  1. I think most people are preordering from Yesasia, I know a lot of people like their free shipping. I think I'm going to order from CDJapan, but both places are good. With this coming out at nearly the same time as the SNSD collection, I'm a little scared to calculate how much money I might be spending the next few months lol.
  2. Thanks for linking those videos, and I agree, it really doesn't match up.
  3. People here at Diadem have come across sources (such as Kqueen's on Twitter) who say it was just a few people who turned off their lights (and not everyone even had a light). Someone said even Allkpop of all places wrote it was only some people, and not the whole crowd (and we know how they like to exaggerate). We all know T-ara's tweets damaged their reputation, but I have a feeling this article is trying to blow this out of proportion. And it's likely just anti-fans in the crowd who never liked them in the first place, so who cares really. Someone in the general public obviously still likes them, or 'Sexy Love' wouldn't even be on the charts right now. EDIT: And here is an article pointed out by @shawnkang731204 where it says (if I'm reading it right) everyone was singing along and that only "some" people turned off their lights, and otherwise the article says it was a successful performance: http://www.newspim.com/view.jsp?newsId=20120910000010
  4. This news made me smile. Like a true princess, Qri has great penmanship.
  5. Yeah I also saw Oniontaker write that. I think he also believed it was real, but I saw someone tweet to him that it was a fake, and it seems no one has accepted it as real. I was very confused when I first saw it, lol.
  6. Pretty sure that was a faked post. The fan cafe one you mention is the real one.
  7. Sorry, it was so late when I wrote that, I see millions of mistakes in my grammar, lol. I almost think I should delete it. You seem to know what I was trying to say, but I meant to write I don't think you're fake if you doubt them or are disappointed but still support them, and I don't think you're delusional if you believe they are innocent. It's what you're basing your opinions on that matter, and whether you are looking at the problem from both perspectives.A big part of the appeal of Kpop is the flawless image of the idols, so I can't bash on that aspect too much. I just wanted to clarify I have no problem with people having very high expectations for their idols, but I don't think it's right to throw out poorly formed accusations when they let you down. Even though I think member additions were a mistake, I still like Hwayoung a lot, and I miss her. Too bad it ended up like this.
  8. I think what really matters is if ratings go down when they appear. In the long run, the producers care more about money than idiots ranting on message boards. I'm also curious about the ratings for the dramas they are in. If the viewers are there, and the fans are buying the music, I think the influence of the netizens will decrease dramatically.
  9. Maybe CCM hired awesome attornies like Phoenix Wright..."Objection!"
  10. Well, I'm pretty sure they will turn him down, I think they are having too much fun being in the news. I guess they might accept if they think he will give them money to keep quiet. Can't wait to see the "protest". It should provide for some comic relief!
  11. Yeah, the Kpop industry doesn't make a lof of sense sometimes. Like Eunjung's injury getting worse from being forced to shuffle on her injured ankle. I have a hunch that KKS saw the negativity directed towards him after that, so he decided to let Hwayoung sit on a chair instead.I hurt my ankle pretty bad once, and it was close to the most intense pain I've ever felt, and it doesn't let up. No doubt Hwayoung hurt herself much worse than I did, so I can only hope she can somehow rest and heal up during this time.
  12. Just want to say that I've seen many groups make those types of comments when being interviewed for a comeback. The reporter asks why they are confident, and they respond with something unique about them as a group. It's expected from them in the interview, meaning it's planned ahead of time. I've seen tons of groups say "our advantage is that we are very confident in our music" or "we have a strong will to succeed", etc.Plus, the translations make those types of Korean expressions sound much more blunt than they really are. She probably just said something about their ability to keep calm under pressure. I didn't see the interview so I can't comment on that specifically, I just wanted to express how it's not really serious.
  13. Yes, and that is especially true at the crappy company that is CCM. The sad part is, I never expected him to tell us the truth, but without even a decent lie as to why she didn't go on stage, there is even less chance the rumors are going to slow down.
  14. And there is still no explanation as to why she didn't appear on stage, not that I'd expect him to tell the truth. Like everyone is saying, it seems we will never hear it addressed unless one of the members defies him and makes a statement about it. And this doesn't seem to indicate whether or not she has rejoined T-ara. I guess he's saving that for later?
  15. He might be referring to the current story of Hwayoung being locked out of the waiting room before she threw her crutches. While I really don't trust a word he says, this instantly brought to mind the incident Super Junior revealed, where they played a practical joke on one of the members right before they went onstage, but he took it really badly and was visibly upset throughout the performance. I'm not saying it's anything like what is going on with T-ara. Just thinking out loud, lol.
  16. Sorry, this isn't exactly related to the topic, but Oniontaker reported on his Twitter that Hwayoung was seen by reporters entering CCM's building. From his tweets, I think Onion believes that her newest tweet was completely orchestrated by CCM. He also believes they will hold a "tearful press conference" and announce Hwayoung rejoining the group. If you want to know more please go to Oniontaker's twitter, as I don't know anything else, and I have nothing to say about this news other that "let's wait and see". EDIT: Someone else already reported this in the Hwayoung section of this forum it seems.
  17. Maybe they are shutting down because there is too much negativity on the site, and they don't want members fighting with each other, I don't know. This makes me even more thankful for Diadem promising to stick through this with all of us.
  18. True, but none of the dozens of stories we will see coming out can be proven as truth or lies. We just have to make judgement calls for ourselves. This doesn't give the story more credibility, it just shows KKS panicked and made up a lie to try and bury it out of fear it would be believed.
  19. Yeah, that sounds like the type of person IU would become best friends for life with. What a joke. This is getting out of hand, and KKS is completely clueless. He should just come to this forum and ask us what do next, lol.
  20. I was a little disappointed that Oniontaker retweeted the original article. Since Allkpop published it, it was obviously more likely than not to be completely untrue. Well, I guess it goes to show that many are making judgement calls based on what is the current hot issue for the sake of entertaining the masses, rather than using reliable sources.
  21. Yes, I agree with you. I was not defending her alleged tantrum, or saying it was justified. My point was that having to sit in front of the Budokan audience must have been humiliating, especially when she finally gets a major role in a song both visually and vocally, so I would understand if the injury triggered any uncharacteristic behavior.
  22. I noticed that those who have experience in the workplace as you do see this whole situation from a different perspective, so I thank you for posting your views. I think that the whole business aspect of this should not be ignored in the least, regardless of whether or not you agree with KKS (and of course, as you said, it's hard to agree with him on anything).
  23. If she was there at rehearsals, that does give weight to the argument that it was her decision to not go up there. Really, I felt terrible for Hyomin while watching that, and it would make perfect sense that she would be the first to tweet something about it, since struggling to read the lyrics like that was completely embarassing. It is true that Eunjung memorized her lyrics, but well, I think Eunjung was the lead rapper of the group for a reason.
  24. I'm glad you thought that about Hyomin too, it was my first thought even before I knew about this whole controversy. And I agree about Hwayoung, it seems out of character. But I could understand her reaching a breaking point because of frustration and humiliation over her injury, especially when she finally gets to be the star of their comeback single. But as you said, who knows, and we don't really know what any of them are truly like, obviously. It is unnerving to me that this statement closely fits all the theories I had before I read anyone else's opinion.
  25. I see exactly what you mean, and if your theory is true, I completely agree that Hwayoung had a right to be upset. And what might have caused her alleged tantrum is the key, because if it was the result of "bullying" before Music Bank, then we have no way of ever knowing unless a member says it, which doesn't seem likely to happen.
