  1. No they're following her for the right reasons. I don't care about the recent surge in Hwayoung fans because suddenly Day By Day really showcased her talents, I'm glad it has. Though some of the early adopters see that as bandwagoning. They're supporting her because she is, in simple terms, being bullied. Not directly, but honestly when do groups of girls ever directly insult one another. And not by some anti or a rival group member, but her own T-ara sisters. Maybe it's not confirmed but the evidence and speculation does not look good and the silence from CCM and T-ara is deafening. I'd be in support of any member of any group for being a victim of bullying by those closest to them. Confirmed or not.
  2. There is legit bullying where someone is actually a victim and takes offense to the actions [like a bigger student forcefully taking money from a smaller one] and there's a the playful type between sports teams, group of friends, etc. The latter describes your situation. I really doubt they hold any real grudges or plot revenge. I'm quoting this exact post as an example of how something posted online can be taken one of many ways. Tone is inferred by the reader, so you can read it like I did believe that Tsurara is being sarcastic and pretty much saying that the post he quoted is faulty and that Hwayoung is NOT the problem. Or you could read it at face value and get the idea that he is agreeing with the quoted post and saying Hwayoung is indeed the problem. See how different the two views are? See how difficult it would be for someone not fluent in English to catch that? The Tweets could've gone one of two ways; motivational, kinda like a last push or a underhand jab at an unspecified subject. When Hwayoung tweets started rolling in, one can deduce it was the latter. IDK maybe Hwayoung is having a bad day, so why isn't anyone encouraging her...they had 5/8 members reply to Hyomin's tweet that was not directly towards anyone. Then when these negative conclusions came out, why didn't Soyeon or Eunjung or CCM come out and put the fire out totally by saying the fans are taking it wrong and that they were just venting their frustation, not at anyone but in general, they do it plenty on Twitter. The point is there were numerous points where any of the members or CCM/KKS could've easily squashed this situation from spiraling down to what it is and they didn't. This is no PR stunt, they've alienated a fanbase and turned Kpop fans in general against T-ara. I want to be wrong, very wrong. But forreal though, it ain't easy being a T-ara fan lol.
  3. This is getting ridiculous...it's 4AM here. When I wake up, I hope someone tweets "lol jk" or something and KKS' big announcement is a concert in the US. Wishful thinking amirite?
  4. Stuff in writing can always be misinterpreted because the tone is what the reader thinks, not what the writer intends. But the stuff following ironed everything out and CCM would not have to respond that way if it were just the girls trying to motivate one another and not passive jabs at Hwayoung. Not one girl came out of the woodworks to say "OMG you people took that the wrong way" which T-ara has done quite a lot in the past when something negative swung their way. Apparently this happened a few days ago too...so they have plenty of time to clear the air since.
  5. Wow I just read the Twitter thing. While I really hope it's just things blown out of proportion, I don't believe in coincidences. Being a self-taught pessimist doesn't help either. KKS would know better than to outright terminate any of the girls, but the idea of splitting up cripples both sides. I really hope it's an announcement of the dude giving them a real 1-2 week break, not for promos or babysitting Gangkiz or w/e, to cool off. T-ara's been crashing and burning for too long. Yeah simultaneously hacked, with no other tweets before or after being out of the ordinary and the questionable tweets still exist. That's what happened lol. I get mad at friends and family all the time, don't mean I seriously hate them. Hope it's just a vent for the group's overall frustration. Sucks that it's directed toward Hwayoung though... It's tough being a T-ara fan.
  6. You know what I've noticed, that whatever new song no matter who makes it, it will reach some #1 spot somewhere. Which is why I believe companies will time releases close but never on the same day. This is just an observance from a a casual fan but feel free to correct me. That explains how some of these groups come out of the wood works and have a chart topper with an okay song. That way they can still "beat" bigger more popular groups because then that group's single will be old. It's like movie releases in February, nothing is good but something still has to be the best lol. It's like giving trophies out to the winner for winning and the losers for participating.
  7. I don't understand a lot of the things they do in Kpop...even as a Korean. But I really don't get why an average group age is important. Last time I checked, adding Dani did not make Boram or Qri any younger. More harm than good maybe. On a side note. I suggest Diadem's next project be food support for Dani. Send her like 200 cheeseburgers.
  8. Well he does have them whipped, that's for sure. But is it really that hard to believe maybe the current members welcome the new ones? I don't take any of the members of being a big enough xxxx that they'd actually dislike the new members simply for joining the group late. The idea of adding/replacing members is not a new on in Kpop or any group-oriented business or franchise. The way he's approaching is def questionable. Miami wasn't mad about getting Lebron, you know. Especially now.
  9. Oh heyyy look at that. Soyeon is receiving the new members in a nice, friendly manner, not to mention protective [oh who can imagine from what]. Something perhaps some T-ara fans should look into... Yeah yeah Jiyeon lost her maknae position, so what. You do know that it costs less to house nine people in one home/apartment/condo than having multiple, even two places with 4-5 members each? But that's not being cheap, that's to make day-day living easier. Have you ever been in a house with so many people? It becomes a bit of a frenzy.
  10. Eunjung is the all-package entertainer. I don't see how this girl can not be everyone's bias.
  11. Niiice. Just caught it, much more entertaining to way then the Cry Cry/Lovey Dovey drama MVs but this one is a good bit shorter. They played the post apocalyptic thing well, the absence of guns and common use of swords was a nice plausible touch. Though if they have functioning vehicles, one can assume guns aren't totally obsolete. Dani being blind was a nice touch too. Unfortunate that EJ wasn't here but she looks like a big player in the next one. OH AND HWAYOUNG'S RAP > all.
  12. Shoot they can keep the fan club money if they'll lower price of their Japanese albums.
  13. Right click and view image. The pic is resized for the boards. Resolution is about the same...
  14. So Dani is supposedly the 9th member and debut much later in the year, while Areum is the 8th and anticipated to come in July...so why does T-ara's next single have Dani all over and not Areum? We also got info and later, official confirmation for Dani much quicker than Areum. Just wondering as I always stumble on articles late.
  15. Psh this article has everything wrong. It's Joo Jihoon who got casted alongside Eunjung. Eunjung second to a pill popper?
  16. Yall are tripping. Brave Bros FTW. At least three of those tracks look appealing just by producers alone. Though T-ara has a VERY good track record for having good "filler" tracks that, IMO, can be better than their promoted singles. Cmon son Brave Bros put Sistar on the map. Keep our head up cause we're mighty Sistar!
  17. Not only did Boa debut solo, but she also debuted in a time when there wasn't much Kpop. Boa is old testament lol.
  18. Best comment here lol. Seriously folks, let the girl do what she feels is in her best interest. Some of you guys are losing sleep over such trivial things.
  19. I'm looking forward to it. She's more enthusiastic about joining than the other new girl. Lol how is she to join sooner than Dani yet we rarely hear about her.
  20. Man such support for this new girl while Dani got completely dogged by some of you guys. Regardless they'll all have mine. Dani more so because she needs it lol.
  21. I clicked the second one thinking it was Eunjung. I may be crazy but it seems like Hwayoung is slowly taking over Eunjung. The rapping, the lines in songs [Eunjung has practically been reduced to bg vocal or hook] and now the hair. It's conflicting cause Eunjung is my favorite but I'm an avid Hwayoung supporter too lol.
  22. Why ya'll hating on her before she even has a chance. Making such strong opinions from pictures and news articles. Honestly...KKS, that was a bit creepy though lol. Dani is a freaking kid though, we'll see how she does as she transitions through teenage and young adult years...that American upbrining is gonna bump heads with Korean business sooooo much.
  23. It doesn't surprise me. They fail to list who or what companies made such offers and if it the multiple offers totaled the 200+, or if a single offer was that much. AND let's be serious if they were trying to seem humble, the right thing would be to let such incidents die down rather than go straight to reporting it. Whatever the case it worked though, I already like the new girl a good bit lol.
  24. I understand those upset over the addition of the new members because it's a "fix" to something not broken, but to those upset because the maknae position changed, are you F-ing serious?. T-ara fans already catch a good amount of flak but some of you sure earn it. Though I agree the addition of new members may result in some current members leaving, I think the super active members have just as much risk leaving as Boram or Qri.
