I think it'd be useful to have a Recent Status Updates sidebar/widget feed off to the side of the site so people could see what the other members are up to~
It might integrate the community a bit more and more people would use the feature?
I've seen it on another forum running IPB so I don't think it would be hard to add.

. Sadly, the videos can't be accessed outside of Japan, but you can still subscribe to the channel.
