Today, May 5 2010 at 3:00 Am, Boram's grandmother has passed away. Baek Sul Hee is Boram's grandmother from the father's side. She passed away at the age of 83 due to high blood pressure. Baek Sul Hee already had complications since 2005, the most recent before her death occurred last year. Her life was on the limbo after being rushed to the hospital for Hypertension. Baek Sul Hee was a popular icon during the 50's. It seems talent runs through Jeon Boram's family as his father Jeon Youngrok is also a popular icon. Baek Sul Hee debuted in the Korean entertainment industry in 1943. She debuted with the classic song "Spring Day is Gone". On the April 30th episode, T-ara's leader Eunjung was a guest on popular KBS show 'Invincible Youth'. But after the episode was aired, netizens exclaimed seeing something unusual from Eunjung. Apparently, netizens think that Eunjung was caught swearing by saying the word 'Shibal'(It's a korean word within the same context of 'f*ck) while having a conversation with fellow member and part of the G7 Hyomin. With this controversy sparking, the staff of the show has explained it to Eunjung's defense. On the May 4 episode of SBS 'Strong Heart', T-ara's maknae Jiyeon explained her hardships before debuting. Prior to debuting, Jiyeon was a model and was popular for her good looks. T-ara and Yoon Si Yoon has recently teamed up for the promotion of KTF's latest product Bubi Bubi. Recently announcing that they will have a mini-drama series for this product, they held a press conference at Sangam-dong. On the latest episode of KBS 2TV's Music Bank, the Graphics coordinator made a mistake, aligning T-ara with the winning scores instead of Kara. T-ara was shocked when they thought they won but the MCs handed the trophy to Kara instead which caused much confusion with fans and the artists present as well. Exactly how much has small mistake grown to? News about T-ara fans extorting Kara's Lupin album has rose due to this. Even if the two groups are close to each other, it seems their fans are far from it. After winning their first award for their bonus single at Mnet's M!Countdown, T-ara wins their second one in SBS Inkigayo TAKE 7. It was a surprise win as they stole Kara's opportunity to grab their own Triple Crown award. Soyeon took the opportunity to thank their fans for supporting them and the crew working hard for T-ara. T-ara's company has recently announced that after the $1 Million CF deal in Japan, T-ara will follow in their male counterpart's road as they will debut in Japan this May. A press conference was held on the 17th. During this press conference, T-ara's Eunjung, Soyeon and Hyomin revealed an interesting detail prior to their debut in T-ara, they were offered to be in Japanese companies before. Hyomin revealed that Japan's super group AVEX has offered her a contract to debut in Japan as an actress and singer. She turned it down as she was only in Highschool and the fact that she was afraid of adapting to a foreign culture and that she had to learn a whole new language in such short notice. Soyeon was also still in high school when she was offered by another big company, this time a worldwide company, Sony BMG records.
