[12.04.11] T-ara signs a separate contract with an agency specialized in acting

You know as much as I hate the CEO, CCM is not just one man.. One thing that makes T-ara shine over other girlbands, besides their natural charm and talent is that they have great support...

All of the struggling girlbands would've killed to get their hands on T-ara's song writers, producers, choreographers, promotion conceptors. wardrobe and make up stylists and even that big teddy-bear like manager of theirs... not to mention the busy marketing team that could make those superhuman scheduling (dramas, events, cf deals, variety shows) even possible... Like it or not that's CCM.

If they change their agency, T-ara will be totally different and it won't be just the number of their members...

I'm glad that they're expanding and all, but they should remember that music is and should be their main gig. It's not like they're taking acting on a small scale either. I would rather see T-ara pushing out more full albums rather than a mix of these mini or repackage albums.

And yet, all those composers, producers, choreographers, promotion concept artists and wardrobe/makeup stylists are working under the thumb of KKS, or at least contracted/hired to do so. It's not as if ALL of them are on T-ara's side. While they do much of the support/logistics work, ultimately, they're not the ones who represent CCM.

I'd imagine some aren't too happy with that numbskull's recent decision and even opposed to it but then again, they obviously don't want to risk getting fired or transferred somewhere else with smaller paychecks. Though if T-ara moves, I don't mind if the staff that supported them would follow behind.

Given T-ara's popularity right now, I'd also doubt that if they changed agencies, they'd end up being a completely different group because it'll make the said agencies hardly any different to KKS's decision (and even LOEN Entertainment seems quite displeased with KKS)

little by little.... T-ara's decisions little by little... but in a good fast pace so to speak

honestly "idols" can considered as "titles" for their preparation to be either a full music artist or stage/movie/drama actors/actresses.

idols = "pre-"actor / "pre-"musical artist. probably the trend in the entertainment industry.

what a great oppurtunity for the girls to expand and develop into greater idols, i really think KKS takes T-ara for granted but i'm glad that T-ara signed the contract

Hope this means that they can act sometime this year, I was devastated when CCM stated that they will cease acting activities

T-ara fighting :)

its a bit off topic, but has soyeon done acting? i never saw her acting ,,,

i really anticipating her acting in drama or movie,,, :D

Actually, Soyeon was going to debut as an actress this year in the movie 'Mama, Don't Cry'. I don't really know when it will be released though.

I'm really glad that T-ara has signed the contract. I look forward in seeing them debut as actresses, not only as singers. I think it'll also boost up their popularity too. Just hope they won't be too stressed out from working so much. Hwaiting, T-ara! ^^

Honestly, I think it a little bit weird...

Cause around on February, It's said that T-ara will rest on acting for this year..

But Now, it's announced that T-ara has signed a new contract....

Great then!!!!!!

Let's wait for their drama....

I Hope maybe around 2 until 3 members, will join the same drama...

Wow! i think that's a really good move by kss to let the girls join a specialised agency! It would help so much for the girls to get into the field more smoothly and better!

Though there are many resentments towards kss...i really hope that these moves to help the girls grow in the industry continues to come from kss!!!

T-ara fighting!!!!

Grab these chances and become the next phenomenon!! <3

I have mixed feelings on this.

For one, it is highly likely that this Management Koo is another arm of CCM (or MNET), and this contract is just another way to latch them in and never let them go. ( I so hope not.) I'm still bitter about the T-ara changes that'll happen and honestly, I would celebrate the day that 7-ara moves completely away from CCM, whenever that maybe. (Hopefully soon!)

On another hand, I want to be optimistic that CCM, after all, did want T-ara to maximize their potentials as actresses and signing up with another agency will help them in this goal.
