So today, I really want to ask all of you one question. And I want all of you to be very honest here. Ly question is........ How do you really think of Areum?
sleepystudent Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 Truthfully... unneeded.... That's just a first impression when i heard about the additions and that Areum was the 8th one. I haven't heard her sing, I saw her pictures, but I was never into T-ara for their looks, but for their music and their personalities. So, I'll write more and judge her during their Day By Day comeback. I'll see a few performances and what not before I can really tell you what I think of her as a new T-ara member, in terms of music. As for personality, I have to wait till she appears on a show or T-ara does another T-ara based variety show before I can get to know her. But I think I'll forever think that she was an unneeded addition in T-ara.. But what can I do? maknae_dino, Huevogro, shirlyn611 and 3 others 6

T-ara 7members i think is enough and looks good.. rather than adding a member why just make the currently member shine? specially Qri , Boram and Hwayoung.. the three of them always got the smallest lines on their song even we all know that Qri and boram can sing and hwayoung can rap... so why adding areum? Mollayo Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 I feel really sympathetic towards her; not only is she joining a well established group but she's also joining with Dani who has received much more attention than she has (probably because of her age). For now the only feeling towards her I have is sympathy (oh and I think her name is really pretty but that doesn't count aha). I'm neutral right now, who knows? maybe she'll win me over.
airlack Posted June 25, 2012 Report Posted June 25, 2012 her singing is somewhat similar to our soyeon's voice, being able to hit low notes but the range is kinda wide so, as to what i've heard so far, she's a decent singer. she looks good (someone who should be able to make my head turn should i happen to see her on the streets), so there really hasn't been anything bad about her that i can pinpoint at this time. i sincerely hope that she is able to mix well with her t-ara unnies once she's gotten together with them, and that they will take good care of her, while the fans of t-ara, either present, past or the future will give her the support she needs.

kuriya17 Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 really unneeded.... but who knows, maybe because of the addition of her Soyeon and the others may actually have more slot in acting side... okay Physical appearance: i can say she has face, but i think it's not my type... Talent: i heard her sing and watch some of her dance, well, i could say she has talent but still needs improvement (well that was a video years ago so i hope she already improved) what else... i could not think of any, so i just need to stick with what they are saying that she really is talented...
ilovekpop Posted June 28, 2012 Report Posted June 28, 2012 I think she's pretty so she passes for looks in T-ara LOL. But regarding vocals, I'm not so sure. I feel like her vocals still needs room for improvement. I'm gonna be honest, I think her vocals are up to par with Ji Yeon. And I think Ji Yeon is a good singer, she has a soft and very cute voice. While Areum sounds quite old and her voice sounds older for her age. I'm not so sure about her addition...that's my honest opinion. But thinking about it now, if I really had to pick whether T-ara needed her or not, I'd say no .

Vocally - well judging her pre-debut audition clips, I don't think her voice is that very great. She can sing and yeah~ but Soyeon and Eunjung's voices are better. There's something with her voice that sounds very irritating. Sometimes it's nasal too -.- Dancing - she can dance but Jiyeon and Eunjung's sharp moves are better. Well IDK how much she improved throughout the years but I'm kinda pissed that KKS is attributing whatever this girl got because of her parents -.- And honestly, the member additions still appeal unnecessary for me. milkyway, kenzo and Huevogro 3

And I want T-ara to have a successful comeback with the new additions. As for me I think Areum is cute, but she'll have to get in line. She's number eight on my list She'd better make me like her real soon though.

I was wanting to quit my T-ara fandom. But when Areum came (I love her name btw), she looked pretty, mature and i liked her voice very much. I thought she would do a great addition to the group. SO yeah! I dont know her enough yet so we will see...
Guest Princess Unicorn Posted July 3, 2012 Report Posted July 3, 2012 I know everyone was mad when CCM decided to add 2 new members, I was too until I actually saw/heard the 8th member. To me, she's really lucky that she's a complete package/not useless, otherwise she'd get more hate. I wish it'd stop at 8.. I am one of those people who think Dani should wait when she's a little bit older, probably 16. It's still odd that a 12 year old kid is joining a group of 18-26 year old ladies. But I think Dani is cute, I liked her in the MV and I think the T-ara unnies will be good to her. I think you guys should give Dani and Areum a chance before you judge them. The fact is, whether or not you like them, they'll be staying in the group. I know for some fans it was hard to get used to Hwayoung because she joined so late, but you guys will get used to both of them eventually.

She's kinda cute and her voice is powerful. I liked her back then (one of the only few fans) Her high note in Day by Day? She nailed it. I think I'm liking her more now

It's just a bit odd that you have a lot more material of Dani than of Areum. But Areum already joined T-ara while Dani is just featured in their music video, if I'm right.

I can't tell T-ara's voices apart (yet) but I really want to see how talented a singer she is ^-^

She was street-casted (that's what I read) and what I dont understand is why did the staff chose her when they didnt even see her dance/sing so I guess they chose her by looks (thats what i thought) PJYlover~ 1
