  1. CDJapan has the cool extras, while Yesasia doesn't usually have the bonuses without extra charge :(.

I always get my stuff from Yesasia though, because their Korean stuff count on both Hanteo and Gaon charts on Yesasia. I'm not sure on whether CDJapan counts on Korean charts, but it probably does at least for Hanteo. On the other hand, T-ara's Japanese stuff counts on Oricon for both Yesasia and CDJapan, so if you're into posters go for CDJapan :).

  2. @Denty012 - In regards to Countryside Diary, you ain't the only one mate lol. Performing a song like that is undoubtedly going to be difficult (if not impossible) to pull off well in live stages. On the other hand, *gasp* you live in Irvine?! Always wanted to visit that place, especially since it's where Blizzard Entertainment is located at :3

Haha, I didn't even know Blizzard was located here :P. Irvine itself doesn't have much to offer, but it resides in the charming Orange County, with LA county a short drive away. If you ever do visit, there's plenty of niches to explore :).

In regards to Countryside Diary though.. Live or studio, I cringe every time. Every time!

  3. 2. n4 song is awesome and im sure many will agree not just fans but their song/album is not doing well and i personally think its due to the fact that haters/ppl still cant get over the scandal..in the pass t-ara albums/songs all have decent rankings and wins but no more after the scandal....

Alright I'm gonna be honest with you here...

I'm a diehard T-ara fan and have, at the least, tolerated every release they've had so far, whether I liked the song or not. But as for Country Side Diary, I can't stand the song :(. It's just not to my liking. I've watched all of T-ara N4's performances so far, but I have to shamefully admit that I watch them muted .

But it's k, I bought the album anyways. But in all honesty, I only bought it because I want every album, and even then I was hesitant on buying this one until it was announced to be special edition. I can see why it hasn't sold so well.

  4. The fact that he's not announcing anything sooner means he's taking into account the severity of the situation and trying to figure exactly what course of action he can take that won't irreparably damage T-ara.

It's probably a really weak reason, but what if -bare with me on this: what if if the guy doesn't like working on weekends and simply wanted to push the press conference or whatever it is he plans on doing until Monday? He's a troll, it's a plausible idea. The whole thing did blow up on a Saturday, right?

  5. 19k is good? I don't know much about J-Pop sales numbers but it seems like a flop to me debuting at No. 9, T-ara's worst yet. And they did so much promo for this. More than for any one of their other j-singles.

19k is good only considering Jewelry Box comes out next week. I'm sure not everyone wants to spend so much on a single when an entire album that also has that single will be out a couple weeks later. I don't know how much it costs in Japan, but the 18/26 USD Lovey Dovey costs on yesasia and the 36/45/92 USD price tag on the same site is killer!

Were I not a fanboy, I would've laughed at anyone getting both. But as for me.. that's 120 dollars on my babies <3.

  6. Correction, Seohyun debuted at the age of 16

If KKS's claims that the new members are 'talented' is correct, this can be seen as a jab towards the current older members to leave on their own will - kicking them out for whatever reason will bring even more negative publicity regardless of the reason. Plus, we don't even know how the current members would react to this behind-the-scenes - considering they worked tooth-and-nail for 3 years to get to where they are now, it's doubtful they'd be easy on some newbie who's practically going to ride their popularity.

Why fix something that's not broken? The only person who needs to be fixed is KKS himself along with whoever in CCM's management agrees with him.

16 and about five weeks, hence "about" 15 :P. My bad for the crude rounding to support my point.

But yeah, there's the possibility that the current members won't take it well. But if the T-ara I love and think I know are anywhere near their genuine selves, I'm going to count on them getting through this well.

And I probably stand alone in this, but I always did think T-ara lacked the strong voice that singers like Mariah Carey, Beyonce, Celine Dione, and etc. I love Soyeon's and Eunjung's voices, but I can't help but wish for something between Eunjung's power notes and Soyeon's crisp, clear high octave. They're terrific, but imho Soyeon could use a bit more power and Eunjung a bit more control. I'm sure hoping Dani or the 8th member brings that to the group! (Or maybe I'm expecting too much out of kpop LOL)

  7. I'm sure they'll be fine. Besides, Jiyeon debuted with T-ara after just turning 16 but began gathering publicity at age 15. There's about six months between now and December, maybe Dani's 14 years western at the moment and will be 15 by then? Wonder Girls' Sohee and SNSD's Seohyun debuted at about 15 too, and let's not forget 2ne1's Minzy was a few months into 15hood when she debuted. They all rank high in popularity amongst their groups too.

Dani's a pretty one, and a suitable choice as a new maknae. Our girls have always stuck through things as a family until now, and despite their early awkwardness towards Hwayoung, they are totally happy now. There's no reason not to believe our girls will accept the new members and happily stick together once again. Let's give Dani a chance and not look down on her until she shows us what she's got :).
