"To restore Eunjung's reputation, we will advocate her rights!"

Regarding Tara Eunjung's receiving of an unilateral notice of termination from the drama production company, the Korean Entertainment Management Association (KEMA) has expressed its position.
The KEMA on the 23rd published to the media an article titled "Opinion on the Unreasonable Unilateral Breach of TV Drama Contract"
According to this article, for the success of Five Fingers, Eunjung had given up her other schedules, including overseas activities, showing her sincerity to fully participate in the drama production, but the production team of "Five Fingers" on the 21st, requested with no legitimate reason, that Eunjung leave the drama on her own accord, mentioning that if she did not comply with the request, they would put pressure on Eunjung and her agency.
Eunjung's side did not understand this, and requested for a reason for withdrawal, but the production team only referred to the modification clause of the contract stating that the situation was not in the best interests of the drama production.
The KEMA stated "If it is necessary to change the cast during drama production, it should be be discussed with the actor under the premise of mutual understanding and negotiation, but the production team and SBS on the 22nd did not relate any information to Eunjung about her withdrawal, but announced her termination through the media"
It also stated "Through various evidence and proof, this association has verified and is shocked by this oppressive act of the production team."
The KEMA said "This association works to improve the practices of drama production and to develop a healthy industry by eradicating old practices. Therefore, from a few years ago, starting with the problems of unpaid acting fees, this association has worked to improve such unreasonable contracts and practices." "Such efforts can been seen in the 'Drama Production Standard Acting Contract' project developed along with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
KEMA's article concluded by stating "We will advocate for Ham Eunjung's rights to restore her reputation as she has been unreasonably harmed as described above. To ensure that all relevant parties in this incident will not be harmed, we anticipate a reasonable solution from the drama production team."

[12.08.24] Han Yeono, "Eunjung was threatened by the 'Five Fingers' PD"

Korean Actor Labor Union (CEO Han Yongsoo) has claimed that Eunjung being kicked off of the cast of SBS drama "Five Fingers" was due to blackmail/threats.
On the 23rd through a press release, a member Han Yeono said, "The union members and manager have asked for reasons why Cho Younghun PD removed Eunjung. The answer about Cho Younghun PD was that he said, 'Voluntarily leave! Or we'll create a withdrawal form' and threatened her."
Following, they said, "Eunjung gave up her schedules and left MBC's 'We Got Married; in order to appear in SBS 'Five Fingers'."
They finished by saying, "The union has a strong protest against the unilateral measures that the publishers and the PD Cho Younghun did to remove Eunjung from 'Five Fingers'. The union members will look to getting Eunjung reinstated back and request that they give sincere apologies to everyone involved and the viewers."

But what's done have been done and fans might not be able to look at T-ara the same as before.

Roy5ten reacted to Scatter_88mil in [12.07.30] T-ara's CEO, "Hwayoung's contract has been terminated"
I refrained from making a comment till now because frankly, I see a lot of people taking sides, some being delusional and others simply raging on without any sense of real rationality. And it disgusts me. I understand everyone is in shock, frustration and anger but seriously - have some decency to try not to stoop that low.
I myself am pretty surprised by the news but for some of you out there I talked with - yes, Hwayoung's departure was very likely before this announcement was made. It was bound to have happened - after all, Soomi of 5dolls followed the same fate earlier.
For me, I never understood Hwayoung's addition to the group because the background story and reasons as to why she was added are frankly, quite unacceptable. Entering a well-established group under such circumstances is definitely by no means, absolutely ridiculous. Idol rappers for the most part aren't even seen as real 'rappers' since the K-hiphop industry itself is pretty well established and popular on its own right.
On my take - I'll have to admit some sort of bullying did take place - or at least outcasting (mind you, the two don't always go hand-to-hand necessarily). And it is inexcuseable to condone such things. However, CCM obviously handled this terribly - not even SM would stoop this low. What was hoped to be a clarification to clear things up once and for all became an even bigger mess.
For those expecting T-ara to make their own statement in regards to the issue - I wouldn't hold your breath for it. Even if they did, what they say would be clearly scripted and not something purely out of their own heads. Even if they WANTED to, they don't really have much of a choice but end up being puppets.
CCM is obviously trying to avoid all ounces of responsibility by clearly making a smear campaign against Hwayoung and blaming its OWN employees. If it continues to keep this up any longer, I'm really afraid that a boycott of all T-ara merchandise and activities is what will be the only thing that will really knock some sense into KKS - especially since the current members aren't saying anything and likely won't be. This is a real serious case of incompetence, mercilessness and dare I say, a clear example that Kpop isn't about fluff and smiles. I even have no doubt that KKS may even go as far to physically abuse his own groups just so he can be dominant over them.
And suffice to say, the excuses are downright pathetic and unbelievable. You'd have to be be dumber than a brick to believe such nonsense.
In the long and wide shot, CCM is to be ultimately blamed for. What the original members did is inexcuseable and we can only hope they'll redeem themselves one way or another.
However, CCM and KKS are the deep root of the reason to this happening. As explained, why fix something that's not broken? 6-ara was functioning just fine overall (despite strong possibilities of tension between Eun/Ji/Min and So/Bo/Qri) and the last thing you'd want is a newbie thrown into the middle. On T-ara's part, I actually find their behavior - while daunting, immature and horrifying - quite understandable. They have after all, been overworked since debut and the last thing they want is a new member riding along their popularity and hard work since Day One.
Ultimately, if anything, CCM should seriously reflect on its system. T-ara has clearly given signs that they WANT to remain as 6-ara - they could have handled this a lot more better, but I don't blame them for wanting to reminisce their past. After all, things did seem much more stable for them back then. Hwayoung, personally, for her own safety was much better off not being in T-ara in the first place if you consider the original members' position. Considering the original T-ara definitely are pissed at their CEO and management for understandable (and even rightful) reasons, they've made it clear that no one else is welcome.
From this point and now on, I believe it's best for T-ara to remain as six members. Areum and Dani should take this incident as a very serious example and actually reconsider about being part of the group. Hell, I don't like Areum and Dani myself - but for their safety, I heavily advise that it's best that they stay away from T-ara - completely. Adding more new members is going to make things even worse for both T-ara and CCM by the long shot.
For all you out there still protesting Hwayoung's unjustly booting - take a second thought. She's free now. Free from misery, horrendous schedules, a pathetic company and a rabid baboon who dares to call himself a CEO. The least we can do is wish her to live like a normal human being and live out the rest of her days at the utmost best and peace as possible. I think Hwayoung herself as realized she got much more than what she bargained for and I don't blame her for that.
In the long run, I believe this is merely just the beginning of a series of bad events. I can't predict the future myself but for sure, relations between CCM and T-ara are likely to deteriorate even further and I think everyone should brace theirselves for more unfavorable crap to occur this year.
    That, is all.

This is crap. My heart sank after reading the headlines.
I've grown to like Hwayoung after so long and now she's booted.
Especially recently, after day by day.
Feedback? What feedback!?! They didn't even give a reason!!!
    I feel disappointed and crushed.
    Why is this even happening...
    I can't believe it and I don't want to.
Now I'll have mixed feelings listening to their songs.
Could this be related to the wardrobe malfunction awhile back? Was it on purpose?
To make Hwayoung leave so areum and dani has more lines to rap.
    If so then I'm speechless.
This is a bad day for QUEEN'S who've been supporting T-ara since 7-ara...
    I'm... Sad... For Hwayoung...
What am I supposed to be feeling for the other 6 members.

Another freaking BIG announcement! I'm kinda getting tired of hearing something like this from CCM regarding T-ara. Can't they make up their mind for once which direction they are going to head with this group?!
Personally, I would be really happy if they announce that Dani won't join T-ara anymore and not about removal of members, reprimanding the girls and shaming them publicly, again.
Just read the AKP article about the tweets. Antis and bashers are having a feast in there, but since no one really knows what happens off stage and off cam, no one is in any position to pass judgment on the girls.
I feel like us fans have gone through so much also while supporting T-ara. I'm sure we'll also get past this.
Supporting Boram, Qri, Soyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin, Hwayoung and Jiyeon all the way!

Ahreum didn´t impress me, her voice was just fine, (the song was an easy one) and her dance was really far to be as good as the dancers.
And it seems that the only talent they can say about Dani is to be "cute" , if that can be named "talent", the girl doesn´t even know how to stand on stage or look at the public, and her rap was... like many people on street could rap, so what´s she bringing to T-ara? the cuteness of any other girl of 14 yeras old that should be singing at achool chorus?
i know there´s not way back, but i still think the same, about their adition . Completely unnecesary and useless.

just give them some space to breathe will you. 3 consecutive albums in the next 6 months is also torturous for them in case you haven't realized.

Um. So basically he's saying that a child he found on the street has the vocal and charismatic ability to land herself into one of the current most popular girl groups in the business. He's saying T-ara's 5+ years of work is worth one pervy glance from an old man to a girl just walking along the sidewalk. She didn't audition. She didn't train. She didn't pursue a career in singing or entertaining. She was seen on the streets at 12 years old and approached by a man with tons of money who promised her fame and riches.
And we're supposed to respect her as a valuable member of T-ara? This is a joke and I'm not having it.
