For our second edition of Throwback Thursday, I had some trouble deciding just which live performance to use of T-ara’s “Sexy Love”. There were a few that I struggled to pick from, most notably would be the performance when Areum left and Boram ended up with the rap part, but I passed on that one due to not liking the outfits. I just went through so many performances and then decided upon the one I’ll be showcasing here.

I apologize for the quality, it’s the one thing I dislike when it comes to live performances.

The opening itself is fantastic! I mean come on, that hat throwback (Ah, see what I did there?) is just excellent! More or less, Areum gets to have a solo intro in the remix.

How do you top off such an awesome intro? Easy! By doing the walk in a line to give off the aura that you’re just super awesome.

Not only that, but I had to pick this performance out of the numerous others because of the following reasons:

1. Areum gets to showcase herself in the intro.

2. These are perhaps the BEST outfits by far, despite their simplicity.  I’m just a huge sucker for these formal attire stuff (so it was hard picking between the white or black outfits as I love them both).

3. All members look great in this performance, and I’m saying that because in other performances, their outfits differ quite a lot and just lack the formality that these suit attire shows.

Overall, this was the song that made me really notice Areum, sure there was Day by Day, but her vocals didn’t strike me as much as it did during this song.
