Guess who is under the Diadem Spotlight this time? Another fan artist that had been around the fandom for a long period of time now and also very well-known for her “Chibi” style of drawing T-ARA members, @ssoqri or also more popularly known by her alias: Mia! Without further ado, let’s get straight to the questions to know more about her, shall we?

Q: How did you become a T-ARA fan?

I saw Hyomin on Invincible Youth with Sunny! She was really cute and funny so I became her fan. I decided to look up the group she was in and fell in love with T-ara.

Q: Who is your ultimate bias and why?

Qri ~ She doesn’t say much, but when she does it always leaves an impact. She’s really quiet and reserved, but when she comes out of her shell she’s so cute and wonderful. ;w;

Q: How much does your bias influence your life?

A lot actually. She’s the reason I started working because I want to meet her this year. 🙂

Q: If given a chance to have a chat with her, what is three things you would want to say?

1. I would tell her she’s T-ara’s hidden gem. Not many people can see how amazing she is but they will.

2. She should speak more. I love hearing her talk.

3. I would also tell her that I love her and will support her forever. ❤

Q: Which member do you most enjoy drawing and why?

I think I’ve drawn Qri and Jiyeon the most. Qri is my bias so I always love drawing her. Jiyeon wears a lot of cute outfits that I want to try drawing.

Q: What inspires you to draw so many fan art pieces of T-ARA?

When I see a really cute picture if them, a drawing idea will pop into my head and I just draw. T-ara is my inspiration.

Q: Can you describe your style of fan art drawing?

Super kawaii chibi chibi. My fanart style is very cutesy (the complete opposite of me in real life).

Q: Any advice to fan artists that look up to you and admire your style?

Practice every day!! I’ve gotten questions before on how I draw my chibis and it’s really just a lot of trial and error. It’s difficult to find your own style that you are comfortable with so just keep experimenting. It took me 4 years to find my style! ^^;; You can do it!

Q: Which is your most prized and honored piece of fan art and why?

This is a really hard question…I guess I don’t really have a prized drawing. But if I were to choose my favorite….probably this:

Q: Do you draw any idols from other groups? If yes, please share some!

I have drawn a couple idols outside t-ara. Sojin from girl’s day:

Q: What would you say to T-ARA if they are really thankful of fans like you that draw them so adorably?

I would thank them first for inspiring me to draw. I actually gave up drawing for a while, but they inspired me to pick up my pen again. Then, I would tell them that I would continue to draw them as long as possible. 😀

Q: Last but not least, do you have any role models when it comes to drawing?

If we’re talking about T-ara fanartists, Kinoebe senpai & Giulia (Jiyesus)!! I want to draw like them. ;; They are so good please check out their drawings!
