Oh the irony.."bullying" is a common tactic in the Large Media Industry, isn't it my fellow Queens? How can a professional do something this rude to ANYONE. Shows how many people don't care about others. Whether he believes he is in the wrong or right with his actions, this is not justifiable and intolerable behavior. I will not watch anything this PD will be apart of. I have lost respect for him and "Five Fingers". Unbelievable.

"To drama producers, issues of production sponsorship, PPL etc are no doubt important, but to tamper with the drama's plan for these issues is not the way. A production that succeeds relying on despicable things, is very muddled. Although the production sponsorship for The Thousandth Man is zero ㅠ I will not give up. Money is something that you will have when you work harder."

Don't get why the netizens are being so worked up, it's pretty much none of their businesses, all that is happening. Poor Jiyeon. She does seem more aloof on the surface, but people are judging her now just cause of that, posting malicious insults of her, calling her the mastermind behind the bullying. But nobody can even ascertain there was any bullying involved, yet they so willingly believed the rumors. These include the people that go all ''i used to be a fan, but now i think they blah blah blah'' - the worst kind. Why can't netizens go find something better to do rather than make lives difficult for the girls who had done nothing to harm them.

yengyeng reacted to Emperor Ryu in [DISC] Facts or Speculation regarding T-ara's Crisis
After taking much time reading and reading online media articles ranging from the tweets to entertainment psychologists, including the law enforcement statements on the matter, I can only summarize this, at this time right now (At exactly Monday, July 30, 2012, 10:30 p.m.), as, . . . tragic, disastrous, calamitous, catastrophic, cataclysmic, devastating, terrible, dreadful, awful, appalling, dismal, horrendous, and of course, a massive public relations fail. How I came to this in the history of our dearly beloved T-ara, when they are just about to become a 9 member group, I'll go with it step by step, . . .
    And here, . we, . . go, . . .
    July 25, 2012, . . . The concert in Japan, . . .
I heard lots of good things about the performance, and no mentioning from any online media source about anything indicating, let alone signifying, that our girls are going through another rough patch in their careers, none, in fact, just the opposite. Hwayoung was giving her best, even though she was injured. A online media source present at the press conference, noted that all the members were unconditionally supportive and caring for Hwayoung, who publicly apologized to "everybody" for her current performing condition. Now this is one of many things I like about T-ara, especially when Eunjung recently commented in a recent interview about how ultra protective the "entire group" is with "each other", and even to say that they won't hesitate to come to a member's defense. However, yes, two online sources I came across pointed out that Hwayoung was quiet and very workable, but not energetic nor engaging in much conversations with anybody, including with the other members. The other source claimed that there were some discontent between the members, because of Hwayoung's injury, and the mass confusion on whether or not, she did or did not decide to go on stage to perform her part for their "Day By Day" song, and acted in protest over her treatment "after the concert". A similar account was mentioned for the Inkigayo performance as well.
The first source I could understand, because being injured and thinking about what to do next, is very difficult. Athletes who get injured, endure these stand alone times that develop into skeptical complexities, which could spin out of control, but only if there's no adequate support to maintain that thing called sanity. Of course they can't sit still, they need to move their bodies. I assumed Hwayoung was trying hard "not to be a burden to everyone" before and during this concert, after all, during the press conference, it was confirmed, from her directly, that she was going to perform for that one song alone, for the event. I'll get back to the second source for last. Next, . . .
    The Members' Tweets, . . .
Now, reading the messages from Hyomin, Jiyeon, and Eunjung, I found the messages as plain encouragement and rising awareness of their level of loyalty to us the fans in their performances by working together and maintaining a supportive structure as a group, for that event. Yeah, the word "determination". A word that is summed up like this, . . .
    Determination
    noun
    1. Firmness of purpose, resoluteness.
    2. The process of establishing something exactly, typically by calculation or research. Law - the settlement of a dispute by the authoritative decision of a judge or arbitrator. A judicial decision or sentence.
    3. The controlling or deciding of something's nature or outcome.
    4. Law - The cessation of an estate or interest.
    5. Archaic - A tendency to move in a fixed direction.
Apparently, the entertainment industry has a more unique "translation" to the word, meaning the usage of the word "implies the opposite", that there's a sense of lacking. Obviously, Hwayoung was injured, hello?! Did they not see the bandage on her left foot? And yet, she had the "courage" and "temerity" to come on stage, after she said she would, and did, and performed as best as she could. For who? "All of us". Acknowledging the level of commitment and "determination" (actual definition here), means the members were taking the time to evaluate their current situation, and probably trying to figure out how to work on their schedules. Because Hwayoung needed time to recover. Sure, they could perform while she takes the time to rest. But, the way I can imagine this as Hwayoung "wanting" to be there for the other members. Then I asked this, . . .
"What if the members wanted her to rest and recover sooner, rather than later, which could upset their tight schedules even further?"
"What if Hyomin and Eunjung learning Hwayoung's part indicated that they were very concerned about her recovery, but Hwayoung figured out a way that she doesn't have push herself too much, and still keep her promise to us, the fans (Kings and Queens), to perform, as she stated at the press conference?"
"What if Hwayoung went out of her way, because of her passion to the group?"
Now, to the ignition of this international explosive news, . . .
    Hwayoung's and Hyoyoung's Tweet, . . .
Now, I read and took Hyoyoung's message as sympathy for her twin sister's injury, and needed to cry by texting, and I'm sure she teared and cried for real, when Hwayoung was injured earlier, during Music Core. I remembered Hyomin recently fell as well, not too long ago. Hwayoung's message, the way I took it, was an acknowledgment, and raising the awareness of their current situation, while trying to figure out what to do next, with this injury being her obstacle for their coming work ahead, which included their pending comeback. But, it was interpreted in another way, as a "retaliatory" means against the other members. BOOM!
    A hack or an attack, . . . Boram's Twitter account, . . .
We're not exactly sure as to why this happened. But for sure, this was the secondary explosion that set things "truly" into motion. I cannot imagine Boram pulling herself away from Hwayoung, whatsoever. When there's a concern within the group, they usually talk it out and figure a way to resolve it, not act like they were back in elementary school. From the accumulative twitter account hacking reports all over the place, I assumed that is what happened to our Boram's account. However, nobody did not bother to follow up this and post online the proof whether or not this is true.
    That old saying, . . . The Show Must Go On, . . . Music Bank and Inkigayo, . . .
Now it gets sort of vague on the inside at this point. Some are claiming Hwayoung's attitude is out of place, and some are saying the other members were being very harsh (bullying) on her. We won't know for sure. All I could ever ask is, . . .
"Is Hwayoung feeling the need to perform?"
"Are the members trying to convince her to rest and recover, and not exert herself, which could hinder her rejuvination time?"
"Did they misunderstood each other's intentions, again?"
"What are the staff doing really, for this event?"
It is very difficult to answer these questions, unless an actual staff member, and/or our girls gives us the answers. Moving on, . . .
Speculations + Facts = Conspiracy Theory, or an, Educated Guess, . . . The Data Flood continues, . . .
It seems endless in the amount of flaws, mistakes, jokes, behavior accounts and analytical psychological profiling throughout our girls' careers, and gigabytes of videos and pictures are piled high on computer memory everywhere, and continues to grow, causing a cascading affect, not only to their hard work and established image as a group in a growing genre world wide, but their personal and family lives altogether. If I were to come up with a phrase in T-ara's history right now, . . . just two words come to mind, . . .
    Civil War!
I haven't seen this type of polarization between artists, since that ordeal with JYJ started battling it out through the media. The difference, the audience have a more participating role more than ever. Camps are establishing on so many sides, lots of people are just calling for disbandment, and ending the legacy that is "T-ara". Insanity has reached it's peak, . . . or wait, . . . it hasn't, cause no one has been murdered, I mean died yet, . . .
Core Contents Media Public Announcement, . . .
Kim Kwang Soo will terminate Hwayoung's employment to the label company. (___Insert true reactions here___.) Mine? A simple soft, "no.", was uttered from my traumatized heart and mind and soul. Please take note that 19 staff members is the reason for Hwayoung's termination. I'm starting to wonder if those earlier wardrobe malfunctions were intentional, or truly accidents, at this point of the breaking ongoing news.
    Focus, . . . stay focused, . . . Smack!, . . . I said stay, "Focused!", . . .
I find it a good thing that bullying is being addressed in the entertainment industry, and things are going to be moving in a more positive direction, after that massive tragic incident at Open World Entertainment. I feel like the South Korean Government is doing more to create a better and safer working environment for talented and gifted artists, as they enforce, amend, and uphold the laws that protect both businesses and their current and future employees. But, bullying amongst the members is not the "real reason" stated in the announcement. It's the "staff members' complaints". According to one online media article, it mentioned that the staff members are given "low pay" and "long hours", which I assume is beyond the "20 hour labor limit", that we have here in the U.S. So, there could be another perspective worth considering, . . .
"What if the staff members are going after T-ara, and Hwayoung is just the beginning, or perhaps, Jiwon and Jiae?"
"What if there was tension between T-ara and the staff members?"
"What if the reason why we're getting all of this information from the inside the company, is coming from the staff?"
"What if the working conditions is so bad for the staff members, the company is unable to do anything to improve it?"
"What if the low wages are hitting the staff members so hard, they targeted the T-ara members?"
The staff members were the ones who complained to Kim Kwang Soo, according to him. He spoke with the members too about this. Unfortunately, the members have not said a word about what is happening within the company. He spoke with Hwayoung's and Hyoyoung's parents, and they haven't said anything, and we are told that they understood the situation. Now, if there was something so disagreeable, as parents, they would "publicly denounce Core Contents Media", not long after that meeting. I mean A.S.A.P.! Defamation? Yeah, for their child. Every parent would come to the aid of their children. I'm pretty sure both Hwayoung and Hyoyoung would be the first to call the police and/or file a lawsuit against the company very soon. So, something must make sense to warrant a termination, in accordance to the legal clause signed in Hwayoung's contract.
    Bane and his work, . . .
If you haven't seen the movie, "The Dark Knight Rises", please do, because the climatic portion of the plot seems to fit well with what is going on here with T-ara. SBS and MBC producers to Drama shows featuring Eunjung and Soyeon to insider witnesses' accounts to boycotts to celebrity reactions and opinions all over the world to petitions to missing premeries and to the ongoing ensuing calls for the demise that we have all come to love and hold dearly to our hearts and souls, . . . T-ara, . . . are becoming the framework of a collapsing city from within, leaving one word, . . . Anarchy.
    There's a glimmer of hope, . . . or is that a fusion bomb that is about to explode?, . . .
Kim Kwang Soo announces that he'll accept Hwayoung back, but only if she apologizes for what she did. I am assuming something happened between her and the staff. The staff are the only ones not easing the public's mind here truly. I am guessing the reason why we're looking to the members, is because how interactive they are with all of us, throughout their careers. But, I'm not sure if even they'll be able to speak about it. So the questions become then, well, at least to me, . . .
"The relationship between the members and the staff are that divided, as to get Hwayoung fired?"
"Is the situation so deeply rooted that Hwayoung accepts the termination, or is the situation redeemable, thus allowing Hwayoung back and all is forgiven?"
Now, for the current piece to this painting for me are as follows, . . .
That last source, . . . is taking into consideration that the assumed discord between the members is the "real problem" in this situation. Now, take a moment here, and ask yourself this, . . .
"Why hasn't the other members said anything in defense for their fellow injured member yet?"
"Do we take this at face vaule, and try to cope with what has transgressed within T-ara?"
"Why hasn't Hwayoung said anything about the matter?
What enforces this perspective of discord between Hwayoung and the members, including Kim Kwang Soo, is Hwayoung's message, and the reactions that followed from both the members and Kim Kwang Soo himself. There's a possibility that legally, Hwayoung is in the wrong, even though morally, she is right. This could be the case that we're seeing right now, from her tweet. Although, there's currently nothing to refute the possibility that Hwayoung is legally right, despite the immoral level of disscord between the members, including the staff, which led to an unfair decision to terminate her on the spot, as we look at Kim Kwang Soo's and Hyomin's reaction by switching her profile picture and the other members distancing themselves from Hwayoung. Yes, innocent people have been sent to jail, due to the lack of, or failure to provide, evidence.
Current remaining thoughts, while overlooking the ruins of a great city, . . .
Can there be still hope after so much destruction? I think so, after World War II.
Can Hwayoung come back? Sure. I think so. I hope so.
If she doesn't? I believe she can still make it in the industry as either a solo artist or join another group. Jiwon and Jiae proved that former T-ara members are able to make a comeback.
Will we ever find out what happened? Eventually.
Will I still be a fan of T-ara and Hwayoung? Of course.
Why? *shrugs while giving a small smile* I still believe in them all.

Obviously, none of us are employees of Core Contents Media, and it'll be a very, very, very long time before we get any answers as to how, let alone why, these events happened. Unless, they speak out directly to all of us about it soon, and not through their twitter accounts, because it is so hackable in this day of age (Whoever the IT guy is for Twitter, needs to add more security protocols.). After hearing about the fabrications and speculations surrounding this debacle recently, which is really interfering with my Olympics scheduling, I still have no say whether to be "certain" if there's bullying happening amongst our beloved T-ara members or not. But if your asking how opening minded I am to the possibility of that being the root cause of all of this, maybe, on two or three instances. However, very far from being absolutely sure, ergo, highly unlikely.
Joking and playing tricks, . . . Check.
Good group dynamics and team work, . . . Check.
Excessive love and affection, . . . Check.
Bullying and suicidal tendencies, . . . Not Applicable.
Recently I came across an online media article that claims to have witnessed our dear Hwayoung crying in the hallway, just outside of T-ara's waiting room, for Music Bank. Nobody didn't bother to comfort her, nor talk to her about what happened. One would think to care, right? If someone who saw this, won't it be a good thing to help her out? I'm starting to get flashbacks of that Walmart Parking Lot CCTV video footage of a girl getting thrown into a trunk of a car easily, and then speeding off to God knows where, while onlookers just keep going on with their business. Perhaps talking to Hwayoung, might of revealed something about it? *shrugs* Bullying? Where did that assumption come from by just standing there and doing nothing to help, or even trying to figure out what caused her to be like that, in the first place.
The other witness account of Hwayoung throwing down her crutches to the ground, no answers were given by Hwayoung herself as to why she did that to begin with. And yet, the concept of a retaliatory nature against bullying somehow creeps into the picture, as if they were wearing Death's Invisible Cloak, while present for the members' discussion behind closed doors earlier. Leaving ampoule room to inject some optimism to ask if she was upset at herself for being injured and feeling helpless to do anything to be more of helpful to the group. Alas, . . . we do not know why she did that. Period.
If this is one elaborate scheme to evaluate the current public mindsets on T-ara worldwide, it sure did backfired on them, with all the endorsements and other scheduled work ahead of them being canceled and postponed, followed by massive criticisms by fans, and bypassers, and bystanders, and followers alike. An even more funnier thought that if this was the means of getting our girls to have some vacation time to get away from work, that's a huge, whatnot, success. As for bullying, I rather read it in a lawsuit with testimonies and evidence, or in an interview, straight from the precious mouths and voices of our members. Yeah, I like the whole "Taking Responsibility" thing.

I'm especially curious too as to why people think that the bullying DID OCCUR. I don't know but even some of the longer fans seem to think that the bullying took place. I might be delusional and blind but please do enlighten me more on why did you think that there's bullying. Okay klee and grimlock who are longer fans than me just posted above me.
So I'm going to comment based on my perspective. Urgh it feels so hard to disagree with one of my favourite writers in this forum. First of all, sorry klee if I'll offend you with my post. I think I'm going to repeat myself again. You mentioned about looking at the 5 members of T-ara's tweets and also the tweets by Hwayoung, Hyoyoung, the coach and also the PDs. To be honest, when I looked at the tweets by T-ara, I seriously don't see any harm at all. Maybe they were pissed but did you consider all the stress that they had been through when Hwayoung was injured? I know it's not Hwayoung's fault to get injured but idols are human as well. You practised so freaking hard for a concert and then suddenly someone got injured, wouldn't you be stressed out that you need to practise all the formations again and also remember her parts? In Eunjung and Jiyeon's case, won't you ever think that if you are them, you'll go "Hey, I was injured, I forced myself to perform even if I was in pain and why is Hwayoung given a special treatment"? I know it's their responsibility to be understanding towards their group members but when you are tired, when you are stress and then something unfortunate happens, won't you be angry although you know that the injury is not Hwayoung's fault.
But irregardless of all these, all of them are at fault. (okay, I'm starting to judge them now) Hyomin shouldn't have tweeted and all of them (except Qri) shouldn't have replied her and Hwayoung and Hyoyoung shouldn't have bothered or got offended by the tweets cause again if you LOOK back at those tweets, they were either meant as a reminder, an advice or an encouragement (at least for me). Hwayoung by no means (or maybe she couldn't stand it anymore) got offended and started all the drama. I'm not trying to put all the blame on Hwayoung cause I don't deny the fact that she MIGHT be the victim. After the bullying rumours started, everybody started to shut up and stopped tweeting, Tom and Jerry deleted their tweets (suspicious huh?) while Hwayoung continued to make the drama worse. Was she planning to ruin T-ara at the first place since she knew that her time will soon be over? Judge it yourself.
Well, coming back to the issue of bullying again, of course bullying includes isolating and ignoring someone but I'm going to repeat myself again. Klee mentioned about "the sheer fact that we can observe 6Ara being less than comfortable/flat out awkward with Hwayoung tells A LOT." Isn't this perfectly normal? They are 6 friends who have been together all the time since debut. they faced all the stupid scandals together, they stayed together and performed together and they thought 6 was PERFECT but then one day POOF someone came in their group. They must be wondering why must they have an "extra" person when they are already a perfect combination and I believe that most of you previously thought that Hwayoung was a useless addition. If you thought that Hwayoung was a useless addition, how would you think the members themselves will feel? Of course, there will be a bit of jealousy, confusion and anger. And worst of all, you need to divide the hard-earned money that you have with another new member (especially EunJiMin). Then they try to "accept" her in the group but maybe they just can't click with her for some reasons thus resulting in the so call "isolating and ignoring" issue.
I am Ji stan and I do admit that she looks b!tchy at times and seem to have some attitude problems. But I don't blame her actually. Call me bias and delusional but I know in a group of girls, there will be cat fights, hair pulling and some b!tching going around. Trust me I am girl. What I want to say is I don't deny the fact that bullying MIGHT have taken place but for me, I still believe in them and if the bullying did take place, all of them did it for some reason that cannot be avoided. Again, call me delusional, bias, blind, ignorant whatsoever, I will never ever believe especially Soyeon will do such thing unless she admits it herself.
And one more thing. I don't believe in whatever nonsense that came out from KKS's mouth. I don't believe in that bullying case and neither do I believe that Hwayoung has princess-like attitude. This huge mess was just a misunderstanding by both parties and it was made worst by KKS whom I think has the intention of punishing them by breaking T-ara apart. I hope all of them will have the strong will to go against KKS and spill out the truth behind all these nonsense. I'll accept the truth even though it hurts. I just want the truth that's all.
    PEACE.

yengyeng reacted to maknae23 in [12.07.28] Core Contents Media's CEO to make a very big announcement regarding T-ara on the 30th
I am trying REALLY REALLY REALLY hard not to post any comments and speculations about this matter before the "truth" which will be revealed tomorrow but I just can't.
I found it amusing how most of you are so analytical here. Whatever small trivial matters were even brought up i.e how Jiyeon didn't "interact" with Hwayoung when she was playing bowling and how she "insulted" Hwayoung when Hwayoung was reading a book in Star Life Theater. Oh, you guys forgot that Jiyeon called Hwayoung "Babo" in Pretty Boys Ep 10. I am sorry but I find all these to be normal for friends. Don't you have any friends who will ignore you when you talk too much or call you stupid when you are acting as one? Well, maybe all these normal situations don't apply to IDOLS who are deemed and portrayed to be PERFECT FLAWLESS GODDESS?
Anyway, I don't deny the fact that Hwayoung may seem to be not very close with the original T-ara and often seen to be isolated. But isn't it normal? Let's say in a group of friends, you have known A for 10 years and B for 5 years. A and B are still your friends but sometimes it's human behavior to lean towards people who have been through thick and thin with you and people who understand you very very well. That's EunJiMin for me. And when someone enters your "circle" (Hwayoung), of course you will find it hard to adjust initially but after all those years of being together, I am sure there will be a certain bond even if it's not that strong compared to the first few friends.
You guys forgot that Hyomin hugged Hwayoung for countless number of times, Jiyeon fed Hwayoung in Pretty Boys, Hwayoung hugged Jiyeon during One Million Quiz Show and Hwayoung danced in front of Jiyeon and finally hugged her during their fan club opening ceremony. I am sorry that I can only quote certain examples cause I don't normally follow all the "couplets" but you don't need to cause I am sure all of us or maybe most of us know and acknowledge all these interactions. If they are indeed faking all these moments, oh well T-ara deserves the Grammy Awards for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress. What I want to say is some of you are digging those moments when EunJiMin were not interacting with Hwayoung but you guys neglect those moments when EunJiMin were having fun with Hwayoung.
I seriously have no idea how this topic of bullying came in and some of you are so quick in making judgement on EunJiMin and Hwayoung. I don't deny the fact that SOMETHING is going on but Hey, nothing is confirmed, yet. Call me delusional but before anything is confirmed, I wouldn't dare to mention anything like, "Hwayoung should be blamed" or "EunJiMin are just fake b!tches" or "Soyeon and Boram should have kept their mouth shut" because I am not in their shoes, I will never ever know the true situation and WHO AM I to judge them? As a fan? If you are disappointed in them, then stop being a fan and go find someone else to idolize.
Really had a fun time spazzing about the announcement on the 30th in the shoutbox yesterday. So by thinking positively, tomorrow's announcement will be either KKS announcing his marriage with Qri (ewww ...) or Boram/Qri/Soyeon getting married or Ji and Hwa doing a subunit or Queen Ice Qri as our new leader (YAY!!).
Everyone should just chillax. Drink a cup of coffee and PEACE.
EDIT : Happy 3rd Anniversary to T-ara !! May the years get longer.
