD in the Japanese market.... that's stupid if its true.. to compete, instead of copying the numbers of SNSD members, CCM should copy how more evenly SNSD distributes song parts and spotlights to its members.. (which also involves better vocal training and showcases for Qri, Boram and Hwayoung...)

Love to see Soyeon's still in high spirits despite the accident (why is there no news on this?).. from the photos and videos she looked just like a cheerful and supportive school teacher... she even dressed the part !

Freedom, with the Big Boss tagging along? I'd bet a dollar that Soyeon came out with the trip's name...

Well it gotta be freezing out there with only mini skirts.. and 'food over flowers' Boram tends to wind down when her energy levels are low... somebody needs to give her a snack stat to perk her up again! Then again the photographer may have just missed the all smiles shot...
