For what it's worth, here's my fan account, the last of the three providing coverage for this event.
Enduring this event for a prime glimpse of our girls in a unique US setting was a difficult one. It meant camping out at the very front of the stage for 7 hours since 10AM, braving +90F degree weather, absence of personal space, testing the limits of being dehydrated - this is just a small snapshot of my experience on Sunday, a testament to my unwavering support for our beloved T-ara.
Many speculated or have come to conclusions on how the setting of their 'debut' concert in America would be like. The environment was everything I had anticipated a pool party in Vegas during Memorial Day weekend could be - not exactly one that's compatible with their image. But my biggest disappointment comes from the fact that there was a lack of proper introduction by Chris Brown, more specifically, the critical link between T-ara N4 and Chris Brown that have been constantly circulated in the Korean media. We as dedicated fans (and those that just keep up with current events) know that to be true, but the rest of the crowd was oblivious to that, and they'd have no idea why there are 4 Koreans performing a song, in their native tongue, in what was predominantly a hip-hop and rap setting. Even a simple shout out from Chris Brown would've sufficed. (But in general, Chris Brown's appearance time totaled about 10 minutes out of the 7+ hour event and left much to be desired by his own fans. Many of *his* fans around me were understandably upset as well.) The only introduction came from one of the DJ's, stating that the girls came all the way from Korea.
To be fair, the remixed version of JWD played at the pool party, as well as the new choreography, was well suited for the event. There is some amount of cheering for the girls, as the crowd started to warm up to them. The ladies next to me were even asking me about them, and they definitely have become aware of T-ara N4. But for some reason, the song was interrupted, prompting a moment of confusion. "What happened?" can be clearly heard by Eunjung in my fancam. I was disappointed that the misunderstanding between different DJs concerning playing the remixed-yet-unreleased track resulted in an awkward moment for the girls. The music resumed, and was abruptly stopped again shortly afterwards. Eunjung took that moment to approach us and thank us by shaking our hands, having noticed us supporting them the entire way through. This small gesture alone means they really do appreciate us fans.

After their performance, I went to go drink some water because I was dehydrated from having camped out in the front since 10AM. T-ara N4 was escorted to an open VIP area near the pool where fans were able to get autographs and signatures. Though heavily guarded, the girls seemed in high spirits, and my friend snapped many pictures of them relaxing and having fun. I'm a little disappointed that I was not able to interact with them after their first performance, due to the tight security around them. T-ara does love to interact with their fans (Eunjung had taken a picture of us on her camera), especially since they had spotted us Queen's in the crowd waiting for them near the front and they made it known that they appreciated the support of us fans in light of a difficult situation. Many people have wondered where my selcas and pictures with them are - regrettably I came away empty-handed, because their guards always had the final say in turning me away. I had even talked to some of the bodyguards earlier in the day, which had me a little frustrated. Considering the amount of effort I put into attending this event, it left a little (or a lot) more to be desired when it comes to fanservice (and especially compared to my other friend’s numerous selcas), but this is through no fault of T-ara N4. At least I can find solace in knowing Eunjung had recognized me from the LA fanmeet two weeks prior. :)
After about 5 minutes, they were shortly escorted away to another location. Assuming they had left the venue, we had started to make our way back out when all of a sudden, T-ara N4 was called up to perform a second time roughly 15 minutes later after the first performance, which is the setting from the fancam currently being circulated, which took place after the DJs had apologized for cutting them off earlier. However, the effect is essentially similar to playing a song you just heard, again, so reception was understandably milder. Also, the supportive group/new fans standing around me was replaced by different people - since Chris Brown had presumably left. In both cases, T-ara N4 performed admirably, always giving it their all, and they definitely made us Queen's proud by putting on a stellar performance.
They had retreated back to their previously mentioned VIP area near the pool, where the bodyguard presence was heightened afterwards. I personally felt that after their second performance was not the best time to be asking for fanservice. We should have kept our distance, respecting their personal privacy at that point. Not everyone agreed with my point of view. The girls appeared a little less enthusiastic, seeing as they just performed the same song time twice to the crowd, but they only appeared that way and it could have been for any number of reasons. Unfortunately, another person from our group seemed to have misinterpreted what was seen and has passed it off as fact. For what it's worth, some of the members were still in high spirits afterwards - some were willing to take pictures. As one of the few people who actually attended the event, I can't say with confidence what actually happened unless we were actually talking to them. They were escorted out soon afterwards by security.
To clarify one of my tweets from the event, my disappointment mostly stems from the way that the event was handled. I want to emphasize that there is no reason to be concerned for T-ara N4's well being. I know their managers in the US are trying to give N4 a new start, but so far I'm deeply concerned about this venture. Fans in the US may be 'lucky' to see them in any case, but it's difficult to be a fan because their plans thus far have been so unpredictable. And the pool party is simply out of reach for most of their fans' demographic who wanted to see them perform live, as well as being very expensive. As far as fan presence goes, there were only three of us who went to the extent to see them there, so addressing the bodyguards and managers - is it too much to ask for a picture with them? The biggest gripe comes from the fact that Chris Brown didn't share the spotlight with the girls - how can we expect them to use this as a valid avenue to get exposure? Can we expect the same thing to happen at the BET awards in June? I hope in some way or form, this issue has been realized and addressed.
T-ara as a whole have been through a lot, and their perseverance in trying times is admirable and inspirational. Coupled with their down-to-earth personalities, which we have witnessed and experienced first-hand (for me at the past two events), they are all indeed the lovable idols that we have come to known them as. I sincerely hope that someday, T-ara can perform to a venue in the US packed to capacity with the supportive fans they so rightfully deserve.

Thanks for sharing what really happened in the event. Thank you also for sharing your opinions and feelings about it. You went through a lot but still manage to do updates and take some pics/vids. Queen's are thankful to you and pipam. Great work! <3

Well ending statement. Thank you for being there supporting the girls as well as being considerate toward the girls ^^

Thank you for this, the fan accounts of all and any kind really help to see all the sides of this little adventure of T-ara. If there's anything left to say is that things can't get worse, hopefully...

Although I disagree with one part of your account, I wanna say thank you for providing the real account of the performance. And I know for sure that no matter how the atmosphere was, it sure was an amazing performance for T-ara N4 and that's all it matters. I'm absolutely looking forward to their next performance at the Wiz Khalifa concert and I know that everyone will love the girls and give them a much more warmer response. I absolutely guarantee it

Thanks for the fan account. It's a pity you can't have some photos with the girls. But at least you had some at their meet & greet in LA already. For live event, I always appreciate / am contented with the fact that I could see and hear the idols in person, photos or fancams are just the bonus. I'm envious you had the chance to shake Eunjung's hand, talked to her too and saw them

close like that.

If I were you, I wouldn't feel it I had wasted my money coming to this event. I had hoped more Queen's could have been there to give them moral support, but I know it was impossible since their schedule in the States has been so unpredictable and revealed in the very last minute.

I know we can heap all the blame on CCM and whoever mangages them in this venture to the US, but at the end of the day, the girls are still the ones who receive the short end of the stick.

well... in my opinion.... CCM should not be the one who take all the blame.... all the balme, maybe not all but most, should go to CB that aho..... seriously, he was the one who invited our gals to perform with him but he didn't even show up on the stage at all..... (well if 10mins out of 7 hrs counts then.....) he didn't even give our gals a proper introdution..... I mean wth is that.... and the DJ as well.... just because of not wanting to leak the new song?? asking our gals to stop for no reason in the middle of their perfomence?? really?? To be honest I don't think CCM or whoever managed this would see this kind of thing could actually happened before the show....

Thanks guys (you & pippam) for sharing your accounts. Clears up alot of things.

One comment - horrible coordination and understanding. Before the performance, CCM and Chris Brown's side should set an accord on the songs to be performed and also if there would be any introductions by Brown before the girls take to the stage. Once the set list has been firmed up, all the performers and stage staff (including the DJs) should be informed so, and everyone should stick to the plan. As for Pippam's impression from his account (a good read nevertheless) that Chris Brown was supposed to share the stage and rap his part, I'm not going to speculate because we had so little idea of how JWD was revised for this event.

Like I said a week or so ago, T-ara should collaborate with proper U.S. artists and not those hiphoppers/rappers that have been mentioned in the press. Live and learn I guess.

well.... they are working wif this thing only because they are cb wif hiphop concept..... and Dani father is the one who pull both side tgt....

or else there would be no point to collaborate with any what so called proper US artists 'coz they really didn't plan to get into the US market...... they are not ready!!

Like they say all the time... all these happened in a sudden.... they didn't really ask for it... but simply saw a once in a life time opportunity and they catched it..... and not knowing what would come nxt..... again... although I really still don't get the full picture of what just happened, I want to say CB was jst being such an a-ho for leaving our gals on the stage alone.....

You summed it up pretty well:). I've read all 3 fan accounts, can't say that they surprised me. Crowd reception like this was expected, I think it's even better given the fact that CB didn't perform with them or introduced them. Not sure why they performed the same song twice tho. You should only do that to your fans only... Well there were 3 fans, so I guess they did it for them :D. Lucky mofos! :D But seriously, I kinda expected similar mess from CB, just thought that event organizers will be more professional. I've heard it was an expensive event to get into, so everything should have been planned to the smallest details. But it was not the case that day.

They did the 2nd perfomence only because the DJ asked them to..... In fact.. that was also unexpected and it is stated in the fanaccount.... anyway...

Agreed.

I believe Queen's all around the world are so grateful to the three of you to be physically there to show support :D

I'm just gonna leave the fangirling aside cs now I'm totally in curse-mode. Too bad I cant rly cursed in Diadem, so imma js make it as a clean-curse..XD

First of all, I hated C.B after the incident with Rihanna few years back. Now I freakin hated him more. What kind of host would invite someone else to perform, WITHOUT a proper introduction (despite friendly or not its another thing bt the most basic is PROPER INTRO) before N4 perform.

And freakin organise a pool party but out of 4 hours, only appear for 10 minutes.. And then leave the rest, stage, crowd to a group that the crowd majority didnt know and is main reason there is to meet mister Brown. =.= And clearly Mr.Brown here takes everything for granted. See the way he treat his fans. Exp.ticket for pool party.. Zzz

Anyone would ticked off for sure.. Zzz

P/S: I wish N4 can collab with Taylor Swift someday.. ^^

nothing beats seeing someone familiar in a pool of strangers....thanks so much for being there right in front under the hot sun for so long just so N4 can see that Queen's is there with them good or bad..

If we think about it in a positive way, the DJ said the song cant be leaked as it a new song. (the song has already known in korea, but not there so that the upcoming collaboration will be considered as new song) so in my opinion, the reason CB didnt introduce the girls as T-ara is that he expect people in US wouldnt search about t-ara and find out about real version of the song. Does he intend to make it his own song? I hope CB won't change the name of t-ara n4. We dont know yet, but the title of the song might be changed to something else. it has to be like WG n SNSD. WG- nobody (eng version), SNSD - the boys (eng version). I hope the song would be countryside diary/ rural life (eng version) - T-ara N4 ft. Chris Brown. Well i talk about the random things, I just hope CB wont mess up with my t-ara

7 hours to meet these wonderful girls. I like your dedication, lol, and honestly I would've done the same. I'm glad you got to meet them and happy to hear they were so receptive!
