Cool. Though this technically makes it their 'first' Japanese album (as Jewelry Box is more of an EP, with a lot of remakes). The approach is something I didn't expect. Thought it would be nice to do different versions of a song (TTL or Cry Cry) but with different sub groups singing for each version. But the idea is good - introduce sub groups as well as showcase individual skills. But it poses a risk too, as song selection is critical (match with whatever the singer can do). In any event, let's hope they would be successful -- go out and support the girls. PS: though from what it appears this will be mighty expensive. Better scrimp and save...

[13.01.25] Quick News/Rumour - Eunjung to appear in "My OOO" CF
Regius replied to nathaniel's topic in Latest Updates
Key word: "RUMOR". Don't preempt things. Let's wait and see how things are.If it's true, hope it gets good reception; if its not, nothing to be disappointed over. -
For people who got burned by social media, T-ara sure is brave/reckless. Might be a reflection of how gung-ho CCM made their comeback. Personally, glad that they did [comeback]; after the silence, its nice to see them again. However, the comeback highlighted some negative effects on T-ara resulting from their Twitter scandal (look at Boram). I always thought that they'd stay clear from all social media (or heavily screened by CCM, but likely the latter might be the biggest 'error'). Soyeon's recent debacle, whether intentional, a slip, or even fabrication (as recent evidence showed), social media is proving to be a bane to T-ara. Even with the most meticulous work, a momentary lapse can be disastrous, not to mention the hordes of ravenous antis or opportunists out there. As much as it is nice to see the girls give an update on themselves (a statement here, a selca there), best T-ara give it up (say a year or maybe until they cease being in the public eye). Or maybe, avoid making statements and just stick to selcas (oh wait, that doesn't sound right *recalls IU's scandal). If they can't stay away from social media, then just show their defiance and go out full force. Going piecemeal is career suicide, to say the least . As for T-ara supporters, take each news about the girls with a grain of salt, whether its bad news or good news (yes, especially good news). Things easily get out of hand by reacting irrationally. If there is something to be gleaned from last year, its to keep an open mind, though its tall order as rationality and Kpop don't mix (hope not). PS: CCM (seemed) to have learned its lesson from the last controversy, and put out a prompt (and sane?) announcement. Which still makes me think the whole snowballing of the Twitter scandal was planned by dear ol' KKS (sarcasm intended).

[12.12.28] T-ara named top 10 beloved K-Pop singer in 2012
Regius replied to a topic in Latest Updates
Well, that's pretty good, considered what just happened a few months (and that the girls are still receiving backlash from that time). Let's hope (and pray) 2013 will be a brand new start for T-ara! -
Nice. but there should not be a number. Girls don't age, they just grow in beauty!!!
-
Seriously? That's great news. But I do hope by then the whole controversy has been forgotten by then. It would be sad if a repeat of 5 Fingers occurs again. And that "being considered" translate into being casted and retained (not removed or written out). SBS? Hmm, it couldbe some form of compromise. Still, it could be some form of vindication or redemption. Eunjung did express that she wantsbto pursue BOTH singing AND acting. If Eunjung ends up back being an actress, hope that the ratings are good.
-
The Sexy Love a, b, and c sides? Hmm, so say I got 2 of the sides, registerered, and get selected. Since I'm not in Japan, or going there, its a waste then. And it won't be fair to those who wish to attend but could not due to the slots been taken (by an absentee). If it's possible, I'lll try to register the give it to someone who could, just a thought. Regardless, let's pray their showcases will be a success -- and to support them to for their continued success.

2013? Then it is assumed Dani will officially debut in next year, not this coming December? Either way, as T-ara member, I hope she does well.

If there is wrongdoing, justice must be served. It is as much as a battle in the streets, as it is in the courts. As it was said in Gladiator, "win the crowd", then Eunjung's side must prove that her removal was illegal and that she was the victim in this case. Reprisals? Maybe. Production companies would stop getting her or any T-ara member? A possibility. But if Eunjung won't take action, who would? And what happens if a similar case happen to another artist? I think Eunjung/T-ara may receive a backlash, but I applaud them nonetheless. Eunjung fighting! T-ARA fighting!!

So sad... PH was scratched off the list... I do hope it they'll decide to go. In any event, I hope they will push through with their Asian tour (and that it would be a HUGE SUCCESS!).
-
Philippines? Music to my ears. And I thought, they've scratched us off from SE Asia! Glad to be wrong!!! Regardless, I do hope their planned activities for next year push through without any hitches. T-ARA fighting!!!
-
With various Asian fanbase. That's great news! They'd rather be in places were people are more accepting/open-minded. For Asian Queen's, please ensure to support T-ara! And be sure to prevent from bashing the girls.

Negative comments, yeah. This just shows how unreasonable 'netizens' are. Move on! All of the girls released statements giving rest to the whole bullying/diva issues. Regardless of the girls actual feelings in the matter, it is irrelevant now. Its like a court case where the primary parties settled, but onlookers wanted to proceed, in short what is the point? The continued 'attacks' has proven that it is not the ostracizing per se (now it looks like it was flimsy excuse by those who instigated and fanned the issue disproportionately). They (whoever they are) simply wanted to bring down T-ara. It's just pathetic. As to the implications of having children perform on stage, frankly I had similar thoughts. But one question runs through my mind: "Is it worth for T-ara to 'use' children?" From a moral/professional/business standpoint, NO. It'll erode their image and it won't be something they could recover from than some random (and false) accusation. To all Queen's and T-ara sympathizers: keep those haters/negative comments away from your minds. They are just trying to destroy T-ara - they didn't succeed back during the height of the controversies, they won't succeed now. The best way to plunge "critics" into the pit of irrelevancy is to forget them -- just think of this way: it is the last howls of a dying beast. As for T-ara, I'm looking forward to their "debut" (comeback), not 'simply' because of seeing Sexy Love and robot dance live, but see firsthand how the girls has overcome this hurdle. T-ara fighting!

Focus people, focus. T-ara is making their comeback, and what people are thinking? Why the rest of T-ara not in the other song? Who cares, as long as T-ara stays, then it should be all good. Continue to support and we'll see them for a long, long time. Doubt is worse than hatred. T-ara fighting! We believe and we support and we anticipate your comeback.

MV teaser alone is amazing. Can't wait until the album is released (AND the full MV as well.) Looks like 2012 is indeed T-ARA's year after all: first half was Lovey Dovey, then Day By Day has gone consistently strong for several weeks (despite the now-forgotten controversy), and will sweep the rest of the year with Mirage (Sexy Love and probably another single to cap the year). And unlike their album Mirage, T-ARA IS REAL DEAL. Getting ahead of myself with all these excitement. And to Queen's (and everyone else), let us make it a reality: SUPPORT T-ARA ALL THE WAY. T-ara fighting!
-
Good to hear that T-ara remains humble (and sad looking back on why they even have to apologize). And true or not, I guess Qri would be the best person to have the letter since she wasn't involved in the issue. Just a random thought: IF Qri would be leader, she would be perfect for 2 reasons: 1) as said, she wasn't involved in the scandal; 2) the robot concept is well-suited to Qri's personality. But leader change or not, this is going to be ONE LONG WEEKEND (it feel much longer than a month ago, but this time full of happiness and anticipation for one of the biggest comebacks!).

[12.08.30] Video HD - T-ara's "Sexy Love" music video teaser
Regius replied to randall's topic in Latest Updates
I have no idea why I keep on smiling. Even if I meet haters on the street and start hurling curses, I'd be like DGAF. In fact, I won't be able to notice them. I can bet everyone has a smile more permanent than the Joker's right now. A pure and happy smile (cause we all know T-ARA IS BACK!!!). T-ARA [is] FIGHTING [in the best way possible]. -
All I can is that Qri has nice handwriting. Nuff said.
