Toan reacted to Elly in Updates on the 5th Anniversary T-ara Forest Construction Project
    Hi guys!
Last night, I received an update from our Friends in Korea and TreePlanet regarding the construction details of the Forest we sponsored to be built in commemoration of T-ara's 5th Debut Anniversary.
In our previous update, we've said that the construction will be underway during the Autumn and is set to open for public use by the end of 2014. However, there's been amendments made to the contract and there will be some changes. The full details of the construction plan are outlined as follows:

The forest will now be located near KBS, right above the National Assembly Station in Seoul (as opposed to beside the MNet Complex). The contract drafted for the previous location (around the Digital Media Station) was denied so we were directed to a different place instead. The map above shows the area where our forest will be built.

Above, you'll see a flat diagram of the plan we have in store for the T-ara Forest. We've included translations to the different plants, flowers, and trees that will be living inside our forest. Plant/tree names without translations are those that we couldn't find English translations to. You can refer to how each plant looks like below (so you can better visualize the forest):

    왕벚나무 (Yoshino Cherry Trees)
    산소유 (Cornus)
    원추리 (Daylilies)
    배롱나무 (Crape Myrtle Trees)
    남천 (Nandinas)
    회양목 (Boxwood)
    청단풍
    자산홍
    맥문동 (Lilyturf)
    모란 (Tree Poenies)
    화살나무 (Winged Spindle)
    옥잠화 (Hostas)
The construction will start this month (November 2014). We can expect to see the forest fully built by the end of the year or early 2015. When the forest opens to the public, there will be signs around the forest to let visitors know that it was built in celebration of T-ara's 5th Anniversary. Moreover, visitors will know that the forest was fully sponsored to be built by T-ara's fans. TreePlanet is in the process of building the official webpage to go along with the forest. Visitors are able to scan a QR code to view more information about the Forest. This includes all the people and/or websites that teamed up to make the forest happen.
We will continue to post updates on the forest as we receive them. We would like to thank all our donors and all the QUEEN's that participated, donated, and actively spread the word about our forest project. To recap, we successfully raised almost $9,000.00 with our friends at T-araDotCom, T-ARA6JAPAN, and T-araHK to make this forest come to life; and as you can see from the plan, all the money we've collected are being put towards a great cause!
If you have any questions regarding the details posted above, please send them over at the comments below. We will try our best to answer your questions.

In my opinion that person would be Hyomin. Instead of "visual" being about looks, to me its more about who appeals more on stage. And when it comes to stage presence, I think I almost (if not always) voted for Hyomin. Her confidence on stage is very distinctively.

I've read through it all and decided to ignored most of it. I respect your opinion on the "what-if" situation, but can't say that I agree to them or anything. I don't like to speculate what would have happened "if some other actions was made" etc. because the what if situation never account the possibility that an alternative route within that what-if could have happened.
I can't even agree on the comeback of SL. It's simply a haste consider there was only 2 months between DBD and SL, even worse 1 month between the scandal and SL. Had CCM handled the scandal better like Scatter_88mil mentioned, the comeback would have been reasonable. At least then there would be a good chance that a portion of the public would no longer misunderstood T-Ara and contributed to the SL comeback. But since that didn't happen, so SL to me is still just a hasty move. But personally I wouldn't even bother talking about this whole what-if anymore. Like T-Ara said, the only thing they can do now is to acknowledge that they made a mistake and will try to work hard to regain the love. And so I also moved on.

    Good
    1. Hard-working, that's given.
    2. Most of their songs are enjoyable (purely opinionated).
    3. (purely opinionated) Soyeon's low-mid vocal + Eunjung's high vocal is one of my favorites, if not the most favorite.
    4. The dancing in their music videos is very nice.
    5. (purely opinionated) I don't like rap (some rappers ruined the rest for me, not naming names, don't want to create unnecessary fighting), but I found T-Ara's rap enjoyable.
    6. They're all cute/pretty. Sexy is kind of pushing it (again, opinionated), but then again not everyone prefer sexy over cute/pretty.
    Bad
    1. KKS/CCM. That's also a given. Things from ridiculously packed schedules, very, very bad music videos' stunts & special effects, delayed releases, "repackage albums" and the infamous "remixes" that's literally just adding a 10-15s non-vocal intro.
    2. Lines distribution, could be a little more even. I'm not even asking for even distributions, just ad least give each member 2-3 lines instead of like 2s & the rest is harmony.
    3. Leader system (personal opinion, and don't bother trying to argue and convince me otherwise). I like it better with the traditional older (often more matured, not always, but often) being the leader.
    4. Too many members changes given the amount of active time.
    5. Could use more live performances during promotions. That would means more focus in singing & less on dancing. More ballads, that'd be nice too. Who doesn't love Good Person (excepts the haters)?
    6. My first real chance of seeing T-Ara at a concert was destroyed!
That's all that I can really think of right away

Well the US music industry is one of the largest out there, so that's why. Although I don't think it's right for them to try to break in the US music scene either, it also doesn't hurt to try and see the actual outcome for themselves instead of fearing it because of previous attempts from different people in the same related-field.
If they ended up not getting the success in their US attempt, as long as they keep being active back in their own scenes instead of ignoring their dominant scenes + keep trying to break in the US market, it should be fine.
On a side note (not toward you migger), the multiple versions of the same song is so typical of CCM...idk if I'll be able to enjoy all of them, but I already have some sort of idea the version with Snoop Dogg lol...

    8. I like the song, but didn't really like the male harmony in the beginning of the first verse (where Hyomin raps and you hear the SPEED member rapping along. It's probably just me, but it bothers me). The rest of the song is good, I have nothing to say lol.
