  1. Neither. The two that left are Jiwon (now in SPICA who was mentioned) and Jiae. Idol groups tend to go through lots of lineup changes even before they debut like how Soyeon was in the pre-debut SNSD when she was at SM Entertainment.
  2. Watching this and thinking about Eunjung's sprained ankle now just makes me wince. I didn't really notice the footwork quite as much in the stage performances because of the constant cutting back and forth between cameras but it makes her performances even more remarkable.
  3. Those Hyomin & Boram pics look like a babysitter escorting a kid through a crowded place.
  4. ^ Just search for Sudden Attack in a search engine. Different geographical regions have different companies running the servers so you'll have to find the one that runs the servers where you are. Bear in mind that it's a freemium game though and the T-ara skins may be limited to the Korean servers only (they will cost money in any case). I wouldn't be comfortable playing a game where you shoot avatars based on real people though, especially real people who I quite like.
  5. I have to say, T-ara x Sudden Attack has to be one of the weirdest tie-ins I've seen. Granted there's a bit of gun violence in the Cry Cry MV but it's still a fair bit different to the concept of a first person shooter game. That said though, the designers have done a pretty good job with their in-game avatars.
  6. It's not that they didn't want to promote Roly Poly, it's just that Ya Ya Ya is more of a J-pop song and was more likely to do well without promotion than Roly Poly. J-pop fans generally fall for hooks and Ya Ya Ya's hooks (tribal concept, catchy repetition throughout the song) are more appealing than Roly Poly's. CCM probably had the intention of remaking Roly Poly in Japanese all along but from a business perspective it's far better to split them up and release them separately than to release them together.
  7. SNSD having more members means if they have the same average popularity per member they'd have more total fans as a group (although it doesn't necessarily work that way in real life). Also, their lineup has never changed since they debuted so they are all really familiar. I like them too but I really haven't been bitten by the bug of any of their songs from The Boys. T-ara have definitely been the better K-pop group this year.
  8. Ooh, a past and present leader collaboration to herald the new era. Should be a good way to start 2012. The spokesperson's quote made it sound like the leader does absolutely everything with the other girls contributing nothing although I'm sure in practice they are always discussing concepts and the finer details within and as a group.
  9. Hyomin must have quite a collection of canes by now. I also think a shame that Eunjung wasn't there to share the achievement.
  10. Distinctly an Eunjung short of a full compliment there... Hopefully that's just due to a scheduling conflict and not a health problem but I hate that their packed individual schedules sometimes prevent them from performing as a complete group.
  11. I expected it to be Soyeon as she seems most leader-like out of the girls who haven't had the role yet. Hyomin has done extremely well with her spell due to her high artistic creativity but I definitely think Soyeon has the qualities and confidence to leave her mark on the group. I'm looking forward to it.
  12. In a way it could be viewed as that but sometimes MVs have the song's dance performed in several different outfits and we only get to see a small percentage of each one even though it's likely that all versions have been recorded in their entirety. Look at the I Go Crazy Because of You where there are at least 4 different settings for the group dance. In total the yellow/black/white outfit version probably appears for less that 10 seconds of the MV and on top of that there are also the individual shots. I think it's just a way to show the work that the girls have put in for their promotions rather than let the footage go to waste.
  13. I honestly think it's their best song yet so it deserves the all-kill. I hope they scoop the music show awards now.
  14. I find it quite funny that Qri is wearing both sunglasses (symbol of being incognito) and one of the most conspicuous hoodies possible. Also, even though the soles of Boram's shoes are really thick, she's still a fair bit shorter than the others.
  15. Their popularity must be sky high in Japan to need to do a high-five event rather than the normal handshaking event. Presumable it's so they're able to get to connect with a lot more fans than a handshaking event would allow in the time they have. Still, that's a whole lot of high-fives!
