[16.07.24] Jiyeon to collaborate with 2BIC's Junhyung for Ahn Youngmin project album
Composer Ah Youngmin, a writer of many of T-ara's song such as Cry Cry, Day By Day, Apple is A, I'm So Bad, etc., will be releasing a project album tonight at 12 AM KST. Jiyeon will be participating in a track for the album in collaboration with 2BIC's Junhyung, including a feature by Yoo Yo.

It's been a long time since I released a project album under my name and it will be released tonight at 12 AM KST.
It is an album that will have a portion of its profits donated, so T-ara's Jiyeon gladly participated too. 2BIC's Junhyung and rookie R&B singer Yoo Yo also provided support.
Please listen to this one song that is hot but cool and refreshing at the same time.

Oh Jong Hyuk and Soyeon have recently agreed to break-up from being lovers and remain as a senior-junior relationship. Singer and musical actor Oh Jong Hyuk and Soyeon, busily having activities in Korea, China and Japan, decided they were unable to keep up with the relationship.
This piece of news was revealed by both Oh Jong Hyuk and Soyeon’s agencies. It can be confirmed from their SNS pages too. Oh Jong Hyuk and Soyeon’s SNS accounts show that they are no longer friends. Likewise, Click B’s members are no longer friends with Soyeon on various SNS pages too.
Before the both of them started dating, they started off with a senior-junior and singer-fan relationship in the entertainment industry. Oh Jong Hyuk debuted in 1999 with Click B while Soyeon was a fan of him before debuting in 2009 with T-ara. Soyeon’s affection towards Oh Jong Hyuk was revealed on a broadcast and became widely known afterwards. Before Soyeon debuted with T-ara, she spent all of her allowance as a trainee and bought a sofa as present to be sent to Click B’s dormitory. This was also widely known among fans.
Oh Jong Hyuk and Soyeon’s relationship started since December 2010 and was only first revealed to the public in September 2013. They were having their 1000th day celebration party and their date was captured and reported by various media. Both of their agencies then revealed at that time, “they have been dating for almost 3 years now.”
Oh Jong Hyuk enlisted in the Marine Corps in April 2011. Even then and after, Soyeon was still passionately caring for him. Even when Soyeon was busy with schedules, she would call, write letters, and even visit Oh Jong Hyuk secretly so as not to let the media find out about their relationship. Likewise, Oh Jong Hyuk was by Soyeon’s side and her huge pillar of strength when T-ara was having their hardest times after debut. He was able to give her warmth and support when T-ara had various kinds of rumours and scandals harming them.
Unfortunately, Oh Jong Hyuk and Soyeon’s 6-year love had to be ended. Starting from a star-fan relationship to being lovers, Oh Jong Hyuk and Soyeon had eventually decided to remain in a senior-junior relationship.

Girl group T-ara has been actively taking up schedules in the recent few years. They appeared on stages of various events and the broadcasts of satellite TV stations that span across numerous provinces.
Apart from Beijing and Shanghai, T-ara visited Chengdu, Guangzhou, Harbin, Hunan Province, Zhejiang Province, and many other areas in China.
T-ara began their advancement into China after their remake of the song Little Apple, originally sang by Chopstick Brothers, a duo considered the Chinese version of Korean viral sensation, PSY.
The song was originally made to promote a Chinese movie Old Boy which Chopstick Brothers starred in. Chopstick Brothers and T-ara filmed the music video remake and which was featured on Youku and Tudou home pages, boosting T-ara’s popularity and recognition within China within a short period of time.
After seeing this, the son of an extremely wealthy Chinese tycoon Wang Si Cong set up an entertainment agency and signed a contract with T-ara. As a result of this music video, T-ara became even more famous in countries such as Thailand and Vietnam too.
But above all, T-ara’s popular songs that give a special feeling to listeners are the reasons why T-ara enjoys such popularity in China. Little Apple is a song that does not fit other Korean girl groups well but somehow, fits T-ara very well. Little Apple’s melody is different from T-ara’s hit song Roly Poly but the mood of both songs are quite similar.
Perhaps it’s because T-ara’s retro dance and ballad songs give off a kind of familiar and comfortable flavour. The songs are also accompanied with a sense of sadness. It is said that this kind of music style fits the general Chinese population’s taste very well.
Korean songs like Roly Poly, Cry Cry, We Were In Love, Lovey Dovey, etc. have shown their strong emphasis on music quality. Roly Poly is very popular in Japan too.
Compared to the usual girl groups, T-ara took a different path in terms of music styles. This could be another reason why they are so well-received in China. T-ara’s songs gives a sense of familiarity in terms of melody and unique rhythm. T-ara’s songs also carry similar characteristics that can be found in Trot songs, such as feelings of sadness and grief. The addictiveness of the songs plays a part in appealing to the general Chinese population as well.
Bo Peep Bo Peep is cute, I Go Crazy Because Of You is sexy and Roly Poly is exciting.
Kim Kwang Soo said, "T-ara's songs draw the exotic elements of the Trot genre but the interior of the song arrangements are always reformed and modernized."
T-ara is so popular in China recently probably because their songs are made this way.

Do you remember T-ara's concert in Thailand? (2012)
Yes, I do. Thai fans were so energetic. We felt the energy from the fans and it spurred us to perform more passionately. Actually, T-ara wishes we can come back to Thailand. We want to see Thai fans again. Now, I'm glad that I got to come to Thailand before my friends, shooting a film and meeting fans. Seeing the fans, the desire to have another concert here is stronger.
T-ara has navigated away from music scene for a long period. Will you have a comeback?
Yes. (Whispers) Possibly within this year. We're in the midst of recording. I can yet reveal the details. I'll later sneakily tell Thai fans first, possibly. (Laughs.)
Aside from group projects, do you have plans for a solo comeback?
I released a solo mini album last year, under the name of Elsie. After the release of T-ara's new album, if the opportunity arises, I wish for another solo release.
Many Thai kids dream of becoming Korean idols. What are the required characteristics to be an Korean artist?
Mmmm. I may not qualified to give advice. I'm not that famous.

At first, no one thought Korean music would ever be successful or appreciated worldwide. What do you think is the factor of K-pop's success?
In my opinion, it's because Korean idols are hard-working and versatile. We can sing, act, appear on TV shows etc. We don't stop, we keep venturing into new fields. Also, we try new music genres, that way our music is diverse. So, it may please foreigners' tastes easier.

How was it living Thai folk's lifestyle?
It went well. I thought I wouldn't make it as I'm always in the city. After I tried this lifestyle, it was great.
What was your favorite activity?
Rice planting. I also loved when I went to Karen village. I also love trying wickerwork, seeing cows and water buffaloes. Everything was a refreshing experiences to me.
What in Thailand did you like the most?
The smiles. The Thai greeting manner. They gave a kind and warm vibe.
How was it working with Thais?
Everything in the program was a first time experience. I rarely have time to go traveling with friends, I'm always workinh. Here, I can work, and travel as well. It's very enjoyable.
What do you wish to relay to Koreans (about Thailand)?
I really want you to visit here. You haven't seen the real Thailand if you haven't been here. It's different from typical tours. It feels like a friend is guiding you.
How was Northern food?
I must have gained weight. (Laughs.) It was so delicious that I forgot I was filming.
Have you fallen in love with Thailand?
I have. I've always liked Thailand and this trip made me love it. I liked the food, the smiles, the temple, the dancing, the folk dress. Ah, I love Thailand.
What have you gained from this program?
I feel like crying. (Eyes brimming.) This was a touching experience. I had a filming in Thailand before but I didn't get to travel. Now that I've taken a trip, it left a deep impression. Thailand feels like a second home to me. (Cries.) This is embarrassing.
How was Sarah? (Eunjung's Thai travel mate and TV host.)
I felt happy being with her. She had an aura that made people around her happy. Sarah was a precious part of the trip. She showed me that Thai girls are very sweet. She's funny, I smiled through out the trip.
Are you excited that the program will soon air?
I'm kind of worried because the program was too real. (Laughs.) Viewers may think "eh? This is what Eunjung's like?" They may be surprised. I'm worried and excited. Either way, I had fun and was happy during filming.
Your film (Microlove) will premiere in July. How do you feel?
I'm so excited. I'm the first Korean actress to play in a Thai film. My fans—Koreans are also anticipating it, how it will turn out.
How do you feel being the first lead Korean actress in a Thai film?
I'm nervous. I wish to have many more shoots here, and maybe not just films.
How long have you stayed in Thailand? Will you miss it when you go back?
8 days. I've never filmed a reality for 8 days straight. This is the very first time. If my friends are ever talking about Thailand, I'll surely jump in. I feel familiar with Thailand.

Hey Queen's!
Diadem just underwent some major changes as we have upgraded our IPB 3 to the very latest IPB 4. This comes with a lot of changes to the look and format.
In terms of look, we're very bare bones right now but we are currently in progress of creating a whole new theme. In the mean time, the forum's are back online for everyone to regularly use.
Couple things to note, all our content is currently being "rebuilt", so if you come across any broken links and tags, missing posts or images, etc. please do bare with us as the system does it's work, it will all be back in order very soon. Additionally, Awards have been reset but don't worry, we'll have everyone's awards back as normal. No need to make requests for what you already have again.
If anything seems out of place, worry not, we're likely already aware and are working on it. However don't hesitate to notify us of any issues, errors, etc.

Hello, I'm using Opera Mini 7.6 as browser and it only shows a blank page everytime i click a topic on the forums whether mobile or web view. It used to work before and I did not do any change on my phone, so I'm thinking it's some bug problem with the site making it uncompatible with o.m.
Right now, I'm using another browser but I still prefer accessing the forums with O.M.because it loads faster especially with the photos. If someone could help, I'd be very grateful

Jiyeon, who had debuted 7 years ago, says she wants to travel back in time and some of the unfortunate things that had happened.
Jiyeon said in her interview with GanGee magazine’s March issue, “The most memorable moment since debut was winning first place with Bo Peep Bo Peep. The memory is still deeply etched in my mind. It was January 1st, 2010.”
Jiyeon was asked a question: personally, what do you think is the most unfortunate thing that has happened to you? She replied, “when we’re having group activities, our image is always the same. We always seem to have this mindset of ‘it’ll be alright if we just stick to our decided image, right?’ That has e trapped in just a ‘T-ara's Jiyeon’ kind of image.”
Jiyeon went on to say, “I thought to myself at some point, this won’t cut it and I’m still young so I really have a lot of sides of me that I want to show everyone. We're just starting our activities in China and I’ll try my best to show a new side of me.”
“I got really busy after debuting, but as our popularity started to drop, activities significantly reduced, that’s the reality. After suffering so many problems, I really want to try looking back on my old self once again.”
Jiyeon was asked of her plans for acting and said, “frankly speaking, I want to act in a drama. I’m also thirsty for a T-ara album.”
When asked, “you seem to be eager for a casting in an variety show too?” Jiyeon replied, “yes. It’s a pity that I don’t have much chances to appear in variety programmes that feature female stars like Invincible Youth and Heroes, two of which I've appeared in before. I really want to be cast in a female gossip reality or variety show.”
When asked, “if you were to be cast in a female gossip reality or variety show, who do you want to casted with?” Jiyeon replied, “I’m the closest with IU and Luna. We’re 93-liners so I think the show would be very fun if we were to gather together.”
T-ara are Jiyeon are currently having a Chinese tour right now and taking a break from Korean activities. T-ara is planning to release a new album around summer.
Meanwhile, Jiyeon will be appearing on the China-Korea variety show Tao Han Guo on Wuhan TV (a network with viewership rating of about 50 to 200 million) and China video streaming website Youku (up t 1.3 billion viewers) next month.

The official Weibo of upcoming anime Sesisan Cerberus (Holy War Cerberus) has revealed Eunjung will be singing the Chinese version of the theme song!
Seisen Cerberu: Ryukoku no Fatalité (Holy War Cerberus: Fatalité of Dragon Time), originally a card game, is a collaboration between Gree, TV Tokyo, China's iQIYI and Medialink Entertainment Limited. The anime will be available to stream worldwide on iQiyi in March and will make it's TV premiere on TV Tokyo in April.

T-ara's Eunjung, Hyomin and Jiyeon will be visiting Vietnam after 2 years.
On the 25th, MBK revealed that the trio will be departing for Vietnam on the 12th of March in order to greet Vietnam fans and hold a special 3-day V Live broadcast.
2 years ago, 2000 fans had crowded the airport to greet the Korean girl group, showcasing their immense popularity. Eunjung, Hyomin and Jiyeon say they are excited to meet their Vietnam fans once again.
Additionally, the 3 T-ara members will as well be attending a mobile phone launch event on the 15th.
Meanwhile, Hyomin is gearing up for her solo comeback, having recently released the first teaser photos.

[16.08.20] T-ara are finalists in Billboard's Fan Army Face-Off, expecting 2nd consecutive win
Girl group T-ara are in the finals of Billboard's Fan Army Faceoff for the second year in a row.
In the on-going 2016 Billboard Fan Army Face-Off, T-ara are up against 30 Seconds to Mars led by well known movie star, Jared Leto.
Originating in 2014, the Fam Army Face-Off pits fans of different artists against each other in a tournament format to determine the most powerful fandom. In 2014, 30 Seconds to Mars' Echelons wrestled against Big Bang's VIP for the championship; VIP took home the win. In 2015, T-ara's Queen's succeeded over One Direction's Direction in what was a grand scale semi finals and eventually took the win from Beyonce's Beyhive in the finals.
Currently, Queen's hold a strong lead with 43,576 votes against Echelon's 11,158 votes. 10 days still remain to vote but it looks like T-ara can already expect another win for the 2nd year in a row.
T-ara has been enjoying popularity in China for several years, which certainly shows in the fans' votes for the Fan Army Face-Off. Meanwhile the group will be preparing for the 2016 T-ara Great China Tour Concert In Shanghai Final to be held on September 17th.
