  1. Just like they went after the "hackers" right? And will he quit it with saying that he's trying to protect Hwayoung as well like he's some good guy? Why is he trying to protect someone who he said has hurt so many people and then he has also talked bad about as well? While I'm happy that he is going to address the people who are spreading false information, he's really getting on my nerves.
  2. If her absence was decided prior to this happening, why didn't they address this before? Announcing that a cast member will be unable to attend the press conference the day before when they knew ahead of time that she wasn't going to attend doesn't make a lot of sense.
  3. KKS can't save T-ara. He can't even save hisself. The only people who can save T-ara are the remaining members who are accused of the allegations in the first place. While addressing the issue may be a bit futile at this time, keeping quiet isn't helping either. At least if they came out and said something, at least they could say they tried, especially for the fans who still remain by their side.
  4. No one has been fueling the fire more than KKS himself with all of the contradictory statements that he has been releasing since his initial announcement. I highly doubt that he approached her parents and made them "understand" that their children were the sole wrong doers in this situation as he was slinging Hwayoung's name through the mud while Hwayoung hasn't released anything directly bashing the character of KKS or T-ara except that she was saying that his initial announcement was not 100% true. KKS, stop putting up smoke and mirrors and give the fans the one thing they are asking for: allow T-ara to speak for themselves regarding this issue and give them the opportunity to defend themselves if the bullying allegations are false. Taking into consideration all of the articles that have been released from him, there are too many holes in his stories to take anything that he is saying with a grain of salt. He keeps digging himself and T-ara into a depper hole with every word that he says. There is no consistency between his actions and his statements and at this point, he should really just shut up. If her parents understand anything, it's that her being able to get out of her contract without punishment (which I still question because if he is as terrible as he's said, why did he let her get off so easy? KKS isn't that nice) is nothing short of a blessing.
  5. If I was Hwayoung, I wouldn't go back. The only reason he's asking her to rejoin is because of the backlash the group has gotten that has been spinning out of control. Had her exiting the group gone peacefully, he wouldn't even be giving her the option to rejoin. What a jerk!
  6. At what point are the girls going to take it upon themselves to attempt to address this issue at the face of their apparent downfall? Their moral character is being called into question. Although it's possible that KKS is telling them not to speak on this issue, KKS cannot save them as he has already shown that all he can do is make a situation worse. At this point, they need to do what they have to to save themselves. Not only are they being judged based on his stupidity, but people are looking at how they're handling this situation as individuals. This situation should have been nipped in the bud when this issue first arose. Sitting back and saying nothing and allowing people to speculate without ever trying to prove their innocence makes them look guilty. If they want people to give them a chance and to look at this situation objectively, they have to express their side of the story regarding the tweets. How long do you expect for people not to draw their own conclusions if days have passed without any explanation released specifically from them? And the longer this goes on, the worse it's going to get. Even if they can't regain all of the fans they've lost or if many people don't believe them, they at least owe their fans who are sticking next to them an explanation instead of leaving them in the dark. Regardless, this a big mess and although I wish them the best, I don't know how they're going to come back from this, especially if they continue to stay silent. Hopefully, they'll release a statement soon but honestly, that should have been done today if not when the bullying allegations first came out.
  7. This is embarassing. As much as I hate to say it, this is looking like the beginning of the end.
  8. "After refusing to go on stage, on her way home, in front of fans and reporters, Hwayoung threw her crutches and threatened to start screaming in front of everyone to her manager. Additionally, she acted beyond the control of her managers, and this was witnessed by fans and reporters on scene at Music Bank." So fans and reporters saw her throw crutches and scream in front of everyone yet there have been no reports or videos released to back up this claim? I This is the funniest thing I've heard today. I would love to see this.
  9. Although I am disappointed and saddened by this situation and how it's been handled, I can't honestly say I'm surprised by it (I'm more surprised that it was done publicly more than anything). It was only a matter of time taking into consideration the stressful conditions that the girls are under. While the girls have to be held accountable for their own actions if any wrongdoing is involved, the environment that they're in as well as the CEO they're under breeds these types of situations and behaviors to occur. That's why as angry as I am at them for putting themselves in this situation and causing backlash for themselves by not coming out to clarify this information as soon as they saw the negative responses pouring in, I feel sorry for them as well as they are all the victims of bullying. It is a well known fact that KKS has tried to threaten and bully them into submission for some time now and this may be the result or their way of fighting back as well as displaced anger if those messages were negatively directed at Hwayoung if she hasn't played a role in this as well. Despite understanding how they feel, they went about it the wrong way if that was their purpose as they've sacrificed their own images in the process. In all honesty, I'm starting to wonder if this is all worth it anymore. If things don't move in a more positive direction going forward, is us hearing their music in the future worth more than their unhappiness in this situation they're in? The only positive solution I could see to fix this problem is for them to move to another record label but has their image been tarnished to the point where another big label would be afraid to take them on due to all of the backlash they've received? Because regardless of the information that will be released from the CEO when he addresses this issue, people are either going to assume that it was a misunderstanding or believe that any positive spin he may try to put on this situation is just trying to save face to not cause any further damage.
  10. While I may be in the minority who feels this way, IF the allegations of bullying turn out to be true, I cannot honestly say that I can give my full support or have full respect for the members who did the bullying. I am not willing to sacrifice my morals and standards to support anyone who participates in that kind of behavior and anyone who does should feel ashamed of themselves. In my opinion, supporting the behavior makes a person just as guilty as the one who participates in it. While I understand that no one is perfect and that everyone has their moments of weakness, it should not be tolerated or considered okay just because they are "T-ara". Bullying is not okay under any circumstances, whether you're a celebrity or not and they should not be held to a level above anyone else in that regard. However, if it does turn out true, and they sincerely apologize, change their behavior, and become proactive in promoting that bullying isn't okay and isn't something to be taken lightly, I'd be more than happy to forgive them. I'm a firm believer in forgiving people and giving people a second chance if they put forth an honest effort to better themselves as people can change and improve if they want to. As much as everyone is dreading how this situation is going to be handled, it does need to be addressed in some form or another. Because if it's not handled properly moving forward, things are only going to get worse than they already have. While I have to admit that this situation is showing them in a very unfavorable light, I'm trying to stay as neutral as possible regarding the information that we've been given until more facts are released. Overall though, I do think that this situation has been handled terribly on everyone's part and I hope they are are able to clarify and rectify this situation in the best way possible so that all of the parties involved can move forward in a positive direction. Although I hate to bring this up as this situation is already disheartening enough as it is, it hasn't been addressed here yet to my knowledge (sorry if it has, I haven't been keeping up with the thread too much). Unfortunately, there is currently an official petition on the popular Korean site "Daum" which is calling for the disbandment of the group. It already has thousands of signatures that have been growing in number by the minute: http://bbs3.agora.me...me#commentFrame
  11. To be honest, I'm quite concerned about this announcement in light of the Twitter situation that arose recently. I'm hoping that the news is positive but with all of the negativity surrounding them as well as the fact that this is news from KKS (who never seems to report anything good), my confidence about this turning out good is quite low.
  12. The video is great as always but I too wish they would have allowed other members who aren't featured as much to star in the video as well. They've all signed contracts to act and it would have been a great opportunity for them to be able to use this video to let their acting skills shine in order to book acting jobs like Jiyeon and Eunjung for example. I'm assuming part 2 will be out when they release the repackage but I hope that they release a dance version for the song that could showcase Jonte's choreography (although we will see it in performances). Dani did good in her parts. I'm curious as to whether the other songs in the video will get music videos just as the songs that were featured in the "Cry Cry" and "Lovey Dovey drama versions. Either way, I'm looking forward to their performance on the 7th and am curious to see how Areum performs in the group.
  13. Thanks for posting the teaser, it looks like it's gonna be awesome! The ladies look stunning as usual and the plot looks to be well executed from the little we've seen. Hwayoung's rap sounds great as usual! Dani looks great as well, I hope my impression changes some about her in this video and over time I can grow to like her. She's rubbed me the wrong way with all those articles but I will give credit where credit is due if she can deliver. Plus, as much as I oppose the additions, I don't really want to dislike them and have those feelings overshadow other aspects of the group that I do like. I didn't stick around with them this long to ultimately be run away by newbies. I just hope that they can show us that their additions will prove to be useful as I'm sure that would make some of us feel a bit better.
  14. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the teaser as well as the full drama version when it's released. The choreography for this song is great and I've been practicing my moves so I really hope that they'll release a dance version as well, lol. I'm also looking forward to seeing how well Areum blends in with the rest of the girls.
  15. Sorry for the double post. I know it's wrong but I wanted to address my previous post and this post separately. I won't do it again and I'll edit my other post to include this one if requested by anyone who helps to run this forum. Her uncle being the CEO definitely helped, I can promise you that. I too wouldn't be surprised if her uncle had that person specifically seek her out to get her to auditon and ultimately join the company and not do it directly himself to avoid getting his hands completely dirty (there would have been a bigger uproar had he reached out to her hisself). Whenever someone is a friend or relative to someone in the business, or if they sleep with them or give them a good amount of money under the table, they are a shoe in. I've seen enough of that first hand and while it's shady, that's how they tend to operate sometimes. I definitely agree with you that this sort of reaction would have occured in any of the other popular groups under these circumstances. If SM ever did this to SNSD at this point in the game, I truly believe that blood would have been shed and that SM's headquarters would have been bombed, lol. The reaction of T-ara's fans to this change would pale in comparison. Same goes for Big Bang. There would really be a big bang at YG if they said and did half the things that KKS is doing.
  16. For those of you who have an issue with some of us voicing our opinions regarding the additions (especially if they aren't in favor of them), we have a right to voice them just as you have a right to voice your opinion. When we invest our time, money, and feelings into a group, we should not be told how we should feel or react to a situation when changes are being made that we may not agree with. It's rude and immature to tell others how you feel they should react based on how you feel, whether you agree with their reasoning or not. How would you feel if we did the same to you and told you how we think you have stupid reasons for your views which are just as opinion-based as ours? It wouldn't be our place to say that, just how it isn't yours just because we have opposing views. Besides the obvious reasons such as her age and the fact that most people are against these additions, the root cause of these ill feelings towards Dani specifically are these articles that have been coming out. People are forming their opinions of her based on what information is being released to the media and unfortunately, they have not painted her in the most positive light. At this time, this is all we have to go by until we actually can actually see what kind of contribution she'll be making to the group. And even then, if she continues to rub people the wrong way such as she is doing now, it's not going to be enough for some people as it takes more than just talent to be likable as a person. As much as I oppose these additions, I started to accept them a bit more as time went by. But when these articles started coming out, it dredged up the same ill feelings that I had when the announcement of their addition first came out, if not a bit more due hearing things such as Dani not having any interest in being a singer although she is being added to a popular group as well as hypocritical statements regarding when she wants to officially debut. Although I'm not crazy about Areum's addition either, not having to hear about her all the time prevents me from forming opinions about her until I actually see what she has to offer first, which was handled very well on her end as she'll be judged on her talent first and not on a bunch of useless articles that only make her addition even harder to accept.
  17. Sunny was a trainee at another company for 5 years prior to becoming a trainee at SM Entertainment. Someone at SM (not her uncle) convinced her to audition for her uncle's company where she then got accepted and trained for 9 months to ultimately debut in SNSD (I'm sure her uncle being the CEO helped though, lol).
  18. I completely agree with you. There's more to it than just simply allowing her to perform and officially join group activities earlier than planned. Although some people may complain about Areum keeping a low profile, I believe that she is doing the smart thing considering the initial reaction of fans upon hearing about her and Dani's addition. As we know, k-pop fans can be vicious, especially in a situation like this so it's best that she doesn't say too much to avoid putting a bigger target on her back. Overall though, she seems to be getting a more positive response considering her age, knowledge, and experience. As far as Dani, I believe that CCM and KKS have been handling her addition to the group in a way that causes more damage than good. Putting out articles regarding her nonexistant interest in becoming a singer, trying to proclaim how innocent she is as well as well as this story are more harmful than helpful (it's also pointless). It also makes a person a bit suspicious since it seems like they feel the need to be overbearing about how great she is while not really speaking on anything about even her natural singing ability or basic dancing skills. People see straight through what they're doing and it's backfiring. KKS and CCM have played this game time and time again and it's old and tired. We already know that Dani will be debuting in the group, there's no need to keep shoving it down our throats with a bunch of useless information we don't need to know.
  19. As someone who entered into the entertainment industry at a younger age than she is (and certainly not an industry as rough as the Korean music industry), I personally don't feel sorry for people who put themselves in a position such as her without taking the time to get educated on what the non-glamorous side of the industry entails (considering her age, her parents should have done this in her case) prior to making a decision. The only people who I feel sorry for are the children whose parents force them to be in the industry despite their desires not to be. It's not about being immature, it's about being realistic and being mature enough to understand the good and the bad of what type of situation you're getting yourself into and how it's going to affect you as well as those who are working around you. If you can't take the bad with the good, being in the entertainment industry is not the place to be if you can't handle it. At least Areum wanted to be a singer and should have great knowledge of what she is getting into since she has parents who worked in the industry. Dani, on the other hand, had no desire to be a singer prior to being scouted and is starting with zero experience yet she wants to be on stage in less than half a year's worth of training. And she most likely knows the negative impact her joining the group has had on the fans yet she wants to start performing earlier instead of allowing the fans time to gradually get used to her being in a group and officially debuting later. Let's be real, her main concern is being on stage and basking in the limelight. If she felt otherwise, she would have stuck to what she said before about wanting to focus more on training instead of doing a complete 180 and asking to perform earlier than she was originally intended. I'll give her one thing, she's pretty bold to ask the CEO to change his plans about the time when she's supposed to come out. He better be careful with her, especially if she's the type to be bold and speak out on things she doesn't agree with or doesn't like (you know how much he hates that). Although it rubbed me the wrong way, I appreciate her honesty as I like seeing a person's true colors rather than them just saying some crap to make them look good (like that turning down beauty campaign offers to focus on training BS that I suspect CCM of making up to make her look so desirable).
  20. Here comes the whiny 14 year old, who had no interest or prior training in singing or dancing before being selected to be in the group, wanting to be on stage with established members in less than half a year of training. She clearly just wants to get all the fame and attention that T-ara has earned over the years without having to wait until December to do it. She wants to get on stage so she can hear people cheer for her and shout out her name without a clear understanding of how the Korean music industry works as well as how she'll possibly be perceived. I feel quite sorry for her as she comes across as not having a clue about what she's getting into. I seriously hope they reconsider her joining the group as she seems to be giving CCM a headache already with her request. She has no regard of how her joining the group can affect the others and is solely concerned about getting on stage just to be there. Exactly what I'd expect out of a 14 year old but not a future member of T-ara.
  21. Honestly, I think he's just being nasty because the girls have expressed displeasure in the way that they are being handled and treated. And to show them that he has authority, he's threatening to change the dynamics of the group at the peak of their popularity to show that he's the boss and that if they want to complain about anything (even as simple as wanted a well deserved vacation), he can take away everything that they've worked for and do it at a time when their popularity is skyrocketing. He's on a powertrip and his ego is blocking him out from making wise decisions. If he makes the wrong moves, it's going to backfire in his face.
  22. While I'm normally not the type of person to use really dramatic language when it comes to my favorite artists, I can honestly say that I'm close to devastated about this news. I seriously want to cry. I've become really attached to the members and their music and to think that some of them could possibly be replaced (or even that they'll add new members) and that their musical style will change is beyond unbelievable to me right now. As much as I hate to say it, if they will be completely abandoning the sound that they've created (I don't mind it evolving or even trying new things but to completely abandon their style) and changing out members and adding new members which could possibly make this a completely different type of group, I will no longer be a fan. I will be a fan of today's T-ara but not the new group. If this is seriously going to happen, I wish that T-ara's current members and group as a whole would leave CCM and go to another record label who would allow them to continue on the successful path that's gotten them where they are.
  23. Core Contents Media has released an announcement stating that the release date of the MV has been moved to January 2nd. http://www.tiaradiadem.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19534
