  10. [13.11.28] T-ara's Boram releases TTL/Snow White style teaser image Ahead of their comeback, T-ara has released the teaser image for Boram. The 4th member teaser released to the public was Boram. In her teaser images she sports a new hairstyle - a short bob that gives her more edge. In her images, she first appears in a TTL style and then has a contrasting image of a girl eating a poisonous apple in a fairy-tale Snow White style. Jiyeon's teaser image was dark and sorrowful, while Eunjung's was futuristic and provocative and Hyomin had a mysterious, sexy bunny charm. Now with Boram's image, it shows all four so far are different from each other and expectations are rised for the remaining two members. T-ara will premiere their music video on December 2nd at the COEX Megabox movie theater. *** Source: http://news.nate.com/view/20131128n11141 Translated by: Nathaniel @ Diadem

On the 22nd, T-ara's agency revealed the teaser image for Jiyeon. The teaser shows Jiyeon in one moment with tears in her eyes and smeared lipstick, but in the second image, Jiyeon's presentation has a different feel. 13. Whoa!! This is totally unexpected. Being a regular viewer of the MCountdown show, I can honestly and objectively say this is one of the best live performance on the show. I can't believe that they actually recreated the whole street scene on stage. The whole set up plus the backup dancers make for a really lively and fun performance. A real visual feast. Good job T-ara! An absolutely brilliant performance! Let's hope this amazing performance will equally be matched with a top placing the charts for the T-ara.

  14. Their color coordination is almost like Super Sentai series. This is T-ara Sentai... Should it be Retroranger or Dorkyranger?

  15. That was AMAZING.. just wow.. and they really set it up like a musical. Love the small details & props, Soyeon's mirror, Eunjeung's handphone and Hyomin's.. er was that a trash can? Also I bet a lot of people were confused with the 1977 intro MV but it was the perfect opening imho Intro Credit: KmnetLive2

  18. This was from AKP's translation of Sports Seoul: "We plan to manage it through Core Contents Media's CCM Japan. Although the fan club will not be automatically switched over, we plan to start one again... T-ara's Japanese activities will definitely not come to a close. Once they complete their activities in China, they will start again in Japan next year." I don't have any Korean language skills so I can't say which is more correct. But if its correct, the Sports Seoul is really not that gloom & doom of a news: So CCM won't use J-rock anymore, T-ara will be more focused on China for next year and there will be a new Japan comeback in 2014. Anyway CCM also have Choshinsung/Chōshinsei/Supernova which have quite a following in Japan so it might not be a bad idea to have their own agency branch handling things there. They also don't need to look around if they want to market SPEED & their other acts there. Personally I don't think J-rock did a very well job of handling T-ara in Japan so I'm kind of happy they are gone. Did they even do any real promotion at all for Number 9 JPN or even Target ~anyone seen a live performance of those? When was the last time T-ara got into a major Japanese music show or even be on TV besides small time cable and morning news clips? <For a group that has done Budokan and always get top ten in Oricon except one time (more on that later) it is unforgivable that T-ara never performed in Music Station...> Why do T-ara always launch songs when the top local girl bands are also launching theirs? Who launches a CD single (lovey dovey Jpn) just two weeks before the launch of an album (Jewelry Box --> Lovey Dovey is in it)? Why come out with a pirate concept but don't promote with it? etc. etc. Of course you might say that the bone head moves were made by CCM (read KKS) but J-rock was the local expert of the market and should've known better. Some might also say that T-ara not showing that much on Japanese TV is because the scandal & that T-ara is not that popular any more... are you kidding me? T-ara gets top ten in Oricon for every single title song they have (even with lackluster promotions) except Number 9.. but even that song managed to get #13 without any promotion & with the Korean comeback ending just days before & still fresh on J-Queens minds (The Japanese do get youtube and can buy Korean albums in Japan also you know CCM). And you can even count with your fingers the number of Japanese girl bands that get to play in the hallowed Budokan Hall.. T-ara did two-day concerts there twice, this year alone (that's four times in my book) not to mention having a multi-city concert tour.
