To be honest, I'm not surprised this has happened but I can't say that I'm disappointed. While I wouldn't have minded the children performing (especially since it was for such a short period of time), I wasn't particularly interested in it. Plus, this situation brought more controversy to an already sensitive situation involving T-ara so I think this was the best decision for them to make. I do, however, feel sorry for the children as I'm sure they worked hard and were looking forward to performing for the opening.

I personally believe that as long as the show and the parents of the children have consented to their performance, I don't think there should be much of a problem. M! Countdown most likely wouldn't have allowed the children to perform to the song if they felt that there would be a considerate amount of inappropriateness displayed that they could possibly receive backlash for. For the viewers who disagree about the inclusion of the children (whose point of view is understandable as well as far as the content of the song) the most effective way they can show their displeasure is by not watching the show.

From what I've read on various sites, some people feel that it is inappropriate for children to be performing to a song called "Sexy Love", even though "Little T-ara" is only performing the opening 35 seconds which is supposed to be the robotic dance (I guess it's more of the association with the song as far as it's lyrics and title rather than the dance moves they'll be performing themselves). Also, I've heard mention that M! Countdown has a +15 television rating so they feel that having underaged children on a show that's targeted towards people 15 and older is also not appropriate. Many people were also saying that they were using the children as a buffer so they wouldn't get booed or receive bad treatment from the audience since there are still a large number of people who still haven't forgiven them after the issuance of the apology. But to be honest, most of negative backlash and criticism stems from people still believing in the allegations of bullying and not forgiving them. A lot of people felt negatively about their apology being issued right before they announced their comeback so their sincerity has been questioned even before this announcement which is another contributant to some people's feelings towards this situation. In my opinion, everyone needs to just move forward. For those who don't support T-ara and don't forgive them, they need to focus their time and energy on things they do like and for those who support T-ara, they should be able to enjoy their comeback without the drama that arises with every move they make.

[12.08.30] T-ara to comeback with 7th mini-album "MIRAGE" on September 3rd
PrincessT-ara replied to nathaniel's topic in News
To be honest, I really dislike the cover. I think it could have been executed a lot better. Fortunately they corrected the "7st" to "7th" so it's a bit more bearable visually in that aspect. If the cover is going to be on the poster as well (which it usually is), I'm going to buy the CD without the poster and buy the "Day by Day" poster separately since it's the last poster with Hwayoung on it and that cover looks a lot better than this one. -
[12.08.30] T-ara to comeback with 7th mini-album "MIRAGE" on September 3rd
PrincessT-ara replied to nathaniel's topic in News
I just can't with that "7st". I hope someone fixes the error before it's printed because it's very distracting, lol. I can't even focus on anything else, it's the first thing that catches my attention every time I look at that cover. -
I really appreciate that the girls took the time to write a handwritten, genuine apology that was heartfelt and addressed everything that needed to be said in order to clarify the issue. While I understand that no one is perfect and that everyone has their times where they make mistakes and do things that they regret (we're all human after all), I appreciate that they can admit their faults, reflect and learn from them, move forward in a more positive direction, apologize and support (and also encourage others to support) Hwayoung moving forward (and that she can do the same for them). I believe in forgiveness when people take responsibility for their actions and use the hard times they face as tools to build a brighter future and grow to be better people from their experiences. I fully accept their apology and hope others can as well as we would want others to forgive us when we are truly sorry for our actions. So I hope that people can find it in their heart to forgive them and support T-ara and Hwayoung moving forward.

[12.08.03] CEO Kim Kwangsoo to T-Jinyo: "Come meet with me"
PrincessT-ara replied to nathaniel's topic in News
I agree with you. His intention with this meeting is not to prove their innocence, it was to get some people that he could specifically target to either sue, give hush money to (or get them to sing his praises for the right price), or threaten in a private setting. If he'd come out and threaten his own group and try to destroy the character of someone who worked for him publicly, what makes you think he won't try this with a group who is trying to bring him down in a sense and behind closed doors at that? Nam Gyuri didn't call him a devil for no reason and the fact that this label under this CEO has had similiar incidents to this happen (not to this extent of course because the other groups weren't as popular) in the past speaks volumes as to what kind of operation KKS is running. -
[12.08.03] CEO Kim Kwangsoo to T-Jinyo: "Come meet with me"
PrincessT-ara replied to nathaniel's topic in News
Although I haven't read the comments or visited AllKpop regarding this news, I can understand why they are against a meeting and would rather have a press conference. If I were KKS, I would call these three representatives to my office, offer them an amount of money they couldn't refuse, and then send them off with a script of what to say in order to ensure that my best interests were met. If they were in a press conference setting, where they would probably be asked more questions than what they could be prepared for to answer ahead of time (if the questions were direct and required specifics rather than ambiguous answers), the likelihood of getting honest, non orchestrated responses would slightly increase. Either way, people are going to interpret it how they want to interpret regardless of how it's done. -
[12.08.01] Kim Kwangsoo, "I met with Hwayoung for 30 minutes"
PrincessT-ara replied to Elly's topic in News
If she really said that, that was not a nice comment to make. Even if she felt that way, to down another group's mental capability is very unprofessional. Those kind of opinions should be kept to herself. -
[12.08.01] Kim Kwangsoo, "I met with Hwayoung for 30 minutes"
PrincessT-ara replied to Elly's topic in News
I'm still not understanding how Hwayoung is sole cause of this situation, according to him. People are mainly upset about the bullying allegations, not her not performing on the show. Also, she never accused them of bullying her, that it was what people inferred from the twitter messages between her and the other members of T-ara who were involved. -
I have somewhat of a doubt that he would end her contract with anything connected to this situation. It would look really bad on his end as he said that the twitter situation (aka bullying) had nothing to do with his decision to terminate Hwayoung's contract. He said Hwayoung was solely being let go due to not performing, which has nothing to do with Hyoyoung. It would look really suspicious if he decided to end her contract for a situation that didn't have anything to do with Hyoyoung since he is using the Hwayoung's non performance as the only reason for her termination.

With her sister still being under CCM, she might feel the need to try to stay on his good side for the sake of her sister. While I can't speak for others or say that this is the exact reason, I would do it if I had a sibling whose well being would be my first priority if I was no longer there. What is she going to do, make him mad so that her sister could suffer the consequences with no way out except a termination and the end of her hard work put in to become a singer?

[12.08.01] Core Contents Media, "Dani will not join T-ara early"
PrincessT-ara replied to nathaniel's topic in News
While this is good to know, releasing news about Dani in the mist of all that is going on is probably the last thing people want to hear right now. People are more concerned about what's going on with the current members to be focusing on when Dani is joining. -
I don't understand how she could feel that he was so good to her after he criticized her on more than one occassion and threatened her publicly. Even other T-ara members have spoken up in the past that he hasn't always treated them fairly. And is it just me or would anyone else have been creeped out if a car rolled up next to them and their sibling and then the person got out and said "I'm a reporter, hello." in the middle of the night?

[12.08.01] Over dramatic? "T-ara and Hwayoung both shed tears last night"
PrincessT-ara replied to nathaniel's topic in News
If this happened last night, shouldn't they have made this statement earlier to let people know that the girls had communicated with each other? -
[12.08.01] Hwayoung apologized to CEO Kim Kwangsoo in tears
PrincessT-ara replied to nathaniel's topic in News
So is she not being accepted back into the group? If that's the case, he pulled a bait and switch on her. He told her that she could rejoin the group when she apologized and when she did apologize, he didn't keep his word like he said. All he wanted to do was have her apologize to make her look like the bad person with no real intentions of taking her back. That was a shiesty move on his end and quite low, even for him. To dangle the opportunity of a 19 year old to continue her singing career if she apologized and then change his story when she fell for his antics is very sad and makes it look like he played on her emotions and took advantage of her. And to be quite honest, she really had no reason to apologize as she never accused T-ara of bullying. She never said anything bad about them even when her name was being dragged through the mud with press release and press release coming out with KKS criticizing her character. There's no word to describe how sad this is. -
[12.07.31] CEO Kim Kwangsoo, "Hwayoung brought this upon herself"
PrincessT-ara replied to nathaniel's topic in News
There's been stories surfacing that Hwayoung's sweet and courteous as compared to the other members. When they said this to you, why didn't you use this opportunity to defend the characters of the other girls and say anything about them being sweet and courteous as well? You completely deflected the statement by stating that you did an investigation of one case that you said that the police found to be untrue (the same police who came out and said that you never contacted them). Hwayoung's removal from T-ara is not due to bullying, but because a refusal to appear on a live TV music program on the 27th." So her contract was terminated because she refused to appear on ONE music program? Isn't this a bit extreme for someone who is injured at this time and has been seen using a crutches and a wheelchair to get around? — Through a police investigation, we learned the rumor was created by kids. If this was done through a police investigation, why did the police department themselves release a statement saying that you never contacted them? "In the other T-ara members' perspective, being the one who joined the latest (Hwayoung) and causing an issue was not something they wanted to see. Hwayoung's personality is tough and somewhat manly. [Therefore], living with the T-ara members was a little difficult for her. So of course, the other T-ara members will also have some problems with that because they're not able to adapt well with her." What does her not being as feminine as the other girls have to do with her having a difficult living situation with the other girls? f(x)'s Amber is a tomboy and she gets along fine with her fellow members. And also, you just hinted around to the fact that the girls from T-ara had an issue with her because she was the latest member who joined and they didn't like the fact that fact that they were getting a new member as it was "causing an issue". You're giving people amo to assume that they didn't like her addition and that they could have taken this out on her through the alleged bullying. "Staff members are underpaid and are hurt by everything happening now also. A person who is close to Hwayoung even sent a message out of hate to a T-ara member." If you know that your staff members are underpaid, why don't you pay them a higher salary? It's really sad that you know they are underpaid and that they deserve more yet you didn't increase their pay. "[What happened] started out as something like a joke amongst young people If you knew it was a joke, why didn't you clarify this a long time ago instead of saying that it was hackers? You released a statement days after the tweeting incident so you had enough time to identify who the tweets came from and state it in your first announcement. But if people publish information [with no proper proof] whatsoever, that just causes more trouble to stir. Sounds like the pot calling the kettle black. What proper proof have you provided throughout the statements that you released yourself? T-ara will continue [to attend to] their schedules as planned." Then why has all of the appearances been canceled? -
We don't know if she apologized because she's guilty (she never denied or confirmed the bullying), we don't know if she apologized because her sister is still under the control of CCM and she is doing this to protect her (if CCM really did go to her house and spoke with her parents, we have no idea what he really said), and we also don't know if she's apologizing because she feels sorry that things have gone this far. Unless she clarifies her apology and is more specific, we can't be 100% certain what she is apologizing for and why. At this point, I could care less about all of these smoke screens and ambiguous messages. What I want to hear are specific confirmation from Hwayoung or the members of T-ara directly stating that there was bullying involved or there wasn't any bullying.

Why am I not surprised to hear that this is another lie from CCM? He wants the media to stop releasing "fake" reports regarding T-ara but then the police department has to call them out on releasing fake information. He just keeps ruining his credibiltiy more and more (not that he really had any left at this point ).
