  1. If we are to be worried about legal issues, I would suggest that we should make sure what we are doing is legal (subbing while crediting original producers) before continuing releasing subbed videos.
Unless you have express permission from the copyright holders, it's not. It doesn't matter whether you credit or not, if you don't own the copyright or have a licence to distribute or create derivative works (which fansubbing would be classed as) then it's an infringement on the copyright holder's rights.

That said, I don't believe the TV companies are overly concerned about fansubs. They may be enforcing their copyright on Youtube videos but in less well-publicised places they let it slide for now.

  2. ^ Just search for Sudden Attack in a search engine. Different geographical regions have different companies running the servers so you'll have to find the one that runs the servers where you are. Bear in mind that it's a freemium game though and the T-ara skins may be limited to the Korean servers only (they will cost money in any case). I wouldn't be comfortable playing a game where you shoot avatars based on real people though, especially real people who I quite like.

  3. their company is weird.1st they dont want to promote roly poly so they over confident promote ya ya ya then want to focus more with korea comeback.now, they promote roly poly??
It's not that they didn't want to promote Roly Poly, it's just that Ya Ya Ya is more of a J-pop song and was more likely to do well without promotion than Roly Poly. J-pop fans generally fall for hooks and Ya Ya Ya's hooks (tribal concept, catchy repetition throughout the song) are more appealing than Roly Poly's. CCM probably had the intention of remaking Roly Poly in Japanese all along but from a business perspective it's far better to split them up and release them separately than to release them together.
  4. SNSD having more members means if they have the same average popularity per member they'd have more total fans as a group (although it doesn't necessarily work that way in real life). Also, their lineup has never changed since they debuted so they are all really familiar. I like them too but I really haven't been bitten by the bug of any of their songs from The Boys. T-ara have definitely been the better K-pop group this year.

  5. Ooh, a past and present leader collaboration to herald the new era. Should be a good way to start 2012.

The spokesperson's quote made it sound like the leader does absolutely everything with the other girls contributing nothing although I'm sure in practice they are always discussing concepts and the finer details within and as a group.

  6. Anyway, this sounds overkill, are they overworking them again?

In a way it could be viewed as that but sometimes MVs have the song's dance performed in several different outfits and we only get to see a small percentage of each one even though it's likely that all versions have been recorded in their entirety. Look at the I Go Crazy Because of You where there are at least 4 different settings for the group dance. In total the yellow/black/white outfit version probably appears for less that 10 seconds of the MV and on top of that there are also the individual shots. I think it's just a way to show the work that the girls have put in for their promotions rather than let the footage go to waste.
