This is my first attempt on writing fiction. It was supposed to be an one-shot but eventually it gone longer and longer so I decided to make it as a short fic with just few chapters (it has no prologue since it's one-shot to start with)~.~ EunYeon are the main characters of this fic and other T-ara members as cameo. Don't be shy to leave your comments! Opinions and critics are welcomed so that i can improve ^-^ enjoy!
Although it's short, if any of you wanted to be informed for updates, i'll gladly add you to the PM list, just request it in your comment :)

Chapter 1



The school bell rang 10 minutes ago. A 1st year student was scooting down the hallway being late to her class. She was lingering around the library trying to find out more about the subject she was dying to learn, but failed to register anything from the sources in the library. She wasn’t a determined girl, especially when it comes to study. The reason behind her determination to learn more about that specific subject caused her anger to rise.

-Flashback-

It was recess time when Jiyeon met with a girl she disliked outside the classroom.

“Oh dear, Jiyeonie, mind to hangout together with me for recess?” Eunjung halted Jiyeon when the latter was exiting the classroom with a pile of books. Jiyeon glared at the girl before bumped the girl away and made her way out. Eunjung grabbed Jiyeon’s shoulder before the girl could step further and turned her around. Jiyeon shrugged off the girl’s hand from her shoulder.

“Why are you so shy, Jiyeon ah?” Eunjung glanced at the pile of books and started to snatch them away from the girl who remained silent. “Seems like our dongsaeng is studying hard nowadays huh? Let’s see…what’s this? Stars and Galaxies?”

“Unnie-nim, would you mind your own business, please?” Jiyeon snatched back the book trying to hold her anger.

“So, you’re interested on Astronomy studies?” Ignoring the girl’s request, she proceeded to tease her. “Well if you don’t mind, we can spend our recess time together, unnie will teach you!”

“You’re interested on these? A no for me then. By the way I don’t think you know them more than I do, so instead of being a teacher, you should continue to be your ugly jerk.” Jiyeon mocked at her but regretted it.

“Jiyeon-ah…what do you know about astronomies?” Eunjung chuckled while teasing the girl.

“Hmph!” Jiyeon walked away angrily wanting to stop the humiliation in front of Eunjung’s fans and her classmates.

-End of Flashback-

“Hahm Eun Jung! I will get you one day!” Jiyeon mumbled under her raging hot breath.

Just as she mentioned the girl’s name, the girl who’s the last she would want to see appeared in front of her once again.


“Jiyeonie! I’m so happy to see you again!” Eunjung flashed her a bright smile as soon as she saw the girl. Jiyeon switched her steps trying to avoid the girl but the girl moved and blocked her way. Jiyeon did not want to waste her time bickering with Eunjung since she was already late, so she kept moving side to side trying to proceed but she kept bumping into the girl who was blocking her way.

“What do you want?” Frustrated, Jiyeon let out a sigh and stared right into the girl’s eyes.

“Wow, you’re willing to take my request? I wanna be friends with you!” Eunjung half-teased.

Jiyeon looked frustrated but then suddenly her face frowned and then broke into an awkward smile.

“Oh, you wanna be friends with me? Well Unnie, I don’t know, but…” Jiyeon grabbed the girl’s shoulders and felt that the girl relaxed abit. She then dragged her to a side. “You’re an ugly jerk.” Successfully made a way through, she quickly drifted away. Eunjung then snapped out of confusion and shouted at her.

“Yah! That’s the worst acting I’ve ever seen!” Eunjung stomped her feet. Her teasing actually became her hope and she felt upset being rejected, once again. Jiyeon turned her head and stuck out her tongue and continued to rush to her classroom. Eunjung chuckled at the sight of the cute girl. She didn’t understand why the girl disliked her so much since the girl entered the school.

On the other side, Jiyeon had a bad impression about Eunjung. Hwayoung, her classmate, always told her that Eunjung was a playgirl, even Hyomin, their senior and also Eunjung’s ex who had a taste of it, acknowledged it. Jiyeon had a bad experience falling inlove with a player and eventually got heart broken, that’s why she disliked every single player she met, even girls.

Especially those who were interested on her.

Especially those who liked to tease her.

‘Especially Hahm Eun Jung, that ugly jerk!’

The school was over for the day, Hyomin and Hwayoung left Jiyeon earlier. They usually hang out around the cafeteria before leaving. Being left alone, Jiyeon dragged her tired feet to the cafeteria. She was punished by their lecturer squatting outside the classroom for as long as she was late.


It’s not the first time she got into trouble, all because of Hahm Eun Jung. Cursing the girl all the way to the cafeteria, there were three 4th year students who were sitting on the seat around an area far away from most students broke her thoughts.

“Jiyeonie! Over here!” Boram was the one who yelled out out of the three.

Jiyeon went up to them and took the seat beside Boram. She slumped down on the chair and rested her head on her hands on the coffee table.

“Oh my I’m glad you’re here, these two here are driving me crazy and…Hey, you don’t look good. What’s up?” Boram glanced at the other two who were busy flirting and go all lovey dovey at each other, then noticed Jiyeon’s bad mood. Jiyeon looked at her then sighed.

“Of course, it’s because of Eunjungie again.” Qri who stepped out of her own world with Soyeon, answered behalf of Jiyeon. Boram stared at her curiously.

“Jiyeonie, what has Eunjung-”

“ARGH! THAT UGLY JERKKK!!” Jiyeon slapped the table at the mention of Eunjung’s name, startling the unnies.

“Eunjung likes to tease you, Jiyeon ah” Qri stated and then laughed. Soyeon stared at Jiyeon and shook her head in disappointment.

“What has Eunjung done that made our cute dongsaeng looked so upset? I told her she should learn some flirting skills from me, they’re really effective!” Soyeon joked and received a hard pinch on the cheek from the girl beside her. “Ou-Ouch!” “Effective, isn’t it?” Qri said while caressing the girl’s cheek lightly after pinching it red. Soyeon pouted at her.

“Just ignore them.” Boram shifted Jiyeon’s attention to herself. “Actually Eunjungie isn’t as bad as what other people said about her.”

“Yeah, she’s worse than that.” Soyeon chuckled at the side.

“However, she’s still better than you.” Qri stuck out her tongue at the girl who was adding oil to the fire.

“Hahaha. Okay, I guess I should stop playing around.” Soyeon sat straight and looked at Jiyeon like she was going to present speeches. “It’s true that our Eunjungie was a playgirl. Well maybe she’s still one now. But from what I see, something is different when it comes to you, and I believe Eunjung will not harm you.”


“That ugly jerk?” Jiyeon rolled her eyes. “ I don’t think I can believe you, unnie, she brought enough troubles for me.”

“Woah! Jiyeonie, you may doubt other people’s judgement, but never doubt Soyeonie’s!” Boram boasted about how apprehensive Soyeon could be.

“I guess the troubles won’t get to you if you could understand Eunjungie. If she ever hurt you, unnie will be sure to chase her down.” Qri assured Jiyeon.

“Trust me Jiyeonie, I think you should talk to her.” Soyeon looked at Jiyeon with that serious look, convincing her to believe her words.

“Thank you unnie, but I don’t want to think for now. She has been playing with my mind for so long that I’m tired. I think I will leave now and get some rest.” Jiyeon sighed and bid her unnies farewell before she left the cafeteria and headed towards the bus stop.

“Jiyeonie!”

Eunjung left her class later than usual because of some work to do. She went down to the road to the exit and saw a familiar girl standing alone at the bus stop. She leaped towards the girl and put her arm around the girl’s shoulder. Jiyeon glanced at the girl, not surprised at her actions. She took a step away from the girl but the girl drew her closer.

“You’re alone again? Where’re your friends?”

“You’re alone again? Where’re your fans?” Jiyeon mocked at the girl.

“Hahaha. Don’t worry about my fans. I’m free to accompany you for the rest of the day! You can bring me where ever you want, or you don’t mind me kidnapping you away?” Eunjung winked at the girl beside her. Jiyeon looked away giving out a disgusted look.

‘ ‘Trust me Jiyeonie, I think you should talk to her.’ … talk to her…or not?’
Jiyeon decided to remain silent.

As if the God fulfilled what Eunjung joked earlier, a tinted-windows-black-van darted across the street and braked right in front the two girls.

Chapter 2

As soon as the black van stopped in front of the two girls, two men in black suit hopped out of the van and forcefully dragged them into the van in a speed of light. The girls were stunned and confused, they tried to struggle but they weren’t compatible to the strength and speed of the two men. The black van drifted off once the door slip closed.


The three girls left the cafeteria not long after Jiyeon, then they witnessed the scene of the two girls being dragged into a black van, so they started to sprint towards them. Soyeon quickly took out her smart phone and captured a picture of the scene. They managed to get a view of the number plate and memorized it. The black van disappeared as it left dust of trails to the three girls who were panting towards them.


“Why the heck are they kidnapped? They aren’t kids anymore! ” Boram was catching her breath at the bus stop.


“Maybe it’s because of money?” Qri guessed while looking at Soyeon hoping her to make another smart guess.


“I don’t think so. The van itself and their men don’t seem like they kidnapped them for money.”


“Eotteokhae? What should we do?” Boram panicked as she’s worrying about her dongsaengs.


“Let’s report it to the police.” Qri suggested.


“I suggest we report it to the school first” Boram concluded as she pulled the two other girls’ hands and hastened toward the guard house. Suddenly, an idea came across Soyeon’s mind as she looked at the screen on her mobile phone.


“Wait, you two will take care of the reporting, I need to do something important.” Soyeon said and then hurried towards the school leaving the two.

The two men on the van blindfolded the girls with black clothes and tied up all their hands together with tough ropes as soon as the van drove off.


“WHAT’S HAPPENING?” The elder girl panicked, she could hear the heavy breathing sound of the other girl.


“We’re being kidnapped, you BABO!” Jiyeon shouted back.


Just as the girls were bickering, a guy in the front seat which supposed to be the leader chuckled.


“Who are you? Why are you kidnapping us?!” Jiyeon turned her head around trying to find the source of the chuckling.

“Eunjung-ah, I’m glad to see you here.” The leader in front turned his head around to the girls and ignoring the questions. Eunjung shivered, trying to dig up the memories from her head of the guy’s identity. After a short silence, she asked.

“Who are you?”

“I’m the brother of …one of you ex-es. It’s useless to tell you who, since you have too many ex-es that you won’t remember who is my sister.”

“…and what have I done for you to kidnap us? Where are you bringing us?”

“Oh, you’ll know it later. I’ll make sure you have fun, like how you play with my sister few months ago. And this cute girl? I don’t know who she is, but she’s with you so I had no choice but to let her tag along the game.” The leader then broke into evil laughter.

“Your enemies are after you because of your playing, IN YOUR FACE but WHY must I get dragged by your troubles? EVERYTIME?” Jiyeon groaned and shouted at Eunjung, glaring aimlessly as she was blindfolded.

“I- I’m sorry…” Eunjung hung her head down. Jiyeon couldn’t sort out if the girl was sincere or not. It’s the first time she doubted since she never believed that the ugly jerk had ever felt bad. She didn’t know how to reply since it’s the first time the girl apologized at her with much feelings in the few simple words. Seeing the both of them were in silence, the guy began to talk again.

“Little girl, are you another game of hers? Let me tell you, you should just dump her, she isn’t a good person.”

“I’m NOT one of her games! And I’m aware that this… girl… is a player.”

“No Jiyeon-ah, it’s not like that…” Eunjung retorted without realizing the girl actually avoided calling her “ugly jerk” in her last reply.

“Eunjung-ah! You got into this trouble because of what you did, and now you’re doing it again?” The leader scoffed at her. Eunjung had her head down once again, feeling shameful about what the guy said, but his last remark wasn’t true, at least for her.

“Jiyeon, please trust me this time…” Eunjung whispered, her eyes glittered behind the black clothes while she fiddled her fingers and since their hands were tied to each other, the back of their hands brushed against each other, sending shivers down Jiyeon’s spine.

The leader chuckled at Eunjung. “The Eun-Player is non-stop! Don’t worry, I’ll let you pay for that.”

Jiyeon did not understand what Eunjung meant but she decided to just listen to her since they will be going through this together.

At the backyard, there was an annexe to the school, it’s an average bird sanctuary which the president suggested to build in order to advance the science studies for their students especially the Science clubs. The chirping sounds echoed and filled the hall as a man was spreading seeds and fruits on the ground, cages and nests. The sunlight shined through the ceiling which was made with wire mesh and hit the ground of the hall. Only few students who were staying back at the school visited the bird sanctuary. Suddenly, the door of the hall burst open revealing a girl who was catching her breath from panting. The girl stepped into the hall and looked around before she ran towards the man.

“Soyeonie? Why are you here?” The man looked at the girl curiously while continued to spread the seeds on the ground.

“Mr Lee, can I borrow a pigeon? A homing pigeon.” Requested Soyeon while still looking around the hall.

“Why do you want to borrow a homing pigeon? Is something happening?”

“Uhm…I can’t explain to you right now, I’m in a hurry. But I’ll be sure to return it back to here.”

“Oh…sure, go ahead. But make sure you explain to Manager Jung after you’re done with your stuff.” Mr Lee said and rushed Soyeon to make her choice since it seemed like an emergency. Soyeon walked a few steps towards a familiar cage and turned around while looked at all the flying birds around the hall. She then blew a loud whistling sound with two fingers between her lips before shouted through the hall and echoed. “Biggy!”

A familiar bird coo-ed while flying towards the girl and swirled in front of her before landing on her finger. It’s a white intelligent homing pigeon with green and purple feathers as highlight. Soyeon took out her phone with her free hand and slid the screen with her thumb, revealing Jiyeon’s photo. She then held the phone up with the screen facing the pigeon. The pigeon stared at the object in front of it and tilted it’s head slightly, then looked away being distracted, showing no interest on the object.

Soyeon then slid the screen twice and revealed Eunjung’s picture and shoved it in front of the pigeon once again.

“coo-oooo---” The pigeon stared at Eunjung’s picture while moving it’s head closer to the screen and coo-ed continuously, indicating that it knows the person in that picture.

“Great.” Soyeon tucked back her phone into her pocket and exited the hall with the pigeon. “Biggy, you’re our only hope to save your founder.”

Soyeon arrived at the exit of the school and reunited with Qri and Boram at the bus stop.

“Hey Sso we’ve told the principal and she will help us to report police.” Qri told Soyeon as the girl beside her was unable to speak because of the sobbing earlier.

“Is Biggy going to save our dongsaengs?” Boram cleared her throat and asked as she looked at the pigeon that was grasping Soyeon's finger with it's feet.

“I hope so.” Soyeon took out her phone once again and slid to the latest photo, revealing a black van. She held it in front of the pigeon hoping it would store that image in it’s mind. She then slid the screen to Eunjung’s picture and showed it to the pigeon one last time. She took out a small piece of paper and dashed off a note, then attached it on the pigeon’s feet. She faced the road and turned to the direction where the black van went.

“Biggy, please save Eunjungie and Jiyeonie.” Soyeon caressed the pigeon before held it up and tossed it to the direction where the black van was heading. The pigeon flapped it's wings a few times and flew into the sky in a lightning speed

Biggy was one of the top racers among the pigeons in their school. EunJung rescued it from falling into the drains when it did not know how to fly yet, she sent the pigeon to the school Science Team and settled it at the bird sanctuary. Soyeon sometimes saw Eunjung wandering around the bird sanctuary visiting Biggy. That was why Soyeon decided to put a bet on Biggy, hoping it could get to Eunjung and Jiyeon and bring their message back. She knew that tele-communications would not help since the kidnappers would shut off or took away their phones.

On the van, the leader’s phone rang.

“Yoboseyo? Hyung?” The leader answered the call. “But I have some work to handle here.”

Following up was some shoutings that could be heard through the phone in the van.

“Alright, alright, we’ll drop by.” He then hung up and whispered to their drivers where to drop by.

The van started to shake and became bumpy, then it’s heading upwards, which Eunjung thought that they’re at a place with mountains and woods. The van stopped moving indicating they arrived at their drop by destination.

“Let’s go.” The leader commanded.

“Who’ll keep an eye on these two?” the man at the girls’ left side asked.

“One of you will stay here. There’re many of our men out there, I don’t think they dare to escape.” The leader turned around and looked at the girls, emphasizing that he had a lot of men.

“But sir, we shouldn’t let the others know that we-” Before the driver could finish his sentence, the leader covered his mouth and mouthed “you stupid”. He then eyed the two men at the back. The men understood and stuck some clothes into the girls’ mouth preventing them from shouting. They proceeded to leave the van leaving the two girls and one of their men. Eunjung took their conversation as a dare for them to escape.

Eunjung heard the man beside her unlocked the door and opened it. She took the chance and pushed the man beside him way out to the van, causing him to fell on the ground, she then quickly hopped out the van pulling the girl who her hands’ were tied together with hers out. Jiyeon was surprised but was quick to get the meaning. They ran aimlessly towards a direction escaping from them. The other man hopped down the van wanting to chase after the girls, but they heard someone called out them. It’s the other Team.

“Where’re you going?” The other team’s leader asked him and his men who were running to somewhere.

“Oh…hyung, nothing.” The leader braked and switched their topic. “So what’s the plan that you were saying?”

“We’ll discuss about it inside the lodge, let’s go.” The elder man turned his back and started to walk away with his men.

“Uhm. You guys should rest inside the van, I’ll call you when I need you.” The leader half-shouted at his men, hoping his hyung would heard it. His men understood the hidden-meaning and went to chase after the girls. One of the men saw a white pigeon was resting on their van roof, the thought of cleaning bird’s crap disgusted him, so he shoo-ed the pigeon. The pigeon grasped it’s roll of message before flying away towards the direction the girls escaped.

The girls’ spitted out the clothes on their mouth and continued to run. They ran further and further without knowing themselves. They heard the sounds of their shoes and grass brushing against each other and ran into some trees, then concluded that they’re in the woods area.

“Jiyeonie?” Eunjung’s energy was almost worn out, she was nervous and her mind went dizzy that she couldn’t make sure if the one beside her was Jiyeon or not.

“No, the one who was being tied with you is one of their men, Babo.” Jiyeon scoffed at the girl who was asking obvious question in such an urgent situation.

They were running towards a tree, Eunjung ran pass the left side of the tree while Jiyeon went to the right side. The tree stuck between them, their tied-together hands prevented them from moving further and caused them to pull back towards each other.

Jiyeon felt something soft on her lips. The bump caused their lips locked together. The two were surprised and stunned. Jiyeon could feel Eunjung’s panting hot breath and her racing heartbeats, which was resulted from the running and escaping, she thought. She snapped back to the reality and pulled back the accidental kiss while jerking few steps backward. Eunjung stoned on the spot for awhile before she walked back to the tree and un-wrapped the tree with their arms and went back to Jiyeon’s side.

“We’re such a babo.” Eunjung chuckled. Jiyeon could sense Eunjung was moving her head closer to her, she got nervous. Eunjung moved her lips up to Jiyeon’s eye-level and easily bit off the black cloth that was covering Jiyeon’s eyes. Jiyeon was un-blindfolded, instead of looking around to check where they were, or helping Eunjung to un-blindfold, the only thing that caught her sight was Eunjung’s lips, the lips that were on hers awhile ago.

“I know you’re too mesmerized for being able to see the world again, but don’t you think you should help me out too?” Eunjung who was waiting for the girl’s help asked. Jiyeon snapped out of her own world, then registered what she should do. She tip-toed while moving her lips up to the black cloth attempting to bite them off, but it took longer than she expected. She felt Eunjung’s hot breath tickling her neck down to her chest, sending shivers down to her spine.

As soon as Jiyeon successfully pulled the black cloth away from Eunjung’s eyes, Eunjung looked down on their hands and tried to break free from the ropes while avoiding making eye contact with Jiyeon. Upon failing the attempt to break free, they heard footsteps on the grass. Each step was louder than the previous ones as if someone was approaching them. Being able to see again, the two escaped deeper into the forest sneakily.

Eunjung and Jiyeon lost the sounds of footsteps which were slower compared to the two running girls’ pace. They stopped behind some bushes catching their breath. They decided to untie the tough ropes on their hands as they sat down on the grass. Jiyeon was struggling and tugging the ropes on their hands sloppily while Eunjung looked around trying to find something that would help them to break free.


They stopped whatever they’re doing when they heard the sounds of the footsteps again. They were slow and careful. The two tried to hide behind the bushes. That was when Eunjung saw something moving at the corner of her eyes which was from Jiyeon’s side. A snake. She locked her sight at the snake and shivered in fear hoping Jiyeon would not see it or else the girl will be sure scream. However, Jiyeon sensed the movement of something wiggling beside her as she turned back to face Eunjung. Jiyeon’s eyes widened as she saw the snake. Her jaw dropped and gasped as if she was ready to let out an eardrums-breaking dolphin scream.


Eunjung hoped she could cover the girl’s mouth but their hands were tied. In the short period of time, she only thought about one thing that could stop Jiyeon from screaming : her lips. Eunjung leaned into Jiyeon planning to crash her lips on the latter’s to prevent the girl from screaming. But before she was quick enough to do so, Jiyeon sensed her movement and immediately shut her mouth and closed her eyes, swallowing back her reflex to scream, with Eunjung’s face stopped immediately in front of hers, leaving their lips just few inches away each others. Jiyeon’s lips puckered because she shut them immediately. Eunjung found it cute but that wasn’t a good timing to be mesmerized by the cuteness of the other girl, being left hanging in an awkward situation with their lips almost meet with each other. Slightly disappointed unable to reach the girl’s lips with the reason to shut her mouth up, Eunjung laughed off embarrassingly. Jiyeon then opened her eyes slowly feeling Eunjung’s breath.


“Don’t move Jiyeon, I'm sure it'll go away in a little while.” Eunjung whispered as she stayed still at the position. Seeing that a slight pout will bring their lips together, Jiyeon slightly moved her head backwards before began to whisper to the other girl.


“I can’t take this anymore, let’s just surrender back to those guys.”


Eunjung was not sure if she was talking about the snake or their moments, and their accidental kiss earlier.


‘She couldn’t take it any longer? So she rather surrender herself to the kidnappers than staying awkward and all alone with me? Hmph.’

Eunjung cleared her thoughts as she heard the footsteps were closing them, and stopped right behind the bushes they were hiding, she then decided to give up their escape.

‘Great, we’re caught. As you wish, Jiyeon.’ Still staying at the same position, Eunjung waited for the kidnappers to catch , or she hoped, save them as she heard the footsteps made a turn and arrived in front of them.


Eunjung rolled her eyes to the corner and saw the feet of the footsteps owner. Eunjung’s face twitched, there was a pair of milky white slender legs, which she assumed they’re smooth. She rolled her eyes back at the girl in front of her. Jiyeon had her eyes on the stranger's face, her jaw slightly dropped in awe. Eunjung was curious on who could’ve amused the girl she wants to be friends with…or the girl she likes…or loves? Eunjung slowly turned her head to the stranger’s direction but was stopped by a sweet female voice which belonged to the stranger.



“Don’t move! Or it’ll bite you!”



Eunjung could hear that the girl took a step closer to them. Eunjung obeyed and waited as she looked at Jiyeon who slowly closed her mouth and gulped. She’s growing impatient. She could only sense the girl’s movement by listening to it.


The girl twitched a branch from a tree nearby in ease and used it as a long stick. She threw a piece of rock to the direction behind Jiyeon. As soon as the snake got distracted, she swiftly hooked up the snake’s body with the long stick and tossed it far away from them together with the stick. Jiyeon watched as the girl dusted off her palms while smiling proudly.



“So, what’s up with you two here? Are you ok?”



Eunjung released a sigh of relieve and finally turned around to look at the girl. The girl had a cute and charming smile on her dolly face. Her hair was black and braided, also the perfect dreamy eyes that would attract anyone’s heart. The two looked at the standing girl in awe, wondering how a girl with such smooth and milky white skin appeared in the middle of a forest. And as if she really lived in the forest, she dressed like one, with an old worn hoodie dress carrying a crossbow and a bucket full of arrows at her back. She also had few pieces of white and beautiful feathers stuck on her hair pretending it as hairclips or something, with a piece of cloth wrapped around them together with her braided hair as the hair band.


‘Hmm…so Jiyeonie likes this kind of looks? But my skin is soft and fair too!’ Eunjung thought as she continued to stare at the standing girl. The girl looked at them curiously and waved her hands in front of the two stunned girls.


“Are you ok? Why does it seemed like you guys are paralyzed…Hey, don’t tell me you got bitten by the snake? Damn it!” The girl stomped her foot frustrated about her new task to take care of the two paralyzed girls. Eunjung slightly coughed to clear her throat and she was ready to reply the girl. The girl began again.



“Oh so you’re fine… huh? What’s that? Why are you being tied?”



Eunjung’s body moved and the girl saw their hands. Eunjung quickly stood up and yanked Jiyeon to stand up with her.


“Uhm…we’re kidnapped by some guys and we escaped into this place…could you please help us out?” Eunjung held her hands and Jiyeon’s hands in front of the girl.



“Wow kidnap? And you guys escaped to here? Wow, you’re cool.” The girl kept talking while digging up something from the small bag pack hanging around her waist. “This place is actually…really----far away from the so called outside-world, the nearest place out of this forest is the mountains. Which I assumed where you came from… you’re amazing that you came this far.”


Eunjung and Jiyeon looked at each other in fear. They indeed ran a long distance journey without realizing, and now realized they’re at somewhere far from the outside-world.


Eunjung thought the girl will slowly untie the ropes. Instead, the girl swayed up a small dagger which shined upon the sunlight. With a swift and invisible cut, the tough ropes on the two’s hands loosened. Eunjung was amused by the girl’s action.


“Where are we?...” Jiyeon stuttered, finally had the time to observe the surroundings.


“Judging from your uniforms, you came from cities aren’t you? I’ll gladly introduce you : This is the Yayaya Woods. And I’ll gladly tell you that you’re currently standing in the deep area of this forest, which’s... far away from where you came from.” The girl stretched her arms wide introducing the forest. She held her arms in the air while looking at the two girls blankly, and then sighed.


“Why are you looking at us like that?” Eunjung asked as she rubbed her wrist which was hurting from the tying of the tough ropes.


“Because…” She dropped both of her arms down, unexcitedly “…that means you two are lost, in a place you don’t know, in a place far from where you belong.”


“Yeah…” Jiyeon stopped looking around and stared at the girl. “…and?”


“And? I guess I’m automatically tasked to take care of you two lost girls now since I found you?”


She smiled at Eunjung, Eunjung didn’t seem interested, so she turned to Jiyeon and winked at her, and she got back a shy smile from Jiyeon. Eunjung’s face twitched at their interactions.


“Who are you actually?” Jiyeon was more excited to know the girl’s identity at the moment.


“Me? “


The girl chuckled and playfully hopped on a big rock that made her stood higher.


“I, Lee Ji Eun, one of the leaders of our Korean race in the Yayaya community, also a part of The Legend 7 Riding Hood, the intelligent huntresses and protectors of our community.”


She looked up to the tree crowns while putting a fist on her chest, introducing her background proudly. She looked back at them as she heard Eunjung’s sarcastic chuckle. Decided to stop her acts, she hopped down and walked towards the girls.


“In short, you can just call me IU.” the girl, IU, gave one of her charming smiles to the girls and held up her hand, which Jiyeon gladly took it and shook it.


“My name is Park Ji Yeon, nice to meet you!” Jiyeon introduced excitedly. IU then turned to look at Eunjung. Eunjung chuckled once again while flipping her hair and smiled.

“I’m the charming prince, Ham Eun Jung. Who cares if I’m intelligent or a part of the…what you call that, little red riding hood? Yeah, I’m still attractive.” Eunjung pretended to present her charm. More like presenting her charm to Jiyeon.

“It’s The Legend 7 Riding Hood,” IU corrected Eunjung, still with that charming smile.

“Yeah, and it’s not the charming prince, it’s the ugly jerk, player.” Jiyeon correct Eunjung as well.

Eunjung looked at her with a pout, hoping she would take back her words. Jiyeon maintained her poker face at Eunjung, telling her that she wasn’t joking, which killed Eunjung a little inside. She then looked away pretending that she didn’t mind. The thought of their accidental kiss earlier was being pushed aside as they met with IU.



“You two bickered like a sweet couple.” IU giggled at them.


“We’re NOT a couple.” Jiyeon retorted.


“Well, I didn’t say you are.” IU rolled her eyes. Jiyeon’s smile returned as she looked at IU.


“Hey may I ask you a question?” asked Jiyeon.


“No, I guess. Let’s go, I’ll bring you to a safer place, but deeper into the forest.” IU answered and started to walk.


“What do you mean deeper into the forest?” Eunjung’s fear was back again. They were lost enough to go deeper into the forest.


“You have no choice, this place is dangerous. Heading back to where you belong is too far, and too risky.” IU turned back to assure the girl.


“Hey, I just wanted to ask you-” Jiyeon who wasn’t bother by the fact they were going deeper into the forest, was more interested into IU. Before she could finish, IU was already far ahead from them. It’s like she had teleporting abilities, she could run really fast.


“Darn it, I was just going to ask her why is she so cute!” Jiyeon pouted, and then followed by a smile with blush. Eunjung looked at the girl beside her, she did not like Jiyeon giving this kind of reaction and expression to other people than her.


“For god’s sake we’ve just succeeded in escaping away from the kidnappers and now we’re lost in the middle of a forest, can’t you at least show some normal reactions? Like FREAK OUT?” Eunjung’s anger started to rise. ‘Is it because of jealousy?’


“Argh just shut up will you? It’s your fault that we got into this trouble! Besides…” Jiyeon looked back at the small figure that was far ahead from them. “…we’re not lost, we’ve IU here to guide us. I guess this isn’t a bad thing after all.”




Eunjung slowed her pace upon hearing Jiyeon’s reply. She looked down to the ground, feeling guilty that she dragged troubles for the girl. Jiyeon stopped and turned back at Eunjung, looking at her curiously. Then realized what she just said to the girl. ‘She might be a play girl…but she has feelings too. Maybe I should stop making her feel bad. Weird. Why do I feel bad?’


“Unnie,” Eunjung’s head shot up as she heard Jiyeon called out her. “…mianhaeyo. I’m sorry.”


Eunjung stopped beside Jiyeon, she looked into her eyes with much sincerities, which touched Jiyeon’s heart.


“No, Jiyeon ah. I’m the one who supposed to apologize.”


Eunjung sighed, trying to get over it. Deep inside her, she was dying of happiness knowing Jiyeon did not call her with bad nicknames. She somehow felt weird because she never had this kind of feelings when it comes to a girl that she just likes to flirt at. Or maybe that Jiyeon wasn’t a girl-that-she-just-likes-to-flirt-at.


“Let’s go.” Jiyeon nudged Eunjung and started to walk ahead, smiling genuinely at her for the first time ever.


Eunjung was stunned, she started to walk behind Jiyeon as she gained a little consciousness. She held her chest with her hand and felt her heart beating rapidly, a smile slowly crawled onto her face as she experienced the feeling for the first time after a long while.


“Jiyeonie, can I ask you something?” Eunjung caught up and walked beside Jiyeon.


“No, I guess.”


Jiyeon started to jog a little, imitating IU’s acts earlier. Eunjung chuckled at her.


“I wasn’t going to ask some stupid questions like ‘hey, why are you so cute?’ like you would ask.” Eunjung rolled her eyes.


Jiyeon puckered her lips up making a cute angry expression at Eunjung. The latter looked away not wanting to be stunned by the cute girl.


“But IU is really cute, isn’t she?” Jiyeon laughed.


“You slowpokes, quit talking bad about me and hurry up!” They heard a faint voice coming from a far, a small figure ahead was turning around shouting at them before she continued to sprint.


'Wow. She even heard that?' Eunjung gulped.


“See? She’s cute.” Jiyeon remarked. “By the way, what did you want to ask? I don’t think there’s anything that I know that you don’t know, aren’t you smart?”


“ I wanted to know…are we friends?” asked Eunjung.


“What? I thought you take me as your next target as a toy?” replied Jiyeon.


Eunjung paused and thought for awhile why Jiyeon said that.



“I understand why you’ll think like that…” Eunjung sighed.


Jiyeon was waiting for Eunjung to explain or at least prove her wrong, but the latter just walked in silence. ‘Did she expect me to know what she’s thinking without telling me?’ She looked at Eunjung as if the girl did not plan to continue. She tried to take her unnies’ advice and talk to Eunjung, to know more about the girl.


“Say…are you going to set IU as another target as well?”


Eunjung stared at the girl beside her blankly, her jaw dropped in disbelief of what the girl had just asked.


“You seriously think I’m that kind of person?” Eunjung asked back.


“You know, she’s really cute, and I saw the looks in your eyes.”


“Enough, just stop it,” Eunjung looked back at the ground as she continued. “So I guess for my question earlier about we’re friends or not, I guess your answer is no right? You’re just another person who thinks that I’m a player.”


“Aren’t you? Then tell me, Eunjung. Tell me that I’m wrong, and why.”


Eunjung stared back at the girl and then looked away, releasing a sigh. She then gasped and jerked to Jiyeon, which caused Jiyeon to look at her curiously.


“W-What’s wrong?”


“B……BUGS!” Eunjung pointed at a green caterpillar crawling on the ground right beside her feet. She then dragged Jiyeon and walked faster which made the girl laughed at her.


“Seriously Eunjung? I don’t see you scream when you saw the snake earlier. And I thought Ham EunJung the charming prince isn’t afraid of anything.” teased Jiyeon.


“Just shut up and walk.” Eunjung blushed.


“Or are you trying to find chances to get closer to me? That’s not going to work, let go off me!” Jiyeon continued to laugh while pretending to shrug off Eunjung’s arms.


Eunjung looked at the girl for awhile after she calmed down, she sighed and then freed the girl’s arm.



Along the journey, they came across with different kinds of insects which freaked Eunjung out and caused her to cling on Jiyeon, with the girl kept making fun of her. As long as she was teased by Jiyeon, she felt that she was slowly losing the ability to tease back the girl. Now it seemed like they switched personality.


‘It’s fun to watch this side of Eunjung, behind her flirty image.’ Jiyeon thought as she was having fun teasing the girl in fear. Jiyeon was afraid of insects like bugs and grasshoppers as well, but Eunjung’s presence somehow got rid of her fear. It’s as if if one of them is in fear, another one should be the calm one and the protector. So did it mean that she’s Eunjung’s protector at the moment?


‘That’s not right.’ denied Jiyeon.

But the scene where Eunjung want to prevent Jiyeon from screaming by crashing her lips on to Jiyeon's is ALMOST epic..

*it would be epic if their lips is actually crashed...haha*

And Eunjung afraid of bugs??LOL..

But I don't get why they can be so far in the woods? >
