[09.07.15] More Supporters Means More Popularity for New Stars

As the number of supporters for the rookie top stars grow, so does their popularity.

While singing and dancing can bring a star into great heights in terms of popularity, participation in dramas also have a way of increasing one's popularity. Participating in dramas add up to the earning that a star might get versus only recording songs and performing.

However, nowadays, it's been reversed. Top singers then to be in better state versus the ones in the acting business. Although the skills come easy with the new stars, it just so happens that singers get a crazier number of supporters compared to others in the business.

A perfect example, is T-ara's Jiyeon.

Jiyeon has been nicknamed the '2nd Kim Taehee' by the public because of her immense similarity in looks to the actress, and the public has been quite interested in her.

Since Nam Gyuri had left SeeYa, Jiyeon had taken her spot in the collaboration project single along with SeeYa and Davichi.

Jiyeon is a member of the upcoming girl group T-ara. T-ara has not debuted yet but their proposals in terms of endorsements and sponsorships have been soaring already.

It was good that Jiyeon was introduced to the music business through the SeeYa and Davichi collaboration.

Beggining August of this year, Jiyeon will be participating as the lead role in MBC's drama 'Soul', thanks to her musical popularity.

Hmm. I'm glad Jiyeon is attracting more attention to T-ara but sometimes it worries me. Two members, or should I say ex-members, left T-ara. I hope that all the attention that Jiyeon is getting doesn't make the other members feel left out.

T-ara is definitely rising in popularity, whoo~

It's nice to see that JiYeon gets so much attention since her introduction to the public because It also mean more publicity for T-ara.

But I don't really like the fact that everything is only focus on her. I know that T-ara hasn't really debuted yet but I think they shouldn't give to JiYeon all the spotlight while the other members are left.

In fact, I was very upset to see JiYeon taking part in the music collaboration with SeeYa and Davichi :

Like JiYeon a lot but I just think that Ji Ae or EunJung (who have the best vocals in the group) suited more. I hope, after their debut, the other members will also get more promotion.
