Jiyeon surprised fans and TV viewers alike when she made a cameo on MBC’s Triangle.

Triangle tells the story of three brothers, played by Jaejoong (JYJ), Lee Bumsoo and Im Siwan (ZE:A), as they reunite 20 years after being separated but unaware of their blood-ties to each other. Jiyeon comes into the drama during episode 15, seemingly connected to Yoon Yangh’s (Im Siwan) through their father’s business relationship and as a possible new love interest. Yangha, however, does not seem all too please by Jiyeon’s mysterious character’s appearance.

Jiyeon: “Seems like you don’t feel that happy.”
Yang Ha: “Yes.”
Jiyeon: “Why?”
Yang Ha: “Because I dont even know the why I’m meeting you now.”
Jiyeon: “Because I am the one who made the decision so don’t worry about it.”

This marks Jiyeon’s first return to the silver screen after a two year break since when she played a lead role in the KBS drama Dream High 2. Let’s look forward to more of Jiyeon’s role in Triangle in the upcoming episodes!
