to translate, i use notepad. for timing and typesetting, we use aegisub... for encoding, we use virtualdub.

minute variety cuts means really small variety cuts. minute as an adjective, not a noun. lol. so translate like 30 second videos to practice. then after a while you'll get used to it and you'll be able to sub an hour worth of shows.

if your computer doesnt work to type korean, you probably have to install the languages from the boot disc. askk your parents if ever. if not, just google virtual korean keyboard, and you're pretty much set.

you can like, translate a 30 second one, as long as you're being practiced. i didnt know i could translate until i did that. just try to translate super minute variety cuts and then work your way up. if you dont know your words, just learn how to type korean, and then you can use a dictionary to translate the words you don't know.

haha well one thing you should do is actually try to listen to the things they're saying. since if you dont then your listening skills would be a little off (like mine). thats one thing i suggest you do. and the thing that would probably help you the most is if you probably get yourself a one minute cut of SGB or something, and then try to translate everything from that.

LOL its a long process. i've learned over a period of 4 years of being a kpopper. you just keep on watching raws, and remember your words when you watch it with subs. then you'll learn just like that~
