China’s trending topic, T-ara.
T-ara has been confirmed to be appearing on China Hunan Satellite TV’s special program for the Lunar New Year, Lantern Festival. A popular show that is broadcasted during the Lunar New Year celebrations in China.
One of the representatives said, “the director of the program personally requested for T-ara to be invited. They are a Korean girl group but it feels like they are slowly becoming a local Chinese girl group and reaching the prestige that can be matched with other Chinese celebrities.”
T-ara officially started their Chinese activities in October of 2014. During a press conference on that day, it was announced that T-ara will be actively promoting in China. There were more than 100 different representatives from various media outlets, including fans and members of the public present, indicating the huge amount of attention they were receiving from the Chinese market. Following that, T-ara received previous interviews and other schedules from China MTV and appeared on many other famous Chinese TV programs.
Just last year, they received a contract from Banana Project, an entertainment company set up by Wang Sicong, son of one of the wealthiest men in China. Furthermore, they held a concert at Guangzhou’s Tianhe Stadium and burst into fame in the Chinese market. They are already currently known as China’s top girl group.

Basically, they feel like T-ARA didn't give them enough attention during the event, and they got mad thinking T-ARA left without saying goodbye so they left in a huff but T-ARA was still at the facility because the MBC staff kept them late. We often see their photos and reuploads of instagram updates, but to begin with, the dots have a reputation for being a bit, shall we say, entitled.

It's important to note that Eunchannet and Jingdot are still active and celebrating a 5th anniversary.
 
As far as I'm concerned, if the other dots are going to act like this, they can hit the road.

Also cameras were banned from the event. Teen Top's fandom got booted for this. 
So if there's no cameras allowed, how is T-ARA expected to pose for fan photos? They'd be breaking the rules themselves if they encouraged fan photos at an event where cameras were banned.

Well, if you put it that way, then yes it's definitely understandable.  
 
It also looks like one of the dots have come out to clarify that her recent closure was actually something she had planned for a long time
 
And don't remind me of Jinnabit...  *gasp*  I hope we never get another fan like her.

My impression is that they didn't want to do it anymore which is understandable because it's hard work that you don't get paid for and takes all of your free time. 
 
The dots seemed kinda grumbly at times too. The problem with running a fansite like that is that over time, they start expecting things and if they feel like they're not getting what they feel they deserve, they get mad. 
 
I personally would hope the dots and T-ARA can explain what happened and work things out but if they can't then I'd hope they can part ways without being too bitter. The last thing I'd want is for them to go anti and start attacking them.

It really boggles my mind how these fans are handling this issue.  What good will it do to T-ara if they were to act like this towards them? Nothing good will come out of this.  They are merely going to worsen their relationship regardless of the outcome.  The girls have already received a lot of negativity from the general public these past few years... If anything, they should be more understanding at times like these.
 
It really feels like they are just trying to take advantage of T-ara's current status in Korea, so as to attempt to expand their influence in the fandom.  But in reality, their actions are simply coming off as really petty.  Their level of self-importance is going off the charts.

T-ARA continues to display superior determination and personal character by creating albums full of great music (not just one track and 4 filler tracks but entire albums of good songs), giving back to the community by performing numerous charity events over the years, paving the way for the Hallyu in new international markets, and never once throwing anyone under the bus for any of the adversity they've faced. They have the respect of their peers in the industry and leave good impressions everywhere they go. Regardless of what Koreans think, T-ARA is the true gem of the Hallyu and anyone who knows T-ARA and doesn't think so, well they might be hopeless.

I enjoyed seeing Jiyeon, Hyomin and Eunjung (separate episodes) on Running Man. I'd love to see the whole group appear!
Eunjung doesn't run very well though.
 
It would even be great if Hyomin were on Roommate Season 2 with Sunny but T-ARA is a little busy at the moment so that can't happen. 
 
It was great to see T-ARA on Let's Go Dream Team 2 last year. That was a fun episode with the pool games and the surreal art exhibit. 

Plus there was Jiyeon's tae kwon do display.

I like Areum. I hope she does well in her solo career.
Clearly Core Content Media felt that T-ARA works best with their original six and the success of this comeback is a testament to that.
No changes need to be made. T-ARA's original members are what made/make them great.

On the 27th, following their first Korea concert on the 25th, T-ara held another successful event in Shanghai!

T-ara performed t a full house their hits songs such as Bo Peep Bo Peep, TTL, Number 9 and others along with tracks not so often performed but just as popular, ORGR and I'm Hurt plus a surprised performance of Hyomin's solo composition, Overcome!

To further add to the special day, among the audience sat Wang Sicong, the 26 year old son of Wang Jianlin, currently the wealthiest man in China and 26th in the whole world!
 



Wang Jianlin is the Chairman of  Dalian Wanda Group, one of China's largest real estate developers and AMC Entertainment, the world's largest operator of movie theaters. His son, Wang Sicong, posseses 2% ownership of his father's wealth. He will inherit his fortune after his father steps down. In the meanwhile, Wang Sicong is CEO of Invictus Gaming and enjoy social media fame with a massive 8.4 million followers on Weibo.

At the end of the concert, Wang Sicong met with T-ara behind the scenes and snapped a photo with them which he shared on his Instagram.
 




What a pleasure to know T-ara possess fans even among such notable figures. Let's continue to support our girls and their future ventures!

[14.12.24] T-ara to shift focus on Chinese regions
 
T-ara will hold their first concert in Shanghai on 27th December and embark on their first China concert tour in the first half of next year.

Previously T-ara was working individually to be an all-round entertainer in acting, varitey show, solo etc. However in 2015, T-ara will put aside all individual activities and focus on group. First and foremost, they will begin activities in China and follow by Malaysia, Singapore etc. Hence Korean fans are anxious as the date for the comeback in Korea has not been finalised.

With China becoming the new Hallyu fanbase, T-ara will reinforce their K-Pop Queen identity with the vast support from their China fans.

T-ara had recently released a song, "Little Apple", which was co-produced by China's largest video site Youku and WEB TV ASIA, as such, T-ara has officially ventured into the Chinese market. T-ara had also starred in Hunan TV variety show (Day Day Up) where they demostrated their impressive variety show skills.

In addition, T-ara will be attending the MBC Gayo Daejun on the 31st December.
