Streaming on MelOn counts towards the digital charts, however it is done in a specific way. Only one play per hour is counted towards the MelOn charts, however there is no limit for the Gaon chart, which takes from MelOn and others.
The best way to tackle this: create a playlist, add T-ara’s currently promoted title track 10-15 times, add any remaining songs once. The total play time should be one hour or a little more . Depending upon the number of songs in the album and their length, adjust the number of times to add the title track as needed. Let the playlist play continuously; DO NOT alter any settings, lower the volume or scroll through the play.
This way, one play of the title track will be counted towards MelOn while the rest will be counted towards Gaon. When the playlist finishes and an hour has passed, it will start over automatically.
Always add songs from their album page, never from your downloaded songs folder.
Mobile
Open your MelOn app and log in. At the bottom you will find a Search icon. Tap and enter your search query on the next screen. Tap the Album tab to find the specific album you are looking for.
Scroll down to the song list and select one or all of the songs. Tap the + icon on the bottom to add the selected songs to a playlist.
You will first be asked to create a playlist or add to a currently existing playlist. Select the appropriate option. If you choose to create a new playlist, you will be asked to name it.
Once your selected songs have been added to a playlist, tap the playlist icon to view your playlist, where you can rearrange or delete songs.
PC
Open the MelOn player software and log into your account. Begin by entering you search query in the top search bar. A list of recognized artists, albums and songs should immediately show. Select T-ara (or solo member), from within their profile, select the latest album.
Select a song and click the + icon. You will be asked to create a playlist. After you have done so, click the + icon again and add the song to your recently created playlist or any other you may have.
Alternatively, you can double click a song and it will be added to the right sidebar playlist. You can also click and drag them into the sidebar (you can select all at once.)
