  1. I'm glad that there will still be people supporting T-ara through thick and thin. Also, I think that's one of the biggest issues surrounding this statement. It's a statement that appeared out of the blue. There's always the possibility that it is in fact true, but not many people will believe it. And if there's a third party statement on the matter, again, not many people will believe it. They will just pass it off as CCM paying someone to help them with damage control. The only possible way for it to be acknowledged as 100% true is if there was some sort of footage. Even if Hwayoung were to admit to doing it, some will still remain skeptical as it could be the result of CCM harassing her to do so. Solid fanbase? I'm sorry but if there's something we can take from this whole incident, it's that a lot of the fans are more than willing to jump off the T-ara bandwagon as soon as a scandal like this presents itself. I find it oddly suspicious that Hyomin would make a mistake of that kind. She's a professional, if she had even a few hours to practice ahead of time then I'm fairly certain she wouldn't have forgotten the lyrics. I can guarantee I'm not the only one thinking that something was off, especially considering that they had cue cards prepared for the performance. Right now, I find it hard to take anything that Hwayoung, T-ara, or CCM says with more than a grain of salt. There's just too many different possibilities for us to think of when it's a truth that only T-ara themselves know. A few examples of things I think might be possible: 1) The members of T-ara were bullying after all - for God knows why - and Hwayoung is in fact the victim here. It's possible that Hwayoung was just expressing her frustration of being bullied. 2) CCM has falsified a statement just to make Hwayoung look like the villain, and to protect their/T-ara's image. 3) Hwayoung got tired of CCM's piss poor management and started acting out like this as to instigate a termination of their contract. Thus leaving the other members of T-ara innocent. 4) Hwayoung couldn't handle the pressure of the fame that came with the Day by Day album. Again, this is just speculation. There's still little clarity in this big, unorganized mess. In any case, I'm confident T-ara will endure and eventually overcome this scandal. Everything will eventually die down. I still feel it's unfortunate that they let Hwayoung go. But if we put things into perspective, no matter who was at fault here, it would still have been the more profitable option to remove Hwayoung over Eunjung, Jiyeon, or Hyomin - even if it wasn't the best option overall in the long term. I would also like to add that KKS said earlier this year that if any of the members cause any issues, they would be removed. Right now Hwayoung is at the absolute core of things, regardless of who started what. To finish things off, I would like to add that I am not picking sides in this situation. And no matter what, I will continue to fully support T-ara. I just hope that the majority of T-ara's fans will join me with that. I will also support any of Hwayoung's future endeavors and hope that she can find success.
  2. Wasn't it announced that KKS would simply make a "big announcement" rather than saying that he would "make an announcement on the situation" specifically? Either way, I can't wait for said announcement. Hopefully afterwards the shout box and the fanclub as a whole can revert back to any level of reasonability.
  3. Sexy Love is going to be a big hit, I can feel it. The song has the same feel as Roly Poly, Lovey Dovey, and BPBP. At least it does to me. Queens of first half of 2012, and now with Sexy Love they will be the Queens of the rest of 2012. I was dying in anticipation for Day by Day, and now they're doing this to me again with Sexy Love. And soon T-ara Effect. As much as I love all these releases, I'm worried about T-ara. They really need a rest. It could be worse though, I mean Big Bang promoted six songs, and knowing KKS it's possible he would want to try it. At least with T-ara they only have to do one at a time. So I guess that's a plus.
  4. During the high note there's no vibrato until the end of the high note for the live performance. In the studio you can hear the vibrato a lot more. It's most likely a back up voice. The same way Yoonjo backs up Lime for the high note in Venus.
  5. I doubt she lipsynced the high note. If anything, there was a stronger voice backing her up. Someone made a good point earlier in this thread saying that if Ahreum was to say no to CCM, then she would pretty much be saying goodbye to her dream of becoming an idol. I still think people are being unfair and harsh towards Ahreum. Both Ahreum and Dani are going to be under a large amount of pressure for the next few months, maybe a year. It doesn't help that some people are being critical about it. Especially since they're young girls, I doubt they will take it very well at all. There's nothing that can be done to change the fact that Ahreum and Dani are now in T-ara. Criticizing them about being able to "enjoy the fame" or "join T-ara so easily" is most likely going to hinder them, which in turn will hurt T-ara. Besides, I really doubt Ahreum is "enjoying the fame" anyways with what people are saying about her. I understand not being able to accept them, but I think it should stop there. There's no point in being negative. And judging by Ahreum's comments I'm going to go ahead and say she felt split about joining T-ara. She might be happy about becoming an idol (because who wouldn't be happy about fulfilling their dreams?), but again she might feel bad, and maybe even like a burden to T-ara. Also, in terms of her lines it's not T-ara that decides who sings what. Since this is Ahreum's debut she's getting a lot of lines to show off her vocals. I don't think Qri and Boram would get more lines than they already did if Ahreum wasn't in T-ara.
  6. Boram looks so pretty. It's like she's just getting prettier and prettier as of late. Soyeon looks really good too.
  7. Even if Soyeon was forced to say this, there's still a chance that she was being sincere about it. I personally think there's pros and cons to not living together. The biggest pro is that they get to stay with their families, which is a very important thing. I mean look at Jiyeon. When her father lined up to see her at a fan signing she broke out in tears because of how distant they have to be. I think it will be a good thing for Ahreum and Dani. They're both young and they're going to need their families' support, especially with how critical the fans can be. However, on the flip side, T-ara won't be able to bond like they would in a dorm. I think this will be detrimental to Ahreum and Dani. Since they're new members they will need a lot of time to bond with T-ara. There's a chance that some of the members are against the new additions. T-ara won't be able to bond in a dorm to break down the wall that has potential to affect them negatively. As for Dani being too young, DSP Media is debuting a girl group called PURETTY. Three of the girls are 16, and one is 14. The average age for girls seems to be getting lower. While they are young, I think they should stay as trainees and debut when they are older. But in the end, Dani still had the decision to debut at a young age, so I'm sure she knows what she wants. Even if she might not know what she's getting into. And T-ara does rotate leaders for each album release. Hyomin, Eunjung, Boram, and Soyeon have already been leaders. Considering Soyeon is still the leader after the Day by Day release, I'm thinking they will switch once Mirage comes out with the repackaged album. Either that or once T-ara's Effect (or is it T-ara Effects?) is released. I'm sure there's a pretty big chance Jiyeon will become the next leader. Hwayoung and Qri aren't very popular in comparison, and Dani and Ahreum are new to T-ara so I doubt they will become leaders before Hwayoung or Qri.
  8. I just hope what Boram says about the new members is sincere, and the same goes for Soyeon. It would really be sad if it wasn't. And for Roly Poly, when I heard it when it first came out I thought "This song is going to be big." It was partly because I was being biased, but also because of how catchy the song was. "But luckily I met a good agency..." I assume she means CCM? If that's the case, then it has to be joke of the year.
  9. It looks to me like Ahreum is more tense than Hyomin and Eunjung. She also reminds me of Min Kyung. =P Really like the last picture. Eunjung and Hyomin are so close, they're a cute couple. x]
  10. Personally I thought their other songs like Lovey Dovey had better choreography. But in all honesty, in my opinion Lovey Dovey's choreography really raised the bar because it was so good. I still like the dance for Day by Day though, and since it's a slower song I can imagine it would be harder to have fitting choreography to go with it, whereas Lovey Dovey was a more upbeat song. T-ara will make anything look good though.
  11. The first picture is Ahreum. Really like the concept of Day by Day. I'm not surprised it achieved an all-kill. T-ara is probably the prettiest girl group in KPop for me. They all look great, and I'm especially liking Ahreum's picture.
  12. Areum so far proved she is a good singer. I think she fits in with T-ara very well. Dani also looked good in the Day by Day MV. Hopefully she will prove to be talented as well. At first I was surprised at the member changes seeing as how good T-ara was, but I've grown to love Areum and Dani. T-ara FIGHTING!
