On the June 3rd episode of MTV’s music program THE SHOW, Jiyeon recorded her first episode as the new MC! She was joined by previously announced MC, Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, and together, the two revealed the third MC to be the male supermodel Park Jungwook.

From the beginning, Jiyeon appeared so enthusiastic and genuinely happy to be there as the new MC! She did a great job; she didn’t make any mistakes and delivered all her lines perfectly! Maybe that can be credited to the fact Jiyeon had a year of experience as a music show MC for MBC’s Music Core from October 2010 to October 2011.

For a special, she filmed an interview segment with the boy group VIXX about their comeback as well as a live interview with U-KISS about their comeback. U-KISS member Kevin even presented Jiyeon with a rose to congratulate her for her MCing debut!

In addition to MCing, Jiyeon also performed “1MIN 1SEC” on the show.
