Hello everyone! djsammy here with a new fic. this is my second attempt at writing a fic. my first one is called Love is... and it's about Eunmin if you want to check it out or whatever. this fic will be sunbyung plus others which i am still trying to piece together hehe. anyway i'll let you get on with reading, this is the first chapter. oh and if you want in on the PM list then just ask, i'll gladly put you on.

Chapter 1

There was loud banging on the door as the lump under the covers of the bed stirred. “Hey Hyomin wake up! You’re going to be late!” Hyomin could hear her cousin shout through the door. She groggily climbed off her bed and opened the door of her room. “Aigoo, look at you. You just woke up and school’s going to start in 20 minutes.”

Hyomin rubbed her eyes before looking eye to eye with her cousin Qri. “We live a block away from campus. I could walk there in less than 5 minutes.” Hyomin said back. Qri shrugged her shoulders before walking into the kitchen. Hyomin yawned and stretched on her way to the bathroom to start her daily routine.

“Isn’t your friend Jiyeon moving in with us today? When is she going to be here?” Qri asked her cousin while checking the cupboards. “After I get off of school around three or four.” Hyomin replied.

It had actually been only five months since Hyomin moved in with Qri. Having a love for photography, Hyomin decided to attend an art university. Since Qri lived close to the university Hyomin wanted to enroll in she thought it would be a good idea to move in with her cousin.

The door of Qri’s room opened revealing a small, petite girl. “I’ll cook breakfast Qri!” She ran over to the kitchen to prep ingredients for the meal while Qri let her do what she wanted and sat at the table waiting. The small girl’s name was Boram, Qri’s roomate. Despite her looking like a cute elementary kid Boram was actually older than the two cousins.

Hyomin finished with her morning routine and sat at the table to eat with the other two. “Do you have work today Qri?” Hyomin asked. Qri shook her head saying it was her day off. “They’re doing some remodeling at the club today.”

Hyomin quickly placed her bowl in the sink after realizing there was only 5 minutes until school would start. She grabbed her bag and dashed out the door so she wouldn’t be late.

“Here is your bag miss Sunny.” A maid bowed while holding the bag out for Sunny. She smiled then took the bag and walked out the door meeting her chauffer. “How are you today miss Sunny?” He said with a smile. “I’m fine thank you.” Sunny replied in a very polite manner.

She hopped in the car then answered her ringing phone. It was her best friend Taeyeon. The girl was already at the school waiting for Sunny. “Alright Taeyeon I’ll be there in a few.” Sunny put her phone away and read the newspaper.

“MS Entertainment has done it again. Their new girl group has already won several awards for their debut song which is an amazing feature for any rookie singer group. If it’s talent you’re looking for then MSE is the company to search .”

Sunny finished reading the article then tossed the paper aside. The news didn’t surprise her, after all it was her who scouted the members of that group. “Miss Sunny you have a lunch date with your father this evening.” Sunny nodded understanding then stared out the window of the car.

Her father was Lee Man Soo, CEO of MS Entertainment. The one and only MS Entertainment known for managing some of Korea’s most successful entertainers. Sunny often helped with her father’s company, she had an ear for talent.

The car stopped at the front entrance of the university and her chauffer opened the door. Sunny stepped out and saw her best friend, Taeyeon, by the front steps. She joined her friend and the two were on their way to class. “You’re later than usual today, something happen?” Taeyeon asked.

“I was watching auditions all last night.” Sunny explained.

“You always do what your dad tells you to do.” Taeyeon was calling her a daddy’s girl.

Sunny pushed it aside. “It’s the only way to not have him nag at me.” She defended herself. They eventually made it to the classroom, making a late entrance. The teacher dismissed them and they took their seats at the back of the room.

Hyomin stretched in her chair and rubbed her thighs feeling the soreness from running in the morning. It was lunch time and her stomach was growling loudly. Just when she thought she couldn’t take it anymore, two girls came to sit at her table. “What took you so long Eunjung!” Hyomin quickly grabbed the food Eunjung had bought for her.

“The line was long.” Eunjung simply said taking her seat. Hyomin had met Eunjung on the first day of school and they became good friends ever since. She was majoring in dance and is quite popular with the boys and girls.

The other girl placed her tray on the table and sat in a seat. “Actually Eunjung couldn’t decide on what to eat.” She said. It was Gyuri, Eunjung’s friend from high school. She was majoring in modeling and is well known around campus as Goddess Gyuri for her stunning good looks.

The phone in Hyomin’s pocket beeped with a new text message. It was Jiyeon asking for directions to the apartment. She sent the directions through text then went back to eating. “Hey are you guys busy?” She asked her two friends.

They both shook their heads. “Can you help me after school? My friend is moving in with me and she has a lot of luggage.” Both agreed to help later in the evening since they had nothing better to do.

The school day quickly went by and ended. Hyomin led her friends to her apartment and showed them around. Qri appeared from her room seeing the new faces. “This is my cousin Qri.” Hyomin was introducing her friends to Qri. “These are my friends from school, Eunjung and Gyuri.”

They both greeted and bowed to the older girl. Qri scanned Gyuri up and down. “You’re really pretty.” She said before moving on to Eunjung. “You’re good looking too.”

Hyomin quickly moved between her friends and her cousin. “I know what you’re thinking Qri and I’m telling you no.” She said.

On the outside Qri looked like an innocent and pure girl but she was actually the complete opposite of that image. She was a real player and liked to pick up women in the club she worked at. Often times she wouldn’t arrive home until late the next morning.

Qri got the message that Hyomin didn’t want her messing with the two girls then left to watch TV in the living room. “She’s really pretty. Her name is cute too.” Eunjung said to Hyomin. “She’s ok, above average.” Gyuri gave her opinion.

“Anyway I think Jiyeon is here, she just texted me saying she’s outside.” Hyomin said as she went to the door to leave and fetch her friend. When she came back with Jiyeon, Hyomin introduced her to everyone.

“Hello I’m Park Jiyeon. It’s nice to meet you all.” Jiyeon said politely. Eunjung and Gyuri introduced themselves to Jiyeon with a smile. Qri was looking Jiyeon up and down. “She’s cute and definitely has a nice body.” She complimented Jiyeon while circling the girl.

Hyomin stepped in again and shielded Jiyeon from her cousin. “She’s a minor so don’t get any ideas.”

“Really? You’re in high school?” Qri asked surprised. Jiyeon nodded. “I’m a senior this year.” She told Qri. The older girl crossed her arms and sighed. “Well that’s too bad.” She pinched Jiyeon’s cheek.

After introductions were over the girls helped move Jiyeon’s things into the apartment. Gyuri huffed as she carried a box. “This is heavy! What the heck is in here?” She nearly dropped the box on the floor as she set it down.

“Ah, be careful with that!” Jiyeon shouted while quickly opening the box and checking the contents inside. Gyuri peeked over the young girl’s shoulder to see what lie inside the box. “Stuffed animals?”

Jiyeon held a stuffed teddy in her hands. “These are very important to me.” She told Gyuri while hugging the teddy. Thinking that the scene looked so cute, Gyuri couldn’t help but smile. They both carried the box to Hyomin’s room where Jiyeon would be rooming.

Everything was finally put in place as the girls all felt tired. Eunjung and Gyuri took their leave as they wanted to rest at their homes. Jiyeon was looking through Hyomin’s art university booklet amazed at the beautiful architecture. Hyomin noticed and asked if Jiyeon wanted to tour around the university.

Jiyeon’s eyes lit up and she nodded. Qri wanted to join but stayed behind since Boram would be home soon and the latter had forgot her keys. Jiyeon quickly put on her shoes and followed Hyomin to campus.

Sunny walked into the very expensive restaurant looking for her father. A waiter arrived and escorted her to a table where her father sat. “Are you keeping up your studies?” He asked Sunny. She nodded and took a bite of her food.

He smiled then gave Sunny papers with all the audition participants info. Sunny took the two inch thick paper compilation and set them on the side of the table. Her father wanted her to watch auditions again later that night.

“Actually I,” Sunny wanted to say no, she had a shopping date with Taeyeon later. But she didn’t want to disappoint her dad. He looked at her. “You don’t want to?” He asked her.

Sunny shook her head. “I’ll be there.” She assured her father. “Good. Make sure to be there no later than 7pm.” Sunny nooded then went back to eating her food. When she was done with her lunch date and bade her father goodbye, Sunny went back to campus where Taeyeon still had class.

She found her friend and told her she would have to cancel on the shopping date. “What! Again Sunny.” Taeyeon complained. It wasn’t the first time Sunny had to cancel. “Sorry Taeyeon, this is the last time. We can go shopping tomorrow ok?” Taeyeon was dubbing Sunny a daddy’s girl before making her friend promise to go shopping tomorrow.

Sunny said goodbye to her friend then checked her watch, it was 6pm. She had an hour to get to the company and prepare for the auditions. She sighed while walking out to the parking lot thinking it was going to be a long night.

Chapter 2

Hyomin and Jiyeon walked onto the school campus together with linked arms. The university was very large with it’s beautiful architecture. Jiyeon was excitedly pulling Hyomin to hurry so they could tour the inside. They were at the entrance of the building about to walk inside when a girl came around the corner and bumped into them. Hyomin fell on her bottom while Jiyeon was helping her back up.

“Hey watch where you’re going.” The other girl said to the two. She quickly stood up and checked her watch then rushed out to the parking lot. Jiyeon brushed Hyomin’s clothes from the fall then glared at the girl running to her car. “How rude. She bumped into us and she has the nerve to scold us.” Jiyeon scowled.

While brushing her hands off, Hyomin spotted a wallet on the ground. She picked it up and asked Jiyeon if it was hers with which Jiyeon shook her head. Hyomin opened it to check for an I.D. card. “Lee Soonkyu? What an old name.” She laughed to herself.

Jiyeon whined to Hyomin since she wanted to explore the school and all the girl was doing was going through a stranger’s wallet. Hyomin put the wallet in her pocket then followed Jiyeon who was going on ahead inside the school.

Sunny impatiently waited at the red stop light as she glanced at the clock again. She had less than ten minutes until it was 7pm, there was still a good one or two blocks until she would come by the company. Right when the light blinked to green Sunny drove like a mad woman across the intersection to the building.

She quickly found a parking spot then dashed to the entrance. Sunny dug into her pockets for her wallet only to find that it wasn’t there. In disbelief, Sunny checked in all her pockets and was looking around on the ground to see if she had dropped it. With no I.D. card she wouldn’t be able to enter the building.

Then she remembered when she bumped into someone at the school. Sunny checked her watch with it reading 7:15, it was already too late for the auditions but there was a possibility that the girl she bumped into was still at the school.

Sunny was carelessly driving on her way back to the school when she was stopped by a police officer. She felt the day beginning to get worse and worse by the minute. The officer tapped on the window glass for Sunny to roll it down. “Good day Sir, is there a problem?” Sunny was trying to play it cool.

“You didn’t stop at the stop sign.” He told Sunny. “Can I see your license and registration please?”

Biting her lower lip in frustration, Sunny was trying to think of a way out of this sticky situation. She didn’t have her license with her since everything was in her wallet which was most likely with that girl she bumped into earlier.

The officer repeated his question for an I.D. which had Sunny sighing in defeat. “I’m sorry Sir, I don’t have it with me.” She told him while looking down.

The officer wrote something on his notepad then asked for Sunny to step out of the car so he could take her to the station. She followed his orders and stepped out from her car to go into his squad car.

Sunny was sitting across another man at the station answering questions until he asked for her father’s phone number. She didn’t want to tell him but she had to or else she wouldn’t be going home.

Minutes later her father walked into the station. Sunny couldn’t bring herself to make eye contact with her father as she kept her head down. He quickly resolved the issue with the officer so the two could go home. Sunny climbed into the back seat with her father as the chauffer started the engine.

“Send someone to pick up Sunny’s car.” He told the chauffer before releasing a heavy sigh, “What were you thinking driving without a license?” He said to Sunny who still had her head down. “You also missed the auditions. How could all this happen in one day?” He said frustrated.

Sunny quietly whispered her apology. “Don’t let it happen again.” He told her. She nodded then sat without a sound for the car ride home. When she was in her room she locked her door and took her phone out to call Taeyeon.

“Oh my god Taeyeon you won’t believe what happened today!” Sunny yelled frustrated. She was telling Taeyeon how her wallet was with a stranger and how her dad scolded her for getting in trouble.

“You actually disobeyed your dad for once, I’m so proud of you.” Taeyeon praised Sunny who then called Taeyeon an idiot. After laughing it off Taeyeon asked how Sunny was going to get her wallet back.

Sunny really had no idea how she was going to find her wallet. She would first have to find that girl but she had no clue on who or how to contact the girl. For all Sunny knew the girl could have been a tourist on vacation. “I don’t know yet. I’ll figure something out tomorrow.” She told Taeyeon before saying goodbye and hanging up.

Hyomin and Jiyeon returned to their apartment after their trip to the university. Qri had her headphones on as she was sampling some music, while Boram was busy cooking dinner for the group.

"You must be Boram. I'm Jiyeon and I'll be living here from now on." Jiyeon introduced herself. "I didn't know you were so young, what year are you?" she asked Boram.

Hyomin placed a hand over her mouth to hold in her laughter while Qri was chuckling to herself. Jiyeon looked at the two cousins with a confused expression, wondering what they were laughing about.

"Boram is actually older than me." Qri informed Jiyeon who now seemed shocked. The young girl looked back at the embarrassed Boram then bowed politely. "I'm sorry unni." Jiyeon quickly apologized in case she had offended Boram.

"I did the exact same thing." Hyomin recalled the memory of their first meeting. Boram pouted while continuing to cook. "It's not my fault I look like I’m in middle school." she mumbled.

Hyomin took a seat in front of the TV to wait for food when she remembered the wallet in her pocket. She whipped it out and looked at the ID card again. Lee Soonkyu, first year student at Seoul Arts University.

Qri wandered over to where Hyomin was sitting and stole a peek at the card. "That your new girlfriend?" she teased. Hyomin shook her head. "I've had enough girlfriends and boyfriends. I don't think I want another one anytime soon." She slipped the card back into the wallet.

Boram had served bowls of food for everyone as the four began to eat. "They're having open mic night at the club tomorrow." Qri told the others. "I got free tickets so you guys should come with your friends."

Hyomin and Boram received the tickets while Jiyeon demanded that she wanted to join as well. "Sorry Jiyeon but it's adults only. No children." Qri said while pinching the girl's cheeks. Jiyeon shooed Qri's hands away then rubbed her cheeks.

"Then what am I suppose to do while you all are out having fun?" Jiyeon brought their attention to how she would be alone. Qri suggested that she could go out with her friends from school for the night. Jiyeon contemplated the idea as she was lost in thought as her mind wandered in different directions.

Hyomin was also deep in thought as an idea hit her. “Hey Boram don’t you have a younger sister who goes to the same high school as Jiyeon? Maybe you could introduce them.” She asked the older girl. Boram was chewing on her chopsticks thinking then nodded her head agreeing to the idea.

Happy that everything was solved, Hyomin ruffled Jiyeon’s hair before washing her bowl and going into her room to prepare for bed. She placed the wallet next to her bag as a reminder so she wouldn’t forget it the next morning.

"So did you think of a plan yet?" Taeyeon asked while driving with Sunny in the passenger seat. Sunny was leaning her head against the car window with her arms crossed. "Right now I'm just hoping she turned it in to the office or else I'll have to somehow search for her around school."

Taeyeon quickly parked her car so the two could start their search for the missing wallet. First stop was the office which was no help at all since the lady at the desk said nothing had come in. Sunny's one and only plan had been shot down.

It was already almost time for class to start so she opted for thinking of a plan during lunch. Finding her wallet wasn't going to be easy. Sunny even thought about forgetting it and getting new IDs and credit cards but that would take forever and she didn't want to wait.

When lunch time came around Sunny met up with Taeyeon at their usual spot. With her head on the table, Sunny asked if Taeyeon had thought of a plan. She shook her head then went back to eating. Sunny was lost in thought on how she could locate the mystery girl.

She could go through the student records but then again it would take forever since there were hundreds of students. The only option she was beginning to lean on was to register for new IDs and replace everything.

"Lee Soonkyu? Sounds like an old name."

Sunny cringed at the mention of her real name. She turned around to see who had said her name. "Hey you! Lee Soonkyu is not that old of a name!" She defended herself.

The girl seemed surprised as she removed her phone from her ear then politely bowed. "I'm sorry." She apologized to Sunny and was about to walk away until she stopped and turned to face Sunny again. "Wait you're Lee Soonkyu?"

"It's Sunny, not Soonkyu." Sunny clarified. The girl apologized once more before introducing herself as Eunjung. She explained that her friend Hyomin had found a wallet yesterday. Sunny felt her luck beginning to turn as she asked where Hyomin was.

"I'm just about to meet her for lunch if you want to join." Eunjung told the two girls. Both followed Eunjung to the cafeteria where she led them to her usual table. "Hyomin I have good news." Eunjung told her while pointing to Sunny. "I found Lee Soonkyu."

Sunny reminded her that it was Sunny and not Soonkyu, as she held her hand out for the wallet. Hyomin introduced herself before she took the object out and handed it over. The short girl tucked it away then eyed Hyomin. "You didn't take anything did you?"

Hyomin shook her head saying she had only looked at the ID card for a name. With that said, Sunny left with Taeyeon. When Sunny was out of ear shot Gyuri complained on her rudeness. "She accused you of stealing and didn't even say thank you. Aren't you a little irritated?" She asked Hyomin.

"She is so not cute." Hyomin pouted then went back to eating. Eunjung leaned close to whisper in Gyuri's ear. "That’s not what she said before." Hyomin was chewing her food then remembered the tickets Qri had given her last night. She handed them to her two friends.

"Qri said the club is having open mic night so she gave me free tickets." She explained. Both agreed to go along as the three ate their lunch.

Meanwhile Sunny was at her own table with Taeyeon eating lunch. She was finally relieved from having found her wallet. "We're going shopping later so don't you bail on me this time." Taeyeon warned Sunny. The girl nodded then finished with her food and headed back for the rest of class.

After Sunny's class ended she waited for Taeyeon so the two could go shopping together. They were off to the mall where they could relieve their stress through shopping. "Just like old times." Sunny reminisced about their middle and high school years.

"Yeah too bad Sooyoung isn't here though." Taeyeon said while walking beside Sunny. "By the way, when is she coming back?"

Sunny rolled her eyes as she looked at Taeyeon. "Can we please not talk about her." She said back while picking out some clothes from the rack. Taeyeon stepped between Sunny and the clothes. "Hey I thought you guys worked things out?”

“The jerk won’t answer my calls.” Sunny answered Taeyeon before taking some clothes with her to the register. Taeyeon tried to convince Sunny that there must have been a reasonable explanation but Sunny ignored her as she took her wallet out to pay. She flipped through the folds for her credit card but it wasn’t in the usual spot.

The short girl was digging furiously inside her wallet until she stopped. “That girl.” Sunny growled while Taeyeon stared at her and asked who she was talking about. Sunny shoved her wallet in her purse then turned to Taeyeon saying two words. “Park Hyomin.”

@jess3-ne: i'm actually really excited to write this fic. and yes Qri is 100% into girls here. eunmin or sunbyung? hmm, if i had to pick it would have to be sunbyung since i've known them longer.

@™»§h@«™: as expected sunbyung always wins over eunmin hehe. and do you mean this fic or the other one? cause someone asked me if they could translate the other one and i don't know if you're from the same forum or something. but you can translate this one, let me know how it goes. and you're added on the pm list.

@jlmtl: i'm not sure how long this one will be, still trying to figure that out myself. and of course i would include eungyul hehe. the sunbyung couple met briefly in this chapter, you'll have to wait for the next one haha. and taeyeon with qri? i think that would be interesting. yup djsammy at soshified is also me. i was thinking about posting it over there too, i haven't decided yet. and you're also on the pm list.

Before SunMin is SooSun, right? Wonder what happened to SooSun and what will happen to SunMin....

Wait, Sunny use wallet? So manly. Btw, I use wallet, too lol

Everyone knows Sunny to realisticly be a friendly person, but it's interessting to see her with a much more curt demeanor in this fic.

Two chapters in but I'm already enjoying this fic. I'm curious in regards to how Sunny will confront Hyomin. Looking forward to the next chapter. Please do add me to the PM list!

wah! i thought it going to be love at first sight for Hyomin and Sunny.. maybe because Sunny was in a hurry, she didn't really see Hyomin. if their eye meet, i bet Sunny wouldn't be so uptight and angry(?), and maybe she fall in love at Hyomin haha can't wait for their next meeting.. how will thing turn out..

Hyomin said she had enough with boyfriends and girlfriends, so that mean she been in relationship before? and Sunny too, with Sooyoung..

Hm, too bad, I was kinda late...

Well, it is slightly out of my expectation. Pretty good!

Sunny was some sorta, a spoiled-brat,

but she still looks cute and even be very obedient to her father...LOL

When I didn't know any better, I thought Boram was one of the youngest in the group as well, haha.

I'm used to reading fiction where Sunny is nice and sweet and not really the rude/mean girl, it's a nice change. Looks like there's more behind Sunny and Sooyoung, perhaps exes? I can't wait to read what happens next. Please add me to the pm list!

Chapter 3

Hyomin quickly gathered her things at school to go home. After she loaded her bag with books and papers, Hyomin walked through the hallways to the entrance. She took her phone out to text Eunjung and Gyuri the directions to the club when someone bumped into her. Hyomin braced herself for the impact of her bottom to the floor but it never came. There were a pair of arms around her waist preventing her from falling. She opened her eyes to look at the face in front of her.

I really like how Sunny wanted to follow Hyomin around..

yeah, she might be fallen for Hyomin, the same way she fall for Sooyoung.. haha..

Hwayoung is Boram's sister.. that was adorable..

Guess, I like her to be with Jiyeon.. hehe.. for no solid reason..

it just, their interaction in HB looks cute.. for me, at least..

It seems you forgot to send me a PM for the third chapter. It was out of total curiousity that I decided to come back and check this thread, lol.

But anyhow, no problem. I quite liked the latest chapter. I'm curious as to who really posses Sunny's credit card but what I'm most looking forward to is how the venture to the restaurant will turn out. Considering how Sunny won't leave Hyomin's side, it is sure to bring about some interessting events.
