[13.07.14] T-ara's Soyeon passes the leadership title to Qri! Girl group T-ara has replaced leader Soyeon with Qri. This is the norm for T-ara and Qri will be the group's fifth leader. T-ara's agency revealed that coming with T-ara's next album release and the departure of Areum, Qri will replace Soyeon as the leader. Following Eunjung, Boram, Hyomin and Soyeon, Qri will be the fifth leader of the group. T-ara's agency said to OSEN on the 14th, "Replacing the leader when activities changed in the group is part of the group. Qri will be the new leader for the upcoming activities." The announcement comes after Soyeon held the leader title from January 2012, approximately one and a half years later. On the 13th, Qri held the stage at the Budokan arena in Tokyo, Japan for the first time. Qri said on the day of the show, "I really enjoyed today as my first day as leader and want fans to look forward to a brighter T-ara." They don't know, nor is it in any way their fault that the CD only contains 2 or 3 songs that you want to hear. Rather then complaining about such things, at the end of the day you are 1 person that can feel good about yourself knowing that instead of downloading, you bought the album and directly supported the girls with your purchase. Also keep in mind that without a doubt there are people who don't buy mini albums, and instead wait for albums such as these to get all/most songs. So even if in your case the album only has a few songs/new songs, for others it might be a album full of new songs.

Areum was my favorite member of T-ara. Nevertheless, I am very glad that T-ara is back to its original lineup. Hopefully, CCM has learned their lesson that adding and removing members does not lead to good results. I will support Dani when she joins T-ara N4, but in my opinion, it would be best if CCM just promoted T-ara's original six members better.
